The 25-year-old had made the move from KAA Gent to Lille in 2020 for €27m, but then allowed his contract to run down on June 30.
Although he is a free agent, this was by no means a cost-free transfer, because there were huge sums for the commission of his representatives.
He has a remarkable record at international level with Canada, scoring 36 goals with 20 assists in just 67 senior caps for his country.
Last season, David found the net 25 times with 12 assists in 49 competitive games for LOSC between Ligue 1, the Champions League and Coupe de France.

(Photo by) Inter Milan have reportedly earmarked Kean as a potential replacement in the event of a surprise departure by Marcus Thuram. Meanwhile, Napoli are also eyeing the 25-year-old up. Advertisement The Partenopei are therefore working to strengthen their Serie A title-winning squad this summer. A backup to Romelu Lukaku in attack would be one of the priorities. The fact that Moise Kean has a €52 million release clause at Fiorentina could make him more attainable. However, according to the Gazzetta, it would be unlikely that either Inter or Napoli would offer that much in order to trigger the clause.

Report – Inter Milan Line Up Genoa Star As Alternative Target To Atalanta Midfielder
Report – Inter Milan Line Up Genoa Star As Alternative Target To Atalanta Midfielder Inter Milan have lined up Genoa midfielder Morten Frendrup as an alternative target to Atalanta's Ederson this summer. This according to today's print edition of Milan-based newspaper Il Messaggero, via FCInter1908. Advertisement Inter Milan's interest in Ederson is clear. The Brazilian is reportedly the Nerazzurri's top target to replace Hakan Calhanoglu in the event that the 31-year-old leaves this summer. However, it is far from clear that Inter will be able to afford a move for Ederson. Reportedly, Atalanta want a fee of at least €60 million for the 25-year-old. That would require Inter to make significant sales in order to finance a deal.
