Euphoria drops first-look image of Season 3 as filming kicks off

Yahoo12-02-2025
HBO has shared a sneak peek image to confirm the news about the return of Euphoria Season 3. The teen drama recently began filming after facing long delays due to several factors, including the Hollywood strikes, busy schedules of the cast and creator Sam Levinson's work on other series.
After a 'deeply emotional' second season, as described by Zendaya, a first-look image from the upcoming continuation has been shared on Instagram. The post features Zendaya as the main character Rue Bennett.

The show will keep the majority of the core cast of famous faces, including Sydney Sweeney as Cassie, Jacob Elordi as Nate, Hunter Schafer as Jules and Alexa Demie as Maddy. Unfortunately, Storm Reid's character, Gia – Rue's younger sister- won't be joining the series this time, and neither will Barbie Ferreira's character Kat.
Regarding the plot, the new season will feature a time jump, with the teenage characters that fans have come to love no longer attending high school. This new approach is one of the reasons why creator Levinson was still 'working on it', as Case Bloys, content boss for HBO and Max, said in an interview with Variety.
'There's been a lot of back and forth… One of the issues I think that Sam is thinking about is that he doesn't want to have it in high school anymore. That's where it was set and what made sense then. So when you take it out of that, there's a lot of back and forth about where to set it and how far in the future to set it and all that stuff,' he added.
HBO has not announced a premiere date for Euphoria Season 3 yet. Nevertheless, despite speculation over whether the third season was ever going to happen given the deep differences in creative visions, rumours of Zendaya's frosty relationship with Levinson, and even the supposed possibility of removing Levinson from the production, the cameras seem to have started rolling.
No further details have been unveiled, with HBO keeping Euphoria's fans on the edge of their seats, waiting for the latest news to ensure they don't miss a thing.

Good Omens Season 3: Release date rumors, cast updates and what to expect next

By Aman Shukla Published on July 13, 2025, 19:00 IST Last updated July 13, 2025, 16:33 IST If you're anything like me, you've been counting down the days (or years!) for Good Omens Season 3 ever since that gut-punch of a Season 2 finale. The show, born from Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's brilliant novel, has us all hooked with its quirky humor, cosmic stakes, and the downright magical chemistry between Aziraphale and Crowley. So, what's next for our favorite angel-demon duo? Let's dive into the latest on the release date, cast, and what we can expect from the final chapter of this heavenly (and hellish) tale. When Can We Expect Good Omens Season 3? Alright, let's get the big question out of the way: when is Good Omens Season 3 dropping? Amazon Prime Video hasn't given us an official date yet, but there's enough chatter to piece together a rough timeline. Filming is set to kick off in January 2025 in Scotland, according to Doon Mackichan (our dear Archangel Michael) and some set leaks floating around. Here's the twist, though—Season 3 isn't a full season. It's a single, 90-minute episode, more like a movie to wrap things up. Why the change? Well, 2024 was a bumpy year for the show. Production hit a snag in September when allegations surfaced against Neil Gaiman, who's no longer involved in the project. Amazon decided to move forward with a streamlined finale to give fans closure. With filming starting early next year, I'm crossing my fingers for a release by late 2025, maybe around the holidays if we're lucky. Good Omens Season 3 Cast Updates The cast of Good Omens is like a warm hug, and thankfully, most of our favorites are returning to see this story through. Here's the scoop on who's confirmed and who we're hoping to see: Michael Sheen (Aziraphale) David Tennant (Crowley) Doon Mackichan (Archangel Michael) Derek Jacobi (Metatron) Jon Hamm (Gabriel) Miranda Richardson (Shax) Quelin Sepulveda (Muriel) Maggie Service and Nina Sosanya (Maggie and Nina) Could we see others, like Adam Young (Sam Taylor Buck), Anathema Device (Adria Arjona), or even Frances McDormand as God's voice? It's possible, but nothing's confirmed. Gaiman once teased that 'some people you love' will return, so I'm keeping my hopes up for surprises. One big change behind the scenes: director Douglas Mackinnon, who gave us the vibe of Seasons 1 and 2, won't be back. A new writer is stepping in to finish the script, which has me curious about the tone. What to expect in Good Omens Season 3? If Season 2 was a cozy, romantic detour, Season 3 is gearing up to bring back the end-of-the-world stakes from Season 1. The finale picks up after that scene—you know, the one where Aziraphale and Crowley broke our hearts by parting ways. Aziraphale's now in Heaven, running the show, while Crowley's probably sulking with a bottle of wine somewhere. According to Gaiman, the story comes from a chat he had with Pratchett decades ago about 'what happens next,' so it's rooted in their original vision. Expect a chaotic second stab at Armageddon, with Heaven and Hell meddling in ways only they can. Metatron's scheming is sure to be central, and there's buzz about the Second Coming playing a role—maybe even a cameo from Jesus Christ, who popped up briefly in Season 1. The big question is whether Aziraphale and Crowley can patch things up. Tennant's 'more kisses' comment has me hopeful for a resolution to their slow-burn romance, but Maggie Service praised Season 2's realistic ending, so I'm bracing for something bittersweet yet authentic. The 90-minute format has me a bit nervous—can they wrap up this epic story in one episode? But with Sheen and Tennant at the helm, I trust it'll be packed with humor, heart, and just enough weirdness to feel like Good Omens . Rosie O'Donnell Responds as Trump Threatens Her Citizenship

