Revered singer Sir Rod Stewart has shared a four-word health update after the star recently celebrated his 80th birthday.
Marking the milestone birthday earlier this year, the Da Ya Think I'm Sexy singer is loved across the world after a staggering career that has spanned across decades. Despite the worldwide sensation status that Sir Rod holds today, it would be some time before the singer was finally world-famous.
Despite his career starting from humble beginnings, it wasn't until the 1960s when he embarked on a solo career and his star began to rise.
After the release of his third album, Every Picture Tells A Story, Sir Rod shot to fame after the record made it all the way to top spot in the UK, US, Canada and Australia.

With his career continuing to reach new heights in the years that followed, he continues to tour across the world to this day. The 80-year-old is still releasing new music, with him teaming up with Jools Holland, to release Swing Fever last year.
But now, during a recent appearance on the Sidetracked with Annie and Nick podcast, he said "I couldn't be better" before adding: "I'm enjoying my life, I've got good health so far and a happy family."

But, his recent health update comes amid the news that he has had to postpone his tour date in The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas that was scheduled to take place last Sunday (June 1).
Taking to Instagram to break the news to his followers, he posted: "I am so sorry to inform you that I'm not feeling well and my show tonight at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is being rescheduled to June 10."
Meanwhile, it was back in January that Sir Rod was forced to cancel three dates in Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, and Lincoln, California after he was diagnosed with strep throat and tested positive for Covid.

With Sunday's Las Vegas gig now pushed back to next Tuesday (June 10), the 80-year-old is set to return to English soil later this month.
In more positive news for the singer, Sir Rod is set to make his return to the Glastonbury stage at the end of the month, with the singer previously telling his Instagram followers of his excitement: "After all these years, I'm proud and ready and more than able to take the stage again to pleasure and titillate my friends at Glastonbury in June. I'll see you there!"
The last time Sir Rod took to the Glastonbury stage was 23 years ago as he headlined the Pyramid Stage in 2002.

Brooklyn Beckham's decision could leave sister Harper 'devastated' amid family feud

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info The Beckham family has been embroiled in a bitter feud after eldest son Brooklyn, 26, allegedly severed ties with his parents and siblings amid an ongoing dispute. Brooklyn has noticeably snubbed his family on social media, recently ignoring his dad David's 50th birthday celebrations and failing to offer congratulations on his knighthood. He also neglected to pay tribute to his parents on Father's Day and Mother's Day. With his sister Harper's 14th birthday looming on July 10, Brooklyn faces a significant decision. A source revealed to MailOnline that Harper would be "devastated" if her brother fails to acknowledge her special day. READ MORE - Chris Tarrant savages Phillip Schofield as he points out 'nasty little trick' READ MORE - Edinburgh's secret tunnel 500 metres deep that let people to walk under the Forth The insider shared: "Brooklyn and Harper used to be inseparable." The source continued: "He adored her, he hopefully still does, but the problem is that Brooklyn has a track record for ignoring family birthdays now. It would be devastating for Harper not to hear from him. She hasn't done anything and she's only 13-years-old.", reports the Mirror. The family reportedly holds Nicola responsible for the rift, but they remain hopeful that Brooklyn will come to his senses. As Harper doesn't have her own Instagram account, the family typically tags her in their posts using #harperseven. Despite the underlying reasons for the disparity being hush-hush, whispers suggest that Brooklyn's partner, Nicola, aged 30, may be the wedge that has distanced him from his kin. Following the buzz that Nicola might lie at the core of the relational rift, Brooklyn publicly rallied behind his wife on Instagram. He uploaded a fond video to his Instagram with the heartfelt message: "My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you're the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby." (Image: Samir Hussein/WireImage) (Image: instagram) (Image: INSTAGRAM) The lovebirds pledged their commitment in July 2020 and celebrated their union two years on. The couple honoured their heritage with a Jewish ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida, nodding to both Brooklyn's distant Jewish grand-relative and Nicola's father, Nelson Peltz's faith. Nicola has become an integral part of the Beckham clan over time, frequently participating in family gatherings and gracing red carpet spectacles shoulder to shoulder with them. Brooklyn's rapport with his relatives has historically been sturdy, marked by shared vacations and joint festivities at significant events. Memorable is a clip that spread like wildfire across social platforms in 2018, capturing Brooklyn catching his dad off guard to mark his 43rd birthday celebration. David Beckham was taken by surprise at a London eatery when his son Brooklyn swooped in for a warm embrace. Recently flown in from New York, Brooklyn's unexpected appearance on his father's special day led to an emotional reunion of the two. Despite pursuing his craft away from the lens, Brooklyn Beckham hasn't lost touch with family ties as he recently celebrated his grandmother Sandra's 76th birthday. Showing strong affection, he shared a heartfelt message on social media: "Happy birthday nanny xx love you so much." Brooklyn has also become an integral part of wife Nicola's clan, sharing a close bond with her parents Nelson and Claudia. In a show of familial solidarity, Brooklyn extended heartfelt birthday greetings to his billionaire father-in-law Nelson via Instagram just yesterday. While David, Victoria and their trio Harper, Romeo, and Cruz enjoy their abode in Holland Park, London, Brooklyn and Nicola have made LA their home. Observers are keenly watching to see if Brooklyn will publicly celebrate his sister's birthday or if an omission could signify a deepening divide within the family.

