The actor added that Athiya frequently scolds him for answering contentious questions in interviews. He stated that she monitors all of his media interactions and tells him not to say anything that could lead to trouble.
In an interview with Zoom, Suniel Shetty shared, 'I avoid controversial questions during promotional activities. I'm the kind of person who sometimes wants to answer, and then I mess up. And then I have Athiya at home saying, 'Papa, why did you talk? Just say no comment!' She keeps reminding me not to say anything that could get us into trouble the next day. She tracks all my interviews, and honestly, that's the only person I fear. The best thing for a man to have is a baby girl in his life."

Urvashi Rautela Questions National Award Jury For Ullozhukku: 'It's Not A Pension...'
Last Updated: At 56, Urvashi won Best Supporting Actress at the 71st National Film Awards for Ullozhukku but questioned the jury's decision, urging transparency as she played a central role. At 56, veteran actor Urvashi clinched the Best Supporting Actress award at the 71st National Film Awards for her performance as Leelamma in Ullozhukku, directed by Christo Tomy. While the honour adds another feather to her cap, Urvashi has publicly questioned the jury's decision-making process, specifically why she was recognised as a supporting actor despite playing a central role in the film alongside Parvathy Thiruvothu. In an interview with Manorama News, Urvashi didn't shy away from expressing her concerns. 'Is there any standard scale for acting? Or is it that after a certain age, this is all you'll get?" she asked pointedly. She went on to say, 'This is not pension money to be silently accepted. How are these decisions made? What criteria is followed?" The actress recalled a similar experience from 2006 when she won the Best Supporting Actress award for Achuvinte Amma, a film in which she also played the lead role. 'There were politics even then," she said, noting that she has always chosen meaningful roles over lobbying. Urvashi added that both she and Parvathy had been submitted in the Best Actress category for Ullozhukku, further questioning the jury's final verdict. 'These awards should make the recipient proud instead of being handed over with no explanation," she said. The actor has also urged Union Minister Suresh Gopi to look into the selection process and support greater transparency, especially for Malayalam cinema. Ullozhukku is a 2024 Malayalam drama film written and directed by Christo Tomy. Featuring powerhouse performers Urvashi and Parvathy Thiruvothu in lead roles, the film also includes Arjun Radhakrishnan, Alencier Ley Lopez, Prashanth Murali, and Jaya Kurup in pivotal supporting parts. Recognised for its compelling storytelling, Ullozhukku was officially selected for the International Competition: Fiction category at the 2nd Eikhoigi Imphal International Film Festival, held in 2025. While Ullozhukku won Best Malayalam Film, 2018 was awarded Best Production Design and Pookkaalam bagged Best Editing at this year's National Awards. Vijayaraghavan took home Best Supporting Actor. However, notable omissions like Prithviraj Sukumaran's performance in Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life led to growing discontent. Even Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan criticised the jury's decision to honour The Kerala Story. Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Allu Arjun Reacts To Viral America's Got Talent Act By Indian Group That Left Sofia Vergara Shaken
Allu Arjun reacts to B Unique Crew's viral AGT act, calling it 'Mind blowing.' The dance group's performance left judges stunned and earned a Golden Buzzer. It's not every day you see a dance act that makes an entire auditorium jump out of their seats. But that's exactly what India's B Unique Crew pulled off on America's Got Talent Season 20. With a performance so intense and unexpected, they left judge Sofia Vergara visibly shaken, Simon Cowell in stunned silence and Howie Mandel reaching straight for the Golden Buzzer. The group took centre stage with a dramatic routine set to Imagine Dragons' hit song Believer. But it wasn't just the music or the sharp choreography that had jaws on the floor — it was their use of props, storytelling, and a spine-tingling twist (literally) that turned the act into a viral moment. One dancer appeared to twist his head all the way around, an illusion so convincing it made Sofia Vergara stand up in shock. The crowd's roar turned into a full-on chant demanding the Golden Buzzer, and Howie didn't hesitate. 'This is the kind of act you never forget," one judge said, as the stage filled with gold confetti. The moment quickly travelled across the internet, with fans in India and abroad cheering the crew's fearless creativity. Actor Allu Arjun joined in the celebration, reposting the performance clip on his Instagram stories. He wrote: 'Wow. Mind blowing." The video was originally shared by B Unique Crew on Instagram, with the caption: 'America ke stage pe India ka Tandav. Judges shocked, crowd roaring, Indians dominating (sic)." The group followed up their performance with a proud message on social media: 'We are B Unique Crew. Proudly representing our nation on the world's biggest stage @agt. America's Got Talent Season 20. And the judges said it loud – 'The BEST Performance of the Season (sic).'" America's Got Talent, currently in its 20th season, is hosted by Terry Crews and features judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Heidi Klum. The show continues to be a stage where international performers shine – and this week, it was India's time to steal the spotlight. Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
