Best Buy's 4th of July sale takes up to half off TVs, appliances and mowers
Best Buy is starting off the week by launching its annual 4th of July sale today. If you're searching for the best deals on electronics and gadgets, then this is the savings event for you, as the retailer marks down the latest tech from Sony, Razer, Samsung and more. I'm ready to put my near-decades' worth of deals-hunting experience to work finding all the retailer's best deals.
Ahead of the long weekend, there's more to save on than just the kind of deals you'd expect from Best Buy. This year's early price cuts include everything from CNN Underscored's top-tested TV brands and gaming PCs to patio gadgets like grills and pizza ovens, Samsung appliances and so much more. Below, you'll find the 21 best ways to save through July 6.
Sony WF-1000XM5 ANC Earbuds
I've tried hundreds of earbuds over my decade of writing about consumer electronics, and Sony has consistently made some of the best. Its newest pair, the XM5, are editor-favorite earbuds that offer immersive and customizable sound as well as high-quality noise cancellation and plenty of battery life. I recommend these as the next best thing to AirPods for Android users or just notable platform-agnostic buds that are even better at $50 off.Read our review
HP 14-Inch OmniBook 5 Flip 2-in-1 Laptop
This 2-in-1 laptop can be used to type up notes and reply to emails in its standard configuration, only to switch over to tablet mode with its 14-inch touchscreen display. Save $250 as part of this summer sale at Best Buy.
Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL Wired Gaming Keyboard in White
This may not have made the cut when my colleagues tested the best mechanical keyboards, but with a discount like this, Razer's Huntsman V3 Pro is as good as it gets if you're shopping for a keyboard with all the bells and whistles. Score the best price of the year at $50 off the white color to take your gaming setup to the next level.
Asus 14-Inch Vivobook 14 Laptop
Take $100 off this 14-inch Asus laptop while it has returned to its best price in 2025. All-day battery life, 12GB of memory and an Intel i5 processor make this a notable option for students or just casual browsing on the go.
Sony Ult Field 1
The lowest price Best Buy has ever offered on this Bluetooth speaker is live ahead of the 4th of July. We appreciated its reasonable price, portability and 360-degree sound. Snag it in four on-sale colors for $40 off and bring some noise to your backyard gatherings this weekend and beyond.
GoPro Hero 12 Action Camera
This may be an older action camera from GoPro, but it's more than capable of taking photos and videos of upcoming hikes. I have one of these in my own personal travel kit and love how reliable it has been for everything from shooting timelapses to underwater videos.
Philips Hue Indoor 10-Foot Smart LED Lightstrip Kit
Philips Hue's basic light strip is down to the second-best price of the year in time for you to add some accent lighting behind a shelf or underneath kitchen cabinets. I have a couple of these in my apartment and love the adjustable colors and lighting temperatures that it can cast out for some extra ambiance.
Shark Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum
Take 50% off this cordless stick vacuum while it is down to the best price I have ever tracked. It can tackle pet hair on top of handling typical debris like crumbs, dirt and dust — all with a cordless design that's powered by a built-in battery.
Traeger Grills Pro 22 Pellet Grill and Smoker
Traeger quickly won over CNN Underscored editors when we tested out the best grills. This discounted model has the same reputation as our best-tested pick but with a smaller cooking surface that's perfect for compact patio setups. It's also matching its lowest price to date and ships just in time for a last-minute addition to your holiday weekend barbecue.
Greenworks 80V 21-Inch Electric Lawn Mower Combo Kit
This electric lawn tool combo kit has just dropped to the best price I've ever tracked. At 50% off, you'll be able to bring an electric lawn mower with an 80V battery and a 21-inch cutting deck to your tool shed, complete with an electric string trimmer and leaf blower.
iRobot Roomba Combo 10 Max Robot Vacuum and Mop
A whopping $800 off, this robotic vacuum and mop from iRobot is one of the best values I've tracked at Best Buy as part of its 4th of July sale. Once this autonomous cleaning robot is done with its mission, it will return to the bundled charging and auto-empty dock.
