ZIM vs SA: Rubin Hermann and Rassie van der Dussen help South Africa beat Zimbabwe
South Africa secured a seven-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in their Twenty20 international tri-series match at Harare Sports Club on Sunday, thanks to Rubin Hermann's maiden international half-century of 63 runs off 36 balls.
The win eliminated Zimbabwe from final contention and set up a championship match between South Africa and unbeaten New Zealand on Saturday.
Zimbabwe batted first after losing the toss and managed to score 144 for six. Brian Bennett scored 61 runs and Ryan Burl remained unbeaten at 36, forming a crucial fourth-wicket partnership of 78 runs off 47 balls.

South Africa's chase began poorly, with both opening batsmen falling to fast bowler Tinotenda Maposa with only 22 runs on the board.
Hermann, making only his second appearance after debuting in the tournament opener, partnered with captain Rassie van der Dussen for a match-winning third-wicket stand of 106 runs. Van der Dussen finished unbeaten on 52 as South Africa reached their target with 16 balls remaining.
"I was really chuffed with the bowling – 144 was never enough. We lost two early wickets so there was a little bit of early pressure but Rubin came in and played beautifully," said van der Dussen.

South Africa, who previously lost to New Zealand in the round robin, will face them again on Tuesday before the final. "It's like a three-match series. Hopefully we can make it 1-1 on Tuesday and take it in the final," van der Dussen added.
Zimbabwe's captain Sikandar Raza pointed out their disadvantage of batting first in all three matches. "But that's no excuse," he said of their batting performance. "There were a lot of dot balls. Getting bat on ball can go a long way to getting a good total."
South Africa will now look to level the score against New Zealand in Tuesday's match before their final showdown on Saturday.
