Venus Williams shares a hairbrush with her dog.
The 44-year-old tennis legend travels everywhere with her beloved Havanese Harry and while she always carries a brush for her "super fragile" curls, she's been known to whip it out to comb out some tangles from her pet pooch too.
Discussing what she always has in her bag, she told Us Weekly magazine: 'My hair's super fragile, so this is my go-to brush — it just helps those curls bounce. Harry has curly hair too, so every now and then I have to use my brush on him — then we have to get a new one!'
Harry often travels in Venus' handbag alongside the brush.
Asked about the most important item she keeps in her bag, Venus laughed: 'It's my boy Harold. Harry is 18 years old and comes everywhere with me.
"He hates tennis balls, but I know he loves me.'
Because she usually has her hands full with Harry, Venus is practical and opts for a mini phone carrier and wallet combo.
She said: 'I'm always carrying my dog, so my purse needs to be attached to my phone.
'This one's so cute. It's perfect for parties, easy for airports, and easy if you're on the go.'
The sportswoman never leaves home without a supply of vitamins, but has to stop herself from eating chewable Vitamin C like sweets.
She said of her craft box of supplements: 'You got the staples like Vitamin C, then I have lots of enzymes, probiotics, and all the other vitamins and minerals. I don't go anywhere without this.'
"This [chewy vitamin C] is one of my favourites. I have to be careful because I'll just keep eating these because they taste great.'
Venus previously admitted her dog is her "life", even though she hadn't initially planned to get a pet.
She told People magazine: "I'm a passionate pet owner, and my dog is my life. He is the focus of my life. I love the little guy.
"I had not planned on getting a dog. And I just saw this dog one day, and I called my sister and said, 'What should I do? I like this dog.' And she said, 'Get him. I love him already.' And so it was the best decision and best advice I ever got."

Usher and DJ Cassidy to perform at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's star-studded wedding after-party in Venice
A major music star is set to headline the final celebration for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's lavish wedding weekend in Venice, Italy, capping off days of festivities with a high-energy dance party. The couple, who tied the knot in a black-tie ceremony on Friday, June 27, have lined up Usher and DJ Cassidy to perform at their last big bash on Saturday night, June 28, according to a source speaking to People Magazine. 'It's the culmination, the final big party,' the source told People, noting that the newlyweds wanted a night centred around music to send off their guests after a packed week of celebrations. 'Tonight is all about the music. It's the culmination, the final big party,' the source said. 'First night was dinner, second was the ceremony with Andrea Bocelli's son performing, and tonight's the full-on dance floor.' Cassidy, known for his star-studded party sets, has previously performed at events for Oprah, Kris Jenner, and Kourtney Kardashian, making him a favourite for the couple. Usher, another close friend, will also take the stage for the night's entertainment. The wedding festivities have drawn a who's who of celebrity guests, including Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardashian, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Tom Brady. The celebrations began earlier in the week with a welcome party featuring gourmet Italian fare, followed by a ceremony serenaded by Matteo Bocelli, and now culminate with a dance party for the ages. Despite concerns from some locals about disruptions, a source told People Magazine that Venice 'is still running as normal' even with the influx of high-profile visitors. The three-day gala, estimated to cost $US50 million ($A76 million). For days, members of the 'No Space for Bezos' movement have been trying to spoil the party, hanging anti-Bezos banners on the iconic Rialto Bridge and laying out a huge canvas in central Saint Mark's Square telling the tech-tycoon to pay more taxes. While some residents and activists see Bezos' extravaganza as a symbol of inequality and arrogance, Venice's businesses and the city authorities have welcomed the event, claiming a major boost for the local economy. 'Those who protest are in contradiction with the history of Venice, which is a history of relations, contacts and business,' the city's mayor Luigi Brugnaro told Reuters in an interview. 'Bezos embodies the Venetian mentality, he is more Venetian than the protesters,' said the mayor, adding that he hoped Bezos, who donated 3 million euros ($A5.4 million) to local institutions, would return to the city to do business. Brugnaro said Bezos had attached no conditions to holding his wedding celebrations in Venice, and City Hall had only learned about his donations after they had already been made. Bezos, Amazon's executive chair, became engaged to Sanchez in 2023, four years after the collapse of his 25-year marriage to MacKenzie Scott.

Scott Porter admits Ginny and Georgia success surpassed expectations
Scott Porter has been surprised by the success of Ginny and Georgia. The 45-year-old actor has played Mayor Paul Randolph in the hit Netflix series since 2021, and he admits that the show has surpassed his own expectations. Asked about the show's long-term future, Scott told Us Weekly: "Our creator, Sarah [Lampert], is an infinite well of stories. I'm sure we could spin this thing for an awful long time. "And it's up to Netflix on whether or not we continue on. But, let me just say to our viewers, thank you so much for tuning in over these first three seasons. We never expected the show to be a hit the way that it is — and it's all because of you all. So thank you." The show - which follows a young single mother who tries to run away from her past - has already been renewed for a fourth season, and Scott still loves working on Ginny and Georgia. He shared: "I trust [the writers]. They are mapping out a show that's unlike anything I've ever been on before. The twists, the turns, the cliffhangers and it works. "So these scenes, my No. 1 word for this season and for me filling the shoes of Paul is 'intimidating.' I was intimidated with some of the stuff they presented me with and I wasn't sure if I could keep up with our two leads who were so incredible. "When they're asking Paul to reach these emotional depths, falling apart in front of our eyes and letting a little bit of his inner darkness out, I was intimidated." Scott has also revealed his hopes for his own character in season four. The actor said: "There's parts of Paul we still don't understand and we haven't seen. So his resilience and how he rebounds from this in season four, I'd love to see some of that. I'd love to see a little bit of the old Paul. "We've heard how good he is at his job. He was elected mayor before Georgia ever walked into his life. I'd love to see that fight, that wit, that charm come back a little bit in season four."
