Bhopal rains flood underpass; school van trapped in water; cops rescue 10 kids
Despite the water level being visibly high, the van driver tried to drive through. As the vehicle moved forward, water rose above the wheels, causing the engine to stall and the van to become stranded midway.
An MP Nagar Dial-100 First Response Vehicle (FRV), patrolling nearby, spotted the van stuck in the water. Acting swiftly, police personnel rescued the children from the vehicle and ensured their safe transportation to school.

No injuries were reported, and the timely response of the police prevented a potentially dangerous situation.
Head Constable Rajeev Gautam said that he was deployed on Dial-100 FRV from Tuesday night till Wednesday morning. It was raining in the morning.
Around 7 am, when he, along with other staff, was patrolling the area, he spotted a van stuck in water at the Subhash Nagar underbridge. He went to check and found that there were around 10 school students from class 1-5, including girls, in the van.

Hot and humid weather in delhi with light rain
New Delhi: Some parts of the city saw very light rain on Saturday, but hot and humid conditions made the outdoors uncomfortable. However, relief is expected on Sunday as the India Meteorological Department has issued a 'yellow' alert for light to moderate rain along with thunderstorms and lightning. The maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 37.1 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal. It was 36.2 degrees Celsius a day earlier. However, due to high humidity, the heat index or 'feels like' temperature was higher. The heat index settled at 54 degrees Celsius at 5.30 pm. The relative humidity oscillated between 57% and 89%. The minimum temperature was reported at 27.9 degrees Celsius, which is near normal for this time of the year. According to IMD, Safdarjung, which is the city's base station, logged 1.8 mm of rainfall from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm on Saturday. During the same duration, Palam recorded 2.6 mm, Mayur Vihar 0.5 mm, Rajghat 0.1 mm and Lodhi Road saw 'trace' rainfall.