Comedian and actor Rosie O'Donnell has responded to President Donald Trump's threat to have her U.S. citizenship revoked, the latest move in a yearslong back-and-forth between the two New York-born former TV stars. Taking to her Instagram on Saturday, hours after Trump's threat, O'Donnell uploaded a picture of the U.S. President with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Trump socialised with Epstein decades ago and is now embroiled in a charged public discourse as people demand for his Administration to release the full Epstein files, something he seemed inclined to do during his campaign. Captioning the pointed image, O'Donnell, who is currently living in Ireland and seeking Irish citizenship through her grandparents' roots, said: 'I'm everything you fear. A loud woman, a queer woman, a mother who tells the truth, an American who got out of the country before you set it ablaze. You are everything that is wrong with America—and I'm everything you hate about what's still right with it.' 'You want to revoke my citizenship? Go ahead and try, King Joffrey with a tangerine spray tan,' concluded O'Donnell, making reference to the villainous child-king from the hit HBO series Game of Thrones. O'Donnell commented further during an appearance on the Sunday with Miriam show on Ireland's RTÉ Radio 1. "I reacted with a little post that I jotted off in five minutes, and that's been getting a lot of attention online," she said, reiterating her response to Trump's threat. "I am very proud to be opposed to every single thing he says and does and represents." Read More: White House Speaks Out Amid Backlash Over Meme of Trump as Superman On Saturday, Trump had told his more than 10 million followers on Truth Social that he was giving 'serious consideration' to stripping O'Donnell of her citizenship, claiming she 'is not in the best interests' of the U.S. 'She is a threat to humanity and should remain in the wonderful country of Ireland, if they want her,' the U.S. President said. Trump's threat comes as his Administration continues its attempt to rollback birthright citizenship law. On Thursday, a federal judge placed a temporary nationwide block on Trump's order ending birthright citizenship. Experts argue that a 1967 Supreme Court ruling means that the U.S. government does not have the ability to revoke the citizenship of a native-born U.S. citizen under the fourteenth amendment. Just recently, Trump has threatened to revoke the U.S. citizenship of his one-time ally and now key critic, Elon Musk, who was born in South Africa, and the Democratic New York City mayoral candidate, Zohran Mamdani, who was born in Uganda. However, his threat against O'Donnell is particularly loaded, as the pair share a fraught history that goes back years. O'Donnell notably criticized Trump in 2006 during an episode of the round-table talk show The View, of which she was a long-time panelist. O'Donnell mocked Trump in relation to a press conference he appeared in for the Miss USA contest, which he co-owned at the time. Meanwhile, Trump lashed out in an episode of The Apprentice at a boardroom meeting, during which he called O'Donnell 'disgusting' multiple times. During his 2016 presidential campaign, Trump brought up the comedian. In a debate with his opponent, Hillary Clinton, he said: 'Rosie O'Donnell—I said very tough things to her, and I think everybody would agree that she deserves it and nobody feels sorry for her.' O'Donnell responded at the time, saying Trump "will never be President," in one post and calling him an 'orange an-s' in another. Meanwhile, O'Donnell's choice to post an image of Trump and Epstein comes at an interesting time. On Saturday night, Trump defended Attorney General Pam Bondi, who has come under fire for not releasing the Epstein files in full. There have long been calls to see a so-called "client list" supposedly belonging to Epstein. (Bondi's previous release of some files were heavily redacted and informed the public of little they had not learned before.)'What's going on with my 'boys' and, in some cases, 'gals?' They're all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We're on one team, MAGA, and I don't like what's happening. We have a PERFECT Administration, THE TALK OF THE WORLD, and 'selfish people' are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein. For years, it's Epstein, over and over again,' Trump said, encouraging people to move from the topic. 'One year ago our country was dead, now it's the hottest country anywhere in the world. Let's keep it that way, and not waste time and energy on Jeffrey Epstein, somebody that nobody cares about.' Trump's input comes amid backlash over the publication of a memo from the Justice Department and FBI, who conducted a review of the Epstein investigation. Per the memo, their findings concluded there is no evidence Epstein kept a 'client list' or was murdered. It also said "no credible evidence found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions." Read More: Where Things Stand With the Epstein Files Following Musk's Allegation Against Trump Trump's commentary about Epstein has been of high interest, especially since Musk, in a now-deleted social media post, alleged that Trump is listed in the files related to the late financier and alleged sex trafficker. 'That is the real reason they have not been made public,' Musk said in early June. He did not provide evidence pertaining to this. Trump's connection to Epstein dates back decades. In an interview with New York magazine in 2002, he said that Epstein was 'a lot of fun to be with.' 'It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side,' Trump told the reporter. In July 2019, NBC News' TODAY released video footage believed to be from 1992, which showed Trump hosting Epstein at his Mar-a-Lago estate. After Epstein's 2019 arrest on federal sex trafficking charges, Trump made an effort to distance himself. Speaking in the Oval Office in 2019, Trump said: 'I had a falling out with him [Epstein]. I haven't spoken to him in 15 years. I was not a fan of his, that I can tell you.'

