Political leaders demand apology over misuse of sacred song
Political leader and TTD board member Banuprakash Reddy condemned the use of the 'Srinivasa Govinda' lyrics, demanding the song be removed immediately and that the makers offer a public apology. He also warned that a defamation case claiming ₹100 crore in damages would be filed if the issue was not addressed. Following the uproar, the film's team reportedly removed the song before the film's theatrical release.
