Brad Pitt's LA home ‘ransacked' by burglars at night, says LAPD
Los Angeles, June 27 (UNI) Hollywood actor Brad Pitt's mansion in LA was reportedly 'ransacked' by burglars on June 25 night, reports CBS News.
The burglary happened at 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the 2300 block of N. Edgemont Street, according to LAPD.
According to the investigating LAPD officers, 'Three suspects broke into the residence via the front window, ransacked the location, then fled the location with miscellaneous property.'
While the police did not identify the house, it is said to belong to 'The Inglorious Bastards' actor, who bought it in 2023 for $5.5 million.
Authorities confirmed no one was home at the time of the burglary.
The incident is one of several high-profile burglaries in recent months, including at the homes of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, Austin Butler, and Olivier Giroud of the Los Angeles Football Club.
Pitt has been travelling in recent weeks on a promotional tour for his new film, 'F1: The Movie'.
Earlier this week, on Monday, he was seen at the movie's international premiere in London.
Directed by Joseph Kosinski, the movie follows Pitt's Sonny Hayes, a Formula One driver who comes out of retirement to mentor and team up with a younger driver, Damson Idris' Joshua Pearce. UNI ANV SSP

Popular Telugu anchor Swetcha Votarkar commits suicide
States » South Hyderabad, June 28 (UNI) Popular Telugu news anchor Swetcha Votarkar (40) allegedly committed suicide at her residence in Chikkadapalli on Friday night. According to Chikkadapalli police, she was found hanging from a ceiling fan around 1030 hours. Swetcha, who had been living with her daughter following a divorce five years ago, is suspected to have taken the extreme step due to personal reasons.