Molly-Mae's is a 'Wimbledon lady' in white maxi dress that 'suits all shapes'

Molly-Mae Hague wowed at Wimbledon last year in a flattering white maxi dress that 'suits all shapes' as fans hailed her the 'epitome of a Wimbledon lady' The highly anticipated Wimbledon tournament is set to kick off tomorrow (June 30), and with it comes the perfect excuse for celebrities and tennis enthusiasts to show off their stylish takes on the classic 'Wimbledon whites' theme. One standout look from last year's event was courtesy of Molly-Mae Hague, who stunned in a chic white maxi dress that might just be one of the most memorable courtside ensembles to date. The former Love Island star took to Instagram to showcase her Wimbledon-inspired outfit, donning Odd Muse's £125 The Ultimate Muse Collar Maxi Dress, which earned her a flurry of compliments from fans. "Omg the epitome of a Wimbledon lady right there wow" gushed one admirer, while another fan raved: "The @oddmuselondon dress is stunning on you!!!" A third follower begged for details on her outfit, asking: "Where's this dress from", and a fourth fan couldn't get enough, exclaiming: "Obsessed with this look and that bag is unreal". Molly-Mae's outfit was elevated by a sleek, quilted black Chanel bag and understated gold bracelets, paired with a chic, loose chignon bun. However, the true showstopper was the Odd Muse dress itself, boasting a streamlined, elegant silhouette and luxurious details. The dress features a crisp, pointed collar and button-down front, giving it a timeless, classic shirt dress feel, while its sleeveless design ensures it's perfect for the warmer months. Crafted from a lightweight, sumptuous fabric, the dress also boasts tailored darts and a front slit, creating a flattering silhouette that suits all body types. If you're eager to snag Molly-Mae's Wimbledon dress, you're in luck as it's currently up for grabs in all sizes from a XXS to 3XL. Plus, if the all-white ensemble isn't your cup of tea, it also comes in black and grey. Molly-Mae's dress created such a buzz last year that this year there are several other designs offering a similar look. For instance, Karen Millen's £119 Cotton Top Stitch Woven Midi Shirt Dress boasts a similar collared neckline and fitted shirt dress design. Instead of a halter neck, it features a classic sleeveless fit that shields your shoulders from the sun, coupled with a more flowing midi length skirt. For those looking for a steal, the Heidi Viscose-Linen Belted Midi Dress in White from Reiss is currently on sale, reduced from £178 to £80. It offers a slightly more relaxed, breezy vibe with a belted waist and floaty linen-blend material, making it ideal for basking in the summer sun. Even if you're not off to Wimbledon this year, these elegant dresses can be worn for a day at the races, graduation ceremonies or even just a fancy dinner out, making them the perfect versatile addition to your summer event wardrobe, reports OK!.

Rod Stewart's 'horrible' complaint about Glastonbury set as he makes 'demand'

Rod Stewart is set to play the Sunday 'legends' slot at Glastonbury this Sunday, with the Maggie May hitmaker recently opening up about his concerns ahead of the performance Iconic singer Sir Rod Stewart has candidly expressed his distaste for one particular aspect of his highly anticipated performance at Glastonbury, while also revealing a specific request he's made. In a special Glastonbury edition of the BBC Sidetracked podcast with Annie Macmanus and Nick Grimshaw, the 'Maggie May' singer discussed his upcoming gig on the festival's renowned Pyramid Stage. ‌ Having previously graced the stage in 2002 with Coldplay and Stereophonics, Rod is set to take on the Sunday 'legends' slot at Worthy Farm, following in the footsteps of music greats like Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, and Kylie Minogue. ‌ When asked about his thoughts on being labelled a "legend", Rod admitted he's comfortable with the term, saying: "I don't mind. I obviously think I deserve it. I just wish they wouldn't call it the teatime slot." Rod continued to explain why he wasn't keen on the traditional name given to his performance time, which Annie agreed sounded "old", before the musician himself branded the label "horrible". Discussing his preparation for the show, Rod revealed: "We're working on the set list, but not too hard. I wanna try and treat it like any other game, you know, although it's not; it's Glastonbury." He further disclosed his insistence on extending his stage time, explaining: "But I've only got an hour had an hour and 15, and I demanded an hour and a half because I many songs. You know, obviously, this'll be the last time I do it." Rod says he'll have a few drinks prior to his Glastonbury performance to take the edge off. He shared that, instead of trying to be perfect, he'll focus on enjoying himself on stage: "So, I want it to be memorable, but I'm just gonna go in, have a few drinks before I go on and enjoy myself like I've always done all my life." ‌ Meanwhile, Rod's wife Penny Lancaster has spoken candidly about her concerns for her husband, admitting that recent losses in his family have led him to reflect on his own life and consider how long he's got left. However, the famous singer continues to keep her on her toes. During an appearance on the 'We're Not Getting Any Younger' podcast, Penny answered a question about whether Rod still made her feel young, saying: "He does, he does." She also mused: "My thought with Rod, the way I kind of describe him, you know when you get to 80, I guess there's a lot of reflection, there's more to look back on than there is to look forward, and he's wondering to himself, he's lost his two brothers, maybe 'How long have I got?'". Alongside the preparations for his highly anticipated Glastonbury performance, Rod has also vowed to set a new 100m record for over 80-year-olds, sharing in Men's Health that he had already achieved an impressive 19 seconds and hoped to shave it down to 17 seconds, in a bid to top Kenton Brown's October 2024 record of 14.21 seconds.
