Three Doors Down lead singer Brad Arnold has revealed he's been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer.

That's when Arnold 'got the diagnosis that I had clear cell renal carcinoma that had metastasized into my lung. And that's stage 4, and that's not real good.'
Despite the diagnosis, the 'Kryptonite' singer said he has 'no fear' going into treatment as he turns to his faith. 'We serve a mighty God, and he can overcome anything. So I have no fear. I really, sincerely am not scared of it at all, but it is going to force us to cancel our tour this summer and we're sorry for that,' he said. 'And I'd love it if you lift me up in prayer every chance you get.'
Clear cell renal cell carcinoma is the most common type of kidney cancer in adults, making up about 80 percent of all renal cell carcinoma cases, according to the National Cancer Institute.
Arnold also added in the post's caption, 'Thank you for all the memories so far. Now, I believe 'ITS NOT MY TIME' is really my song. This'll be a battle so we need our prayers warriors! Thank y'all for being the best fans in the world. We love y'all! Brad.'
In addition to Arnold, the rock band 3 Doors Down is currently comprised of members Chris Henderson, Greg Upchurch, Chet Roberts and Justin Biltonen. The group is most known for their songs 'Kryptonite,' 'When I'm Gone,' 'Here Without You,' 'Let Me Go' and 'It's Not My Time,' the latter of which the lead singer references in the Instagram video.

Two Iconic Beachfront Malibu Restaurants Are Reopening After the Palisades Fire

Malibu beachfront restaurant Gladstones is partially reopening for the first time since the Palisades Fire. The restaurant will open its outdoor deck on July 4, while the interior remains closed for renovations due to the damage caused by the fire. Gladstones' outdoor deck has an updated look courtesy of architect Stephen Francis Jones and features a new mural from artist Jonas Never. When the deck reopens, it will serve well-known classics like fish tacos, ceviche, lobster rolls, and cocktails. The interior of Gladstones is slated to open in early 2026. Throughout July, the restaurant will offer 50 percent off food and drinks for Malibu and Palisades residents, as well as first responders. Both Duke's and Gladstones were in the path of the Palisades fire, though their main structures remained standing. Reopenings in the area were further delayed after Pacific Coast Highway was temporarily closed again due to mudslides in April. In recent months, businesses along the heavily trafficked coastline stretch have reopened, but clean-up efforts remain ongoing. After 12 years, chef Osamu Fujita will hand over the reins at Beverly Hills' Nozawa Bar. June 28 will be Fujita's last service, after which chef Jay Sada will take over the kitchen. According to SF Gate, Sada was a recommendation from Nozawa Bar founder Kazunori Nozawa himself; the pair have known each other since meeting in Japan in 2001. Tim Burton-esque bar Beetle House may be shuttering its Hollywood location at the end of July. In a post on Instagram, the bar explained its recent financial struggles due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 2025 fires, and current immigration raids. The post also alleges that an investor pulled out with their $500,000, and that a manager stole $60,000 from the business before disappearing. Beetle House has set up a GoFundMe to help keep the doors open. Tien Nguyen, one of the Los Angeles Public Library's (LAPL) Creators in Residence, offers an inside look at one of the library's special collections — a menu archive that was started in the 1980s. The archive currently contains over 17,000 menus. SF Gate reports that Montecito has some new stars in town, and it's not just Harry and Meghan. The Santa Barbara suburb has seen a recent influx of restaurants like Bar Lou and Clark's Oyster Bar open, bringing new dining options to what was once a quiet town. Most recently, Santa Barbara pizzeria Bettina expanded into Montecito with Tina's Pizza. As Fairfax District restaurant Genghis Cohen continues to operate from its temporary home, offering takeout and delivery at 448 N. Fairfax after vacating its 42-year-old space, it has released chic branded sweatshirts and pants. Their new dining room should be available soon, but until then, pick up a hot piece of merch here. ‘Cobra Kai' Actress Breaks Silence After Allegedly Being Bit by Co-Star

