The news comes after a potential name for the new model was revealed with the company filing for a trademark on " Fenomeno" earlier this year.

Lamborghini is said to have entered a new era with the recently revealed Temerario and Reveulto.
The two already released models are reportedly set to become the foundation for a range of one-off and limited-production variants.
Filing with the European Union Intellectual Property Office in April this year the firm hinted at a potential name for a new limited-production project in the works.
Lamborghini's filing for a trademark on the name "Fenomeno" is in its "opposition proceedings" which conclude on July 15.
It could be some time before the name is given to a product but Lamborghini might still surprise customers in the coming weeks.
A new limited-edition supercar has been confirmed to be in the works with Lamborghini set to reveal the motor at Monterey Car Week in August.
The brand says its new limited-edition model will "map out the future of Lamborghini super sports cars."
Select clients have reportedly already seen the model with it expected to be Lamborghini's most powerful car ever.
The new model is set to use Lamborghini's V-12 and just 29 examples of the motor are to be produced.
The new supercar will seemingly be named Fenomeno - which is Italian and Spanish for phenomenon.
Lambo owned by British pop star up for auction at huge price
Graphic representation submitted alongside the trademark filing shows the wordmark with styling similar to the brand's other supercars.
Horns appear on the F and O and the word is written in a slanted font.
Recently revealed supercars offered to consumers by the brand feature some pretty punchy engines.
The Revuelto features a 6.5-litre hybrid V-12 offering up a staggering 1,001 horsepower.
The Temerario boasts a twin turbo V-8 with three electric motors and delivers 920 horsepower.
To call a new model a phenomenon in comparison to 1,000 horsepower beasts like the Reveulto suggests the brand is cooking up something really special.
The teased new supercar is likely to boast even more impressive specs with the motor expected to be the brand's most powerful.
To achieve this the new supercar would need to beat out the Reveulto's staggering 1,001 horsepower which currently holds the record for the most powerful Lamborghini.

Bayer Leverkusen director reveals how Liverpool won the race for Florian Wirtz in record-breaking £116m move
A Bayer Leverkusen director has explained how Liverpool won the race to sign Florian Wirtz in a record-breaking deal. German Wirtz became the Reds' second signing of the summer transfer window when he put pen to paper on a deal back on June 20 in a move that could rise to up to £116million. That would surpass the current British transfer record, which is held by Chelsea from when they signed Moises Caicedo from Brighton for £115m two years ago. Liverpool, though, were prepared to splash the cash to get their man. The deal was completed after a saga that lasted a number of weeks, with sporting director Richard Hughes leading discussions with Leverkusen and Arne Slot selling Wirtz a vision of playing as an attacking midfielder. Now, though, fans have been given an insight into the deal from Leverkusen's point of view, with the German side holding out for their valuation before completing a deal. Speaking to BILD, sporting director Simon Rolfes detailed how Liverpool beat Manchester City and Bayern Munich to the 22-year-old's signature. 'Florian's requirement was that everyone be comfortable with the move,' he said. 'He told us, literally, that he hoped Bayer 04 would also be happy with the result. 'There wasn't a single moment (where we realised he wanted to leave), but rather a development. Our goal was to extend Florian's contract and keep him for at least another year. Gradually, we sensed that he was more interested in making a move. 'Starting in February and March, the discussions focused more on other clubs and other leagues. We always knew what he thought. We knew from the parents who they were talking to. The clubs from abroad also informed us, and they handled the matter in a highly professional and serious manner. 'In May, he told us that he had decided to join Liverpool. I believe he's a very good fit for Liverpool. The club has treated him very seriously. Florian was made to understand that they know exactly why they want him. This approach was a very important aspect of the overall package for him 'All the clubs that had contacted us in advance were clear about the region in which the transfer would take place. We only negotiated with Liverpool after Florian told us that was his preferred club. It was clear to me from the beginning of the negotiations that it would work out. Of course, everyone is fighting for their position, but it was always respectful. 'The people at both clubs know each other so well that a face-to-face meeting was not necessary. We handled the transaction over the phone, via email, and via video conference.' Heartbroken Liverpool players have, meanwhile, been sharing their tributes and memories of Diogo Jota after his death in a car accident at 28. Jota had been travelling in a car with his brother Andre, 26, who was also a footballer, when the vehicle went off road and the tragic news comes just two weeks after Jota married his long-term girlfriend Rute Cardoso in Porto. The tyre of his Lamborghini, reportedly a £150,000 Urus SUV, is said to have blown out while overtaking on the A-52 at Cernadilla near Zamora in northwestern Spain, close to the border with Portugal. The supercar came off the road, rolled and then burst into flames at around 12.35am, also igniting the surrounding vegetation. The emergency services were called but the brothers could not be saved. Darwin Nunez was the first of the Liverpool players to post, sharing a picture of him and Jota celebrating a goal at Anfield. The Uruguayan wrote: 'There are no words to comfort you for so much pain. I will always remember you with your smile, as a good teammate on and off the field. 'I send all my strength to your family, from where I am sure he will always be with you, especially your wife and three children. RIP Diogo and Andre.' Luis Diaz added a post to his Instagram story, with Jota holding up the shirt with Diaz on the back at the time the Colombian's father had been kidnapped.