Samsung Stackable Smart Front-Load Washer
Samsung's Super Speed Wash tech and smart features help streamline laundry day at nearly $300 off the usual price tag. Today's offer is the second-best discount of the year and the lowest in nearly two months.
Samsung 27-Cubic-Foot 3-Door French Door Smart Refrigerator
This spatial kitchen appliance wowed our editor when CNN Underscored previously took a look at the higher-end version of this Samsung Bespoke refrigerator. This one that has dropped in price today at Best Buy shares many of the same features as our editor-approved pick, but mostly nixes some fancier additions to offer the same refrigeration tech for less.
Dyson V15 Detect Extra Cordless Vacuum
This is one of the most capable vacuums in Dyson's stable, which means it's one of the very best cordless stick vacuums on the market — period. The V15 comes equipped with laser lighting tech to reveal the dust on your hardwood floors for ensuring you get each and every particle up.
Electrolux Stackable Front-Load Washer with Stackable Electric Dryer
Save an extra $300 by bundling this pair of laundry essentials together. The complete package, including the stackable front-load washer and its dryer counterpart, is a total of $830 off the going rate, thanks to the extra savings in the Best Buy Independence Day sale.
Sony 65-Inch Bravia 8 OLED 4K Smart Google TV
If you're looking to bring an OLED TV to your home theater, look no further than Sony's Bravia lineup. This 65-inch version is one of the best televisions in its class, so much so that I've been eyeing this exact television for a few months now. It's $700 off the usual price tag and comes within $100 of the 2025 low.
Samsung 55-Inch The Frame TV (2024)
Ask CNN Underscored editors or our readers, and you'll get the same result: We love this TV. Samsung's The Frame won us over year after year with a design that's closer to a picture frame than your typical TV. Save $500 and take advantage of the best offer in 2025.Read our review
LG 65-Inch C4 Evo OLED TV
If the Sony Bravia TV that I already highlighted was too pricey for your home theater needs, the LG OLED is my next best recommendation. The C4 is LG's previous-generation flagship, and that means you can score its best price of the year at $300 off. Read our review
Samsung B-series 3.1-Channel DTS Virtual:X Soundbar
There's no excuse to keep using your TV's built-in speakers. Odds are, you're having a difficult time understanding dialogue or having to constantly adjust the volume to balance out the audio. But not anymore. This affordable soundbar includes a wireless subwoofer for added bass to help round out movie nights with the kind of booming sound you'd find at the actual theater.
Samsung 77-Inch S84D 4K OLED TV
If you've been scrolling through this list waiting to see the largest television that's on sale, you've made it to the right place. This massive 77-inch OLED TV is matching its best price of the year thanks to this $200-off discount ahead of the holiday weekend. CNN Underscored's deals experts are always shopping for the best discounts online. Outside of holiday weekends, we cover weekly guides to the steepest price cuts from specific retailers. These early 4th of July deals are worth a closer look now, considering many items are down to their lowest prices of the year, even beating previous discounts I've covered.
I'm constantly tracking price cuts across multiple online storefronts to ensure the deals are as good as the retailers say. The rest of the deals team and I dive into each product's price history while cross-referencing reviews and guides from other CNN Underscored editors to determine if it's worth your cash.
Quite simply, our goal here at CNN Underscored is to save you money. Our senior deals editor Rikka Altland has been doing just that for nearly a decade, and that kind of experience extends to the rest of our deals team. Being an advocate for buyers to make sure we're only recommending the best prices on the best products is what we're all about, and that focus comes across in our work.