This comes after the birth of their first child in July Hudgens and her husband Cole Tucker are expecting baby number two. The High School Musical actress and the baseball player shared the news with an Instagram post on July 12. The post featured a carousel of images of the couple posing outside. In the photos, Hudgens wore a matching boho two-piece. The white lace top was buttoned up from the neck down to the ribs. She left it open revealing her growing baby bump. She wore a matching white maxi skirt under the bump. She finished off her boho chic look with a few stacked brown and gold bangles and gold rings, and she wore her hair down in loose waves. As for Tucker, she posed behind his wife in a fresh white t-shirt and blue pants. 'Round two!!!!,' Hudgens captioned the post. Hudgens and Tucker met in 2021 during an online meditation session. 'Very random, yes. Zoom, you've got to love it," she later said to Entertainment Tonight. The pair got engaged in 2023 and tied the knot in Mexico the same year. In March, Hudgens revealed that she was pregnant with her first child while wearing a form-fitting black dress at the 2024 Oscars. In July 2024, Hudgens and Tucker welcomed their first child. The news was revealed after paparazzi snapped the couple leaving a hospital in Santa Monica with their newborn. Hudgens later addressed the 'disappointing' way the news was revealed on social media. "We're disappointed that our family's privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time due to the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media," she wrote in an Instagram story, adding, "Despite all of that, mom dad and baby are happy and healthy." Earlier this year, Hudgens opened up about becoming a mother on Instagram for Mother's Day. 'Becoming a mother has been the hardest, most exhausting but also incredibly fulfilling and joyous chapter of my life,' she wrote. 'I couldn't be more grateful for my little family. Happy Mother's Day to all who've done their time or are in the grind. The power mamas hold is truly supernatural and I admire us all 🥰❤️💪🏽.' Read the original article on InStyle
