Here's a closer look at Tarah Valencia's Miss Supranational 2025 finals gown
Rian Fernandez, the Filipino designer behind Tarah Valencia's Miss Supranational 2025 coronation night gown, shared a closer look at the Filipina beauty queen's show-stopping ensemble. On Instagram, Rian said that the architectural blue and pink cape gown was designed to make a bold and fashion-forward statement for Tarah. The dress had a dramatic off-the-shoulder neckline and exaggerated sculptural sleeves and came with matching mesh gloves encrusted with the same jewels placed on the dress. Tarah also shared gorgeous portraits of herself wearing the gown on her Instagram. "Draped in the hues of the sea, I rise like the power of the wave — calm, powerful, and proud," she wrote. "Every step. Every glide. Every tear. Every sweat dropped. Every lesson learned and unlearned. And every one of you has brought me here. I will forever be humbled for the realisation that I was meant to be here. That God saw this simple girl from Baguio worthy to represent a country so fierce and rich," she added. Adding dramatic flair and softness to the structured design are the flowing lavender chiffon panels, which cascade from the sleeves to the floor. Tarah made an impressive 3rd runner-up finish during the finals night held in Poland. In her introduction video, Tarah put the spotlight on her hometown, Baguio City. Tarah Valencia is Miss Supranational 3rd runner-up
Tarah Valencia is the Miss Supranational 3rd runner-up! Tarah strutted the runway during the swimsuit portion in a pink one-piece with an orange scarf. For the long gown competition, she donned a blue and pink sparkly gown with a unique silhouette inspired by the oceans and islands of the Philippines. For the question and answer portion, Tarah was asked, 'Many young people today struggle with confidence and self-worth. What advice would you give them to help them embrace who they are?' Tarah answered, 'A lot of individuals would always bring you down, but I say this this because I experienced this, but I was able to battle this by giving myself positive affirmations, such as 'I am worthy,' 'I am capable,' and 'I can do anything through my power and through my own voice, and that's what every individual should do to have their own self-worth. Thank you.' Eduarda Braum from Brazil was crowned Miss Supranational after beating 65 other candidates from around the world. She was crowned by reigning queen Harashta Haifa Zahra from Indonesia. Meanwhile, Filipino-German Anna Lakrini, who represented Germany, was named 1st runner-up. Quishantely Leito of Curacao finished as 2nd runner-up, and Valerie Klepadlo of Puerto Rico was the 4th runner-up. —Nika Roque/KG, GMA Integrated News