Joor's Solution to Fashion's Need for Speed is a Digital Trade Show
In today's retail relay, growth hinges on handing buyers the baton of evergreen bestsellers and fresh-drop stock primed to ship at the speed of style. After all, McKinsey reported last November, one-third of consumers now expect same-day delivery to keep pace with their fashion fix. In response to these evolving demands, Joor developed a first-of-its-kind digital show to unite fashion brands with inventory available to sell (ATS) now. The fashion apparel sector's wholesale management ecosystem is calling it the Ready-To-Ship Style digital event, as developed to address the evolving needs of the industry's retail landscape. More from Sourcing Journal FedEx Faces $170M in Tariff Headwinds as US Cracks Down on De Minimis China Port Volumes Hit Record Highs on US Tariff Truce Footwear Firms Rejiggering Supply Chains Will See Long-Term Benefits 'Brands are seeking efficient ways to sell through existing inventory, while retailers require the agility to place orders closer to delivery, minimizing risk by reacting to trends and real-time product performance,' said Amanda McCormick Bacal, senior vice president of marketing at Joor. 'By focusing on available-to-sell inventory, this groundbreaking digital experience provides access to products before prices are impacted by upcoming tariffs, as well as a showcase for evergreen styles which have become increasingly vital to retailers' assortments.' The digital trade show, hosted on Joor Passport, features 145 brands—including Mother Denim, Juicy Couture and Farm Rio—all with ATS inventory. Participating players can showcase brand bestsellers, evergreen pieces and carryover styles to 'maximize visibility of current stock,' Joor said, 'and drive sales ahead of the upcoming tariff changes.' Retailers looking to address these evolving market needs quickly, meanwhile, can now source styles in stock and ready to ship rather than placing orders to be delivered six months later. Joor's exclusive transaction data revealed several 'seismic shifts' within the luxury wholesale fashion industry over the past five years. Retailers are increasingly placing orders on shorter lead times, the data found, and placing smaller initial orders to save more of the company's buying budget for in-season purchases. In fact, per the New York-based platform, the average time from a wholesale order being placed to the product shipping has fallen 66 percent—from a high of 253 days in 2019 to just 86 days in 2024. In addition, evergreen styles continue to signify the climbing importance of such core items' driving overall sales volumes—growing from 37 percent of gross merchandise value (GMV) on Joor in 2019 to 47 percent in 2024. 'The fact that nearly half of total transaction volume is now dedicated to evergreen products demonstrates brands continued focus on maximizing best sellers and retailers' continued desire to invest in proven commercial winners,' Joor said. Looming tariffs seriously influence the wholesale fashion market's need for speed as well. Joor's tariff survey from April confirmed that 85 percent of brands anticipate increasing prices because of global tariffs, creating an urgency for retailers to order and receive goods in advance of these price hikes. The Joor Ready-To-Ship Style passport show runs until August 18.

Musk-Trump Feud Reignites As Billionaire Attacks Spending Bill Backers
The feud between President Donald Trump and his former ally, Elon Musk, was reignited once again on Tuesday after the world's richest person said he'll back primary challenges against GOP lawmakers voting for the president's signature spending bill, prompting Trump to retaliate by threatening to scrap government subsidies for Musk's firms. AFP via Getty Images Musk attacked the spending bill in a series of post on X on Monday night and early Tuesday morning, saying: 'Every member of Congress who campaigned on reducing government spending,' and backed the mega bill 'will lose their primary next year if it is the last thing I do on this Earth.' The billionaire then tweeted, 'If this insane spending bill passes, the America Party will be formed the next day,' as he bashed what he described as the 'Democrat-Republican uniparty.' Musk later said that anyone who votes for the legislation after campaigning 'on the PROMISE of REDUCING SPENDING' will see their face on a poster of Pinocchio with the caption 'LIAR' followed by the text 'Voted to increase America's Debt by $5,000,000,000,000.' The X owner reshared the results of an unscientific poll he conducted on the platform last month during his public blow-up with the president and wrote 'VOX POPULI VOX DEI 80% voted for a new party.' Earlier on Monday, Musk had attacked the GOP and the spending bill, tweeting: 'It is obvious with the insane spending of this bill, which increases the debt ceiling by a record FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS that we live in a one-party country – the PORKY PIG PARTY!!' This is a developing story.
