SHILLONG TEER RESULT TODAY, JULY 30, 2025 LIVE UPDATES: Shillong Teer is a unique lottery game based on archery, conducted daily at the Shillong Polo Stadium in Meghalaya. Organised by the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association, it offers exciting cash prizes while also promoting archery among the youth.

Launched by the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association (KHASA), the game is designed to promote the traditional sport of archery and inspire the younger generation to actively participate in it.
HOW TO PLAY SHILLONG LOTTERY?
The Shillong Teer Lottery consists of two short rounds, each lasting about two minutes. In the first round, archers shoot 30 arrows, followed by 20 arrows in the second round. Players choose a number between 0 and 99, attempting to predict how many arrows will hit the target.
Winners are determined by how accurately their guesses match the actual number of hits. Tickets are sold at authorised outlets in denominations of Rs 1, Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20 and Rs 50, with prize amounts varying based on ticket value and prediction accuracy.
For instance, a Rs 1 ticket with a correct first-round prediction can win Rs 80, while the second round can yield Rs 60. Successfully predicting both rounds can earn up to Rs 4,000.

Vedika wins US Kids Golf title, Aida finishes third
Agency: PTI Last Updated: Pinehurst (US), Aug 3 (PTI) India's Vedika Bhansali emerged champion at the US Kids World Championship golf at Pinehurst Village. Playing in the girls 9-year category, Vedika shot her best nine-hole round of the week with 4-under 32, and it was bogey free for the second time in three days. With 33-33-32, she totalled 10-under and beat Japan's Emi Minami by one shot and American Audrey Zhang by two. Vedika, who was fourth a year ago, had just one bogey in three rounds, each of which is nine holes for her age group. As Vedika picked the gold, another Bengaluru golfer Aida Thimmaiah (75-68-66) was third in girls 11 category. Aida's final round was brilliant as she shot 6-under 66 and totalled 7-under to finish third. The runaway winner was American Bella Simoes (66-62-67) at 21-under while Ananya Venkataraghavan (70-69-67), granddaughter of former India cricketer S Venkataraghavan, was second at 10-under. Ananya is now based in the United States and represents the US. Two other Indians finished in the Top-8. Last year's medallist, Chandigarh's Nihal Cheema was tied-fourth in boys 8 category with cards of 38-39-35. In boys 10, Noida's Kabir Goyal shot 72-70-68 and finished eighth. Bhawna, Yatri assured of medals in U22 Asian Boxing Championships
Last Updated: Bangkok, Aug 3 (PTI) Bhawna Sharma and Yatri Patel were on Sunday assured of a medal each in the U-22 Asian Boxing Championships after registering dominating wins over their respective opponents in the quarterfinals here. In the women's 48kg quarterfinals, Bhawna eased past Vietnam's Ngoc Linh Chi Ngo while Yatri punched her way to the last four with a confident showing against Keerththana Uthayakumar of Sri Lanka in the women's 57kg bout, each of them securing a unanimous victory. Meanwhile, Tanu tried her best to secure another medal for India but fell short against local hope Natnicha Chongprongklang in the women's 54kg quarterfinals. In the U-19 section, Shivam and Mausam Suhag registered contrasting victories to advance in their respective weight categories. In the men's 55kg category, Shivam dominated all the three rounds against Turkmenistan's Bezirgen Annayev to earn a unanimous verdict. Later in the day, Mausam showed resilience under pressure from Kazakhstan's Nurkabyluly Mukhit in the 65 kg category to carve out a 3-2 win. Ton-up Brooks, doughty Root lead England to 317/4 at tea
Agency: PTI Last Updated: London, Aug 3 (PTI) Harry Brook made his 10th Test hundred and Joe Root a determined unbeaten 98 as England reached 317 for four at tea on day four, within sniffing distance of the 374-run target set by India in the fifth Test here on Sunday. At the break, Root and Jacob Bethell (1) were at the crease with the home side needing a further 57 runs for a memorable win and a 3-1 series victory. Brook (111 off 98 balls) and Root added 195 runs for a brilliant fourth-wicket stand that ran the Indian bowlers ragged. Brook brought up his 10th Test century in his 50th innings to be placed 9th on a list that is headed by Don Bradman, who achieved the feat in just 23 innings.