Buttons Are Back: Ferrari Fixes Its Worst Interior Feature
View post: Amazon is selling a 'reliable' $70 wireless CarPlay adapter for just $40, and shoppers say it 'works flawlessly' View post: Amazon is selling a 'versatile' $86 cordless rotary tool kit for $30, and shoppers say it's a 'little powerhouse' The New Ferrari Marks a Return to Form There's a new Ferrari in town, and it's called the Amalfi. Continuing the automaker's penchant for naming sports cars with Italian landmarks, the Amalfi, which is the successor to the Roma, brings evolutionary styling and upgraded tech to the base-level Ferrari model. However, its most welcome feature is something refreshingly simple: proper physical, tactile buttons on the steering wheel. With the Amalfi's arrival, Ferrari has officially backtracked on one of its most criticized decisions – its insistence on using touch-sensitive controls on the steering wheel. Introduced on models like the SF90 and Roma, the system aimed to enhance modernity and performance, but instead left many owners fumbling through menus mid-drive or accidentally activating features while on a spirited drive. Admitting to a Design Mistake Speaking to Top Gear, Ferrari marketing boss Enrico Galliera explained the company's reasoning behind the haptic controls, and its subsequent reversal. 'Our philosophy is always 'hands on the wheel, eyes on the road.' But we were finding people were having too much time with their eyes also on the wheel. We listened to our customers,' he admitted. He added that while touch controls may be faster on a smartphone, the experience in a moving supercar proved far less intuitive. Galliera also acknowledged that Ferrari's HMI (human-machine interface) 'was probably too advanced and not 100 percent perfect in use.' The touch interface had been developed in pursuit of performance and speed, mirroring the ultra-fast SF90's hybrid system, but ultimately didn't match the needs of drivers in the real world. Now, Ferrari is 're-balancing, not changing' its design strategy. Design chief Flavio Manzoni seconded the move. 'Beauty is simplicity,' he told Top Gear, reinforcing the notion that elegance and usability can – and should – coexist in a Ferrari. Retrofit Available for Those Who Want It Best of all, the tactile steering wheel buttons are not a feature locked to the new Amalfi. According to Ferrari's product development chief Gianmaria Fulgenzi, several existing models – including the 296 GTB, Purosangue, SF90, and 12Cilindri – can be retrofitted with the new steering wheel setup. 'Yes, you can have it,' Fulgenzi told Top Gear. 'We don't even have to replace the whole wheel. Just the center.' The retrofit can be performed at any Ferrari dealer, and after a short test drive to verify calibration, drivers are good to go. It's a rare move for a brand like Ferrari to admit fault so directly, but one that's bound to earn goodwill from customers who've long wanted the brand's supercars to get back to just being great to drive. BMW M4 Power And Half A Miata's Weight: Meet The Ariel Atom 4RR
By signing up I agree to the Terms of Use and acknowledge that I have read the Privacy Policy . You may unsubscribe from email communication at anytime. New 4RR will have an outrageous power-to-weight ratio In a world where too many new cars try to be all things to all people, Ariel Motor Company and its lightweight, hopelessly impractical yet hyper-focused Atom sports car is a refreshing change. Conceived for no other reason than the unadulterated joy of driving, the Atom has found many fans over the last quarter of a century. Now, to celebrate 25 years of the Atom, the UK-based manufacturer has revealed the Atom 4RR. This ultimate edition is the most powerful Atom ever and is sure to turn every track day into a heart-pounding, sweaty-palmed experience. Even More Power Than Atom V8 Ariel Atom 4RR — Source: Ariel The 4RR uses a special version of Honda's 2.0-liter turbocharged VTEC four-cylinder engine found in the Civic Type R. In this form, it delivers a raucous 525 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. Improved oil and fuel systems, along with an array of internal alterations, have resulted in these extreme outputs. To put 525 horsepower into perspective, that's 2 hp more than the BMW M4 Competition xDrive, and the Bimmer has an extra liter of capacity and two more cylinders. Source: Ariel Built on the platform of the 4R, the 4RR will still adhere to the brand's lightweight philosophy. Further technical specifications, such as the 4RR's weight, will only be announced later in the year. However, we do know that the 4R weighs around 1,250 pounds, and there's no reason to assume the 4RR will be significantly heavier. For some perspective, that's roughly half the weight of a Mazda MX-5 Miata with the automatic transmission. A picture released of the new 4R shows off a cool yellow and black color scheme, along with the open cockpit, open wheels, and exposed suspension components we're used to seeing from the Atom. The front splitter looks straight off an F1 car, and there's also a tall rear wing to help with aerodynamics. 4RR Builds On Impressive Atom Lineage Ariel Atom 1 Ariel Atom 2 Ariel Atom 3 Autoblog Newsletter Autoblog brings you car news; expert reviews and exciting pictures and video. It used a Rover engine that made just 120 hp, a long way off the new 4RR's 525 horses. But the car's incredibly lithe body didn't require much power at all. Between 2003 and 2007, the Atom 2 used Honda power for the first time, with a supercharged version eventually producing 275 hp – and a distinctive whine. For 2007, the Atom 3 got a completely new chassis, body, and suspension, while its Honda engine made 300 hp in supercharged form. It was here that the limited Atom V8 arrived, too; it revved to 10,000 rpm and made 500 hp. Between 2012 and 2018, the Atom 3.5 received a new engine from the Type R, and the suspension was overhauled once more. The 3.5R made 367 hp and used a sequential gearbox. Ariel Atom 4 Ariel Atom 4R Ariel Atom V8 This set the scene for 2018's Atom 4. Still around now, every aspect of it was redesigned besides the pedals, steering wheel, and fuel filler cap. This model also received the latest Type R engine, and in so doing, became the first turbocharged Atom. Switchable ABS, traction, and launch control were added, but all driver aids could be disabled. In 2023, the Atom 4R raised the bar once more, this time with a 400-hp version of the Honda engine and a power-to-weight ratio of 600 hp per tonne. The 4RR makes one wonder how much power the little track monster can handle, but we're sure Atom isn't done with the Ariel yet. Source: Ariel About the Author Karl Furlong View Profile