Alicia Hannah-Kim is speaking out after she was reportedly bit by her Cobra Kai co-star Martin Kove during a fan convention in Washington last weekend. The actress, 37, shared an Instagram video Sunday, June 29 in which she thanked "everyone who has reached out to me in the past week." "I know that there's a lot going on in the world right now so I'm going to keep this brief," Hannah-Kim said. "I was really enjoying my time at Summer Con. I love meeting you guys in real life." "But as you can see, this was a serious incident," she continued. "No one wants to be attacked at work, or anywhere really. And I don't think anybody would think this is normal or warranted or acceptable." Hannah-Kim also said, "I just think that when you are confronted with something like this, it's good to stand up for yourself. It's an important choice to make. I think it's the good choice to make." She also made clear that her altercation with Kove does not "represent" her otherwise positive experience working on Cobra Kai. "I think everybody could tell that it's a really great vibe and a great cast and everybody else is delightful," she said. "So I don't want this to affect your love for the show and feel free to love on it as hard as you want. I just wanted to come on here, say thank you to everybody, and just clear it up and move on." Hannah-Kim's statement comes a week after the alleged incident occurred. According to a report from the Puyallup Police Department obtained by TMZ, the 78-year-old actor was accused by Hannah-Kim of biting her so hard on her arm he nearly drew blood. Hannah-Kim reportedly told a police officer working at the event that Kove grabbed her arm and bit down completely unprovoked after she passed by and said hello. The actress chose not the press charges, but officers allegedly ordered Kove to leave the venue immediately. The actor reportedly apologized in front of police officers at the scene and again via a statement to the press. "I deeply regret and apologize for my actions regarding the incident with Alicia [Hannah-Kim], a genuinely kind and wonderful person who didn't deserve to be put in this position," Kove said in a statement provided to Deadline. "I've always respected her and considered her a highly professional and talented co-worker on Cobra Kai. I was being playful in the moment but went too far and there is absolutely no excuse for my behavior. I regret my actions for which I take full responsibility for what I did, and again I apologize to her and her husband. I'm committed to learning from this and it will never happen again." Kim Kardashian talks 'magical' scene from Lauren Sánchez, Jeff Bezos wedding

The "wedding of the century" has wrapped, and Kim Kardashian couldn't be more in awe. The reality star and Skims founder gushed about the nuptials between her friend Lauren Sánchez Bezos and husband Jeff Bezos on Friday, June 27, taking to her Instagram story to congratulate the newlyweds. "What a beautiful bride you are," Kardashian wrote, tagging Sánchez Bezos, the following day. "We all cried watching you walk down the (aisle) in pure bliss!" Kardashian also revealed that the wedding venue, located on the small island of San Giorgio across the water from St. Mark's Square, was set in a "magical" forest. "The love we all felt in the room is what we will never forget and why we all love and support you both so much," she added. "Forever rooting for the happiest couple! You deserve it all!" The billionaire Amazon founder and award-winning TV journalist tied the knot Friday, June 27, in an extraordinarily lavish Venice wedding, after multiple days of star-studded nuptial events. Photographers spotted A-list guests on the way to the ceremony, including Kardashian and sister Khloé Kardashian, their youngest sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner and family matriarch Kris Jenner; Oprah Winfrey and friend Gayle King; model Brooks Nader; Leonardo DiCaprio and his model girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti; Bezos' fellow billionaire Bill Gates; Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner; Tom Brady; and Orlando Bloom. Vogue revealed that of the 200 guests, around 70 are the duo's family members: "The wedding is extremely intimate," Sánchez Bezos said. Sánchez Bezos wore a Dolce & Gabbana silhouette dress with a high neck, adorned with 180 silk chiffon-covered priest buttons paired with a tulle-and-lace veil, inspired by a similar dress that iconic Italian actress Sophia Loren wore in the 1958 film "Houseboat," according to a Vogue magazine exclusive. The casually clad newlyweds were later spotted on a boat leaving the Aman hotel in Venice on Sunday, June 29, after a final night of partying capped the three-day wedding extravaganza. The couple smiled and waved to photographers as they exited. Contributing: Reuters
