Target launches $80 genuine suede leather bag collection
An $80 bag from Target is quickly becoming a favourite among shoppers, offering genuine suede leather at a fraction of the price of many luxury alternatives.
Suede is all the rage currently this winter in Australia, from suede loafers to suede bomber jackets, but finding genuine leather ones is a costly affair.
For example, the Sienna Brown Suede bag from Vestirsi retails for $349, and the Tony Bianco Mily Espresso Suede Tote costs $249, which is why when Target dropped their own version of the suede over-the-shoulder bag, TikTokers lost their minds.
TikToker can't believe her find
One user, Emma Vosti, took to TikTok to rave about the find, saying: 'You will not believe what I got at Target yesterday. You just won't'.
'It came in its own dust bag,' she explained in awe as she pulled out the Chocolate Premium Suede Leather Slouch Shoulder Bag.
She particularly loved all the small details that gave the bag a luxe touch.
'It's got lining on the bottom. It's a beautiful colour. It's got the stitching detail. Are you kidding me?' she raved, before showing a tag inside the bag that said 'suede leather'.
The comments echoed her excitement, with one person saying they even left work early to go buy it.
Others described it as 'beautiful' and 'chic'.
Another simply said 'sold'.
One fan admitted, 'I didn't realise Target did leather bags'.
Influencer Steph Claire Smith even joined in on the hype and declared: 'That's a win'.
Another commenter revealed, 'I truly have never been so quickly influenced. Bought it but have to find a way to drive to the town three hours away'.
'What I'm shocked!!!' said someone else.
'Going right now,' wrote another shopper.

Target's new suede range
Carrie Kirkman, General Manager of Merchandise at Target Australia, told news.com.au: 'At Target, we're passionate about giving our customers access to on-trend, high-quality pieces that are effortless and elevated – but importantly also affordable.
'Our new range of suede bags delivers on all fronts – it's made from genuine leather with that soft, velvety texture everyone loves, and is available in a fresh seasonal palette.'
She said the first drop of bags is still arriving in stores across the country and landing online next week, but she's loving seeing the hype online already.
'It's been great to see the early response from our social media community. My personal favourite is the Suede Leather Slouch Shoulder Bag – it instantly elevates any look and, at just $80 for genuine suede, is at an incredible price point,' she said.

What really caused backlash following a video of woman's feet on a plane
A mum is in hot water after choosing to toe the line, instead of confronting a bare foot bandit during a flight with her daughter. A video she posted to TikTok has gone viral after she filmed her daughter seated beside a stranger who had their bare, dirty feet propped up on the chair between them. We're talking overgrown toenails, misshapen toes, and dry skin so crusty it's begging for a PedEgg intervention. The clip has racked up more than 10 million views and sparked plenty of opinions in the comment section. 'You should have said something' It's set to the trending 'Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday' sound, a popular track used to poke fun at holiday fails. People have slammed the unsavoury passenger behaviour. 'That's so rude,' one person writes. Not ideal, if you ask me. 'Maybe she literally didn't think of that!' Commenters on the post agreed that the woman had gone too far, suggesting that the person behind contact a flight attendant to remove it. 'Flight attendants would make her remove it. Just call them,' said one person. 'Aside from the inconvenience of not being able to use the tray table, it is also covering up the safety instructions. That's enough of a reason for the flight attendants to get her to remove the bag,' another agreed. 'I'd just ask her to remove it because I can't open my tray anymore. Maybe she literally didn't think of that. If that doesn't work, I'd tell a flight assistant to please take care of it,' said a third, more sympathetically. 'How is this allowed?' However, others had a more direct - though debatable less confrontational - approach. 'Or…. it's a plastic bag just tear out the back,' said one person. 'You absolutely can open it, ripping a plastic bag is easy,' another commenter agreed. 'How is this allowed? I would just rip it open from the back,' said a third. 'I would honestly try to move the plastic upwards just enough to uncover the tray. If that doesn't work, I'm ripping the shit out of it. Some people really have no consideration for others,' another said.

Update on Harry, Meghan's TV plans after end of Netflix deal: ‘Coming soon'
Don't miss out on the headlines from Royals. Followed categories will be added to My News. IN LONDON Prince Harry and Meghan are poised to sign a new deal with Netflix following the end of their previous multi-year, multimillion dollar contract. It's been widely reported this week that, as expected, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's five-year agreement with the streaming service, which was signed in 2020, will expire in the coming months. However, according to Page Six, they're now set to ink a new 'first-look' contract with Netflix, similar to the type Barack and Michelle Obama have with the company. A 'first-look' deal generally means that there is an agreement where Netflix is granted exclusive rights to preview and potentially purchase a project before it's shopped around elsewhere. A source also revealed that 'there are more TV projects coming soon with both the duke and duchess', while the second season of Meghan's show, With Love, Meghan, is still on track to be released in September. Season two of With Love, Meghan is coming in September. Picture: Netflix Page Six also spoke to industry sources, who confirmed that Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos is still on good terms with Harry and Meghan and continues to support them. The news that the Sussexes' Netflix deal was ending came just days after the streaming giant released its semi-annual report, 'What We Watched', which ranked With Love, Meghan in 383rd place (out of 7,500) with a total of 5.3 million views. The series outperformed other shows in its category, including The Great British Bake Off, Chef's Table and the most recent season of Queer Eye. They're reportedly entering into a new 'first-look' deal. Picture:for TIME It comes as Meghan is reportedly hitting pause on her Confessions of a Female Founder podcast in order to focus on her lifestyle range, As Ever, according to Page Six. Both product drops this year have seen everything quickly sell out within hours. 'As a growing business, As Ever is continuing to explore growth opportunities that feel aligned with the brand's core values and quality standards,' a source told the publication. 'The brand continues to evolve with new products that align with her vision for quality lifestyle goods at accessible price points.' The couple's 2022 Netflix series, Harry & Meghan, was a massive ratings hit. Picture: Netflix Meanwhile, speculation that Harry and Meghan were considering moving back to the UK in some capacity following a recent 'royal peace summit' were firmly denied recently. Earlier this month, the Duke of Sussex's chief of staff and communications director, Meredith Maines, his UK spokesman, and the King's communications secretary, Tobyn Andrae, held a private meeting in London, reportedly to discuss the rift between the two parties. Tensions had first escalated when Harry and Meghan moved in 2020 to the US, where they are now based, and began to open up about the issues they'd faced during their time working within the monarchy. Having now taken that first concrete step toward reconciliation, rumours have been rife that the Sussexes are eyeing off some form of return to Harry's home country – but a source told US magazine People that they have no intention of leaving Montecito. Instead, the recent chat has been viewed as a potential reopening of the lines of communication between the duke and the King, who have been estranged in recent years. 'It was a good first step,' the insider said. 'It is always better to be talking.' Originally published as Update on Harry, Meghan's TV plans after end of Netflix deal: 'Coming soon'
