‘Most powerful hair growth supplement' makes shoppers' hair ‘thicker and healthier'

Daily Mirror29-04-2025
This hair growth supplement claims to be the 'most powerful on the market' – and shoppers have been impressed with its results too, reporting 'noticable improvements in thickness'
According to Google Trends, 'hair loss' is the top searched beauty topic in 2025 so far, with 'female hair loss' searched 125% more than 'male hair loss'. With it clearly a common concern, nowadays there are a number of supplements, shampoos and topical products promising thicker, longer, stronger hair – including these capsules that have users "genuinely surprised at how impressive [the] results are".
Hairburst's Advanced+ Hair Formula is called by the brand "the most powerful hair growth supplement on the market" with, they claim, visible results in just 90 days. Four capsules should be taken each day, and each contains a blend of smart, tried-and-tested ingredients to "tackle thinning, extend the growth phase, and boost overall hair density".
A one month's supple costs £55.99, although Hairburst recommends taking them for at least three months to see results – and you can save money when buying three months' worth too, costing £133.99 instead of £167.97. And the majority of shoppers say they saw impressive results in this time.
"By the end of the third month, the results became more noticeable," one person wrote on the Hairburst website. " My hair was visibly thicker and healthier. The amount of hair fall reduced significantly, and my hair had a natural shine that wasn't there before. I also noticed that my nails seemed stronger, which was an unexpected bonus!"
"I have taken the Advanced+ vitamins for just over three months and my hair has improved so much!" another agreed. "I have been going through a lot of stress so noticed hair loss and thought I'd give these a go as they came up on my Facebook! My hair is noticeably thicker and stronger, really pleased, I'm looking forward to continuing to improve my results!"
"Advanced+ has changed my hair life!" wrote a third person. " I now have thick, long and healthy hair and it's all down to this product. It's so easy to take and I couldn't recommend it enough."
Not everyone found taking the four large capsules every day so easy, however. One person wrote that "you need to take 4 a day, which is a lot more pills and they taste revolting!" If you too struggle with swallowing pills, you might instead prefer to take Hairburst's Chewable Hair Vitamins, priced from £22.99, which have hundreds of five star reviews.
Another potential solution for hair loss and thinning is using growth serums on the scalp. Champo Pitta Growth Serum, £34, is a popular one, with 90% of users reporting less hair loss. UKLASH Hair Growth Serum, £40, is another great option, and ideal for anyone who prefers a more watery formula than an oil.

Getting thicker, healthier hair is a concern for men and women - and this serum is said to provide desired results. The desire for thick, long hair is a common one for both men and women. However, with an overwhelming amount of information on social media, it can be challenging to figure out what actually works and is worth buying. To save shoppers both time and money, one beauty product possibly worth investing in is the grüum Hair Density Serum (30ml), said to leave hair "thicker" and "healthier" - and all for a budget price. Costing just £13, this hair serum has been thoroughly impressing Amazon shoppers who have nabbed it and found that it does provide them with the benefits they were hoping to achieve. This vegan -friendly hair thickening serum combines rosemary oil, avocado oil, and Provitamin B5 to deeply moisturise and fortify hair strands. It aims to promote thicker, healthier-looking hair by nourishing the scalp and enhancing hair texture, reports the Express. Infused with caffeine, it supports follicle activity by blocking DHT and boosting nutrient absorption, thereby reducing thinning over time. The serum also incorporates green tea extract and soothing botanical oils to calm sensitive scalps and foster a healthy environment for hair growth. grüum Hair Density Serum, 30ml £13 Amazon Buy here Product Description Suitable for all hair types, the brand claims this treatment stimulates natural follicle regeneration. Free from parabens, sulfates, and harsh chemicals, while also being cruelty-free, it's an environmentally friendly and clean choice. For those seeking alternatives, the market offers a variety of options. Shoppers might consider the Champo Pitta Growth Serum (50ml) for £46, which is designed for fine hair, aims to tackle the hair loss hormone DHT to slow shedding and includes peptide amino acids to help curb excessive hair fall. Another choice could be the UKHAIR Hair Growth Serum (50ml) for £40 available at Boots, featuring a light, non-greasy formula with scientifically backed active ingredients that work to minimise breakage and lessen hair loss. The grüum hair serum has earned an impressive 4.1 out of five stars based on multiple Amazon reviews, with shoppers saying that it is "brilliant" and that they have "noticed less hair shedding." A customer commented: "I've noticed less hair shedding, and my hair feels healthier and fuller than ever before. The serum is a brilliant complement to the Grüum hair growth range, and I can confidently recommend it." Another remarked: "Excellent quality, variety of ingredients." However, not all feedback was positive, particularly from those with thinner hair, as one individual noted: "Left very thin and greasy hair." Beauty deal of the week YSL Black Opium remains an iconic perfume - and we know where to bag the newest edition for its cheapest price. The YSL BLack Opium Le Parfum offers a more vanilla-heavy fragrance that has been hailed as "intoxicating" in reviews, with a 50ml now half-price at Boots after being dropped from £115 to £57.50. Massive saving aside, it's the cheapest it can be bought for at the moment, as rival retailers Superdrug, Lookfantastic and The Perfume Shop still stock it at full-price. This interpretation of the iconic perfume was only launched in 2022, with its original floral gourmand fragrance still offering its famed notes that include pear accord, green mandarin, orange flower petals, jasmine sambac and cinnamon. However, the iconic coffee accord has been twisted with four different, yet still complimentary, notes of vanilla, which is said to be its most important ingredient, to create an "unexpected smoothness, with uncompromising intensity." Meanwhile, the unique glossy bottle that has been crafted from a precious black stone, with its dazzling glitter emblem at the heart, eludes to the luxuriousness of the fragrance contained within. As for the YSL Black Opium Le Parfum, Boots shoppers wanting to take advantage of the half-price discount will be glad to hear it has amassed a 4.7 rating from thousands of customers who say it "lasts all day" and "literally turns heads" when it is worn. One five-star review read: "I love the fragrance. I used a lot the first time, not realising how intense it was. It lasts all day and continues to smell great. I literally turn heads when I wear it." Don't miss Boots' half-price discount on the YSL Black Opium Le Parfum (50ml) that is now £57.50, down from £115. And another voiced a concern: "It can weigh down finer hair." However, more did report a positive experience with the serum. Another satisfied shopper wrote: "I've tried a lot of other products like this, and this one is great value for money considering the quality of the ingredients. "Unlike other low quality products, the rosemary oil works as I'd expect for soothing the scalp - thus can help with blood flow and hair growth benefits as per the science. Will continue using over time as part of my routine, can't wait to see the results!" Shoppers can pick up the grüum Hair Density Serum (30ml) for £13 on Amazon.
