The 25-year-old will play infamous alleged killer Lizzie Borden in the fourth season of Ryan Murphy's show.

Lizzie is an acquitted American woman who was the main suspect of murdering her dad and stepmum with an axe in 1982.
The actress clearly has acting running through her veins as her dad has had a career as an actor and filmmaker, spanning over six decades.
He played Clyde Barrow in the hit crime film Bonnie and Clyde in 1967 and also produced the project also.
Meanwhile, her mum has starred in 1999 classic American Beauty and superhero film Captain Marvel which released in 2019.
That's right, the star in question is Ella Beatty, daughter of the legendary actor Warren Beatty and Annette Bening.
Ella made her foray into the acting world last year with a recurring role in the FX on Hulu anthology series Feud: Capote vs. The Swans, also directed American Horror Story creator Ryan.
Proving she's a chip off of the old block, she starred on the big screen in A24 drama If I Had Legs I'd Kick You which released earlier this year and made her Broadway debut in Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' plays Appropriate.
Ella's dad Warren, 88, made his own acting debut as a teenager in love in the Elia Kazan drama Splendor in the Grass in 1961.
His illustrious career has seen him win an Academy Award, three Golden Globe Awards and the BAFTA Fellowship in 2002.
He's also been nominated for 14 Academy Awards in total including four for Best Actor, four for Best Picture and two for Best Director.

The icon has directed five films, including 1981 epic historical drama Reds and 1990 crime action film Dick Tracy.
Meanwhile, her mum Annette has had her own career spanning over four decades, winning numerous accolades including a BAFTA, two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Golden Globe Awards.
Warren and Annette met in November 1990 while working on the film Bugsy, where they were playing love interests.
Warren, who also wrote the script, was casting the movie and thought of Annette for the role of Virginia Hill, Bugsy's girlfriend.
The pair met for lunch to discuss the part and ended up connecting both professionally and personally.
The two tied the knot in 1992 and went on to have four children together, Stephen, 33, Benjamin, 30, Isabel, 28 and Ella.

The Thursday Murder Club author Richard Osman has made a surprising revelation about his connection to Netflix's Wednesday. Richard Osman has disclosed that he was invited to audition for Netflix series Wednesday, dropping hints about the character he might have portrayed. Three years have passed since Wednesday became a worldwide sensation on Netflix, with Jenna Ortega breathing new life into the wickedly amusing character of Wednesday Addams. Whilst the 54-year-old didn't reveal which character he was meant to audition for in Wednesday, given the role's physical requirements, it's thought Osman could have portrayed the Addams family's manservant Lurch. The role of the silent henchman, originally played by 6ft 3 actor George Burcea in Wednesday season one, has been taken over by former basketball player Joonas Suotamo, who towers at an impressive 6ft 11. Hyde was shocked by Osman's revelation, exclaiming: "Oh my God! Sorry, no, I did not know that and I cannot believe you didn't do it!" He went on to say: "I can't remember why I couldn't do it...I'm not an actor in any way whatsoever, not interested in being an actor. "But the biggest show in the world, you're like 'maybe', I just thought 'for the podcast'. "Do everything for the podcast!" Hyde chuckled, adding: "It'll be fun if I was in that for the podcast." Meanwhile, Osman has been occupied with his novel The Thursday Murder Club, which has been adapted into a Netflix film featuring Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Kingsley and Celia Imrie. Osman, who is an executive producer on The Thursday Murder Club, will see his project debut on Thursday, August 28.

The American actor, 43, rose to fame in the early 2000s, appearing in TV series such as Gilmore Girls and Dawson's Creek, before landing the lead role in the teenage drama series One Tree Hill. Reflecting on returning for the sequel, Murray said they had to work out how his character would realistically fit into the updated story. 'It's a house of cards, you move one piece and the whole thing kind of crashes down with four people switching bodies. So we had to be really careful and deliberate with the choices we made,' he said. 'I went straight into analytics mode. We had to flesh out who Jake has been over the last 22 years. What's he been up to? Where's he gone? What's the funniest choice here? And that's where we went. Then it just became exciting from there.' Murray added: 'My joking sales pitch for this film has been, this movie will make you live longer as it reduces cortisol levels. 'If this is the type of content I do for the rest of my life as an actor I'm done, I'm happy, I'm in.' Woke writer slammed for branding Sydney Sweeney 'a butterface who looks great in jeans'
A prominent progressive political scientist has been met with outrage after calling actress Sydney Sweeney ugly. 'She's a butterface who looks great in jeans,' Rachel Bitecofer, 48, wrote Monday in a post responding to Sweeney's controversial American Eagle ad. 'You sound jealous,' a user replied. 'Yer [sic] jealous. Clearly,' another said, in a torrent of more than 2,000 posts that almost all panned Bitecofer, a former lecturer at Christopher Newport University. Most questioned how she came to such a conclusion. The term 'butterface' is an insulting British slang word derived for a person who has a good body but unattractive face. Sweeney, at 27, has surfaced as a sex symbol as of late. At the same time, an American Eagle tagline in her ad - 'Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans' - didn't sit well with left-leaning audiences. Some left-wingers have claimed that the ad's deliberate word play on the word 'genes' is racist. That's one I wouldn't have known, but I'm glad you told me that,' he said, before hailing her ad as 'fantastic.' The backlash to the political commentator's 'butterface' declaration was swift and merciless Bitecofer - the author of Politicize Everything: A Blueprint for a Party That Fights - appeared to view the backlash as a distractions that's being propped up by Republicans American Eagle has shrugged off controversy over the Sweeney advert and insists its company is an inclusive one. In a statement posted on American Eagle's Instagram account on Friday, the retailer said the ad campaign 'is and always was about the jeans. Her jeans. Her story. 'We'll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way. Great jeans look good on everyone,' it concluded. Sweeney, meanwhile, is a member of the Republican Party of Florida, according to public voter records viewed by the Daily Mail. The campaign in question launched last week. It remains unclear if the company knew how much controversy the ad was going to generate.
