The teacher, identified as Kavita Kawche, was serving at the primary school in Singhana village and was captured on camera slurring, threatening staff, and creating a scene within school premises.
According to the official suspension order issued by the Office of the Collector (Tribal Welfare), Dhar, the incident took place on June 23. Kawche allegedly arrived at school under the influence of alcohol, used offensive language, and misbehaved with laborers involved in school repair work.
The school staff, including the in-charge principal Juwan Singh Baghel and headmistress Mamta Rathore, confirmed the incident and stated that such behavior had been repeatedly observed in the past.
In the probe report submitted by Block Resource Coordinator Kishore Kumar Bageshwar, the school staff and students informed officials that such incidents had occurred in the past as well.
One video shows her saying, "This is my school.

Don't act smart in front of me," while slurring and folding her hands when confronted.
'We came to know about the matter when videos of the teacher began circulating widely on social media. Following this, officials from the Education Department, including the Block Resource Coordinator, were sent to the school for an inquiry. It was found that she was intoxicated and misbehaving with both the laborers working on school repairs and the staff,' N.S.
Barkade, assistant commissioner, Tribal Welfare Department, told TOI.
'Similar incidents have occurred in the past as well, but at the time, she apologized and the matter was set aside. In this case, a departmental inquiry will be conducted to determine the further course of action against the teacher,' he added.
The suspension, enacted under the Madhya Pradesh Civil Services Conduct Rules, 1965, and Classification, Control, and Appeal Rules, 1966, cites dereliction of duty and misconduct. Her headquarters during the suspension period has been assigned to the Block Education Office in Gandhwani, and she will be entitled to subsistence allowance as per norms.
Kawche is responsible for teaching nearly 150 students from classes one to five. Repeated warnings, staff say, had failed to deter her behavior, which they claim has negatively impacted students.

Telangana HC clears businessman in Rs 40L Deccan Club fraud case in Secunderabad

HYDERABAD: The Telangana high court has quashed criminal proceedings against a West Bengal-based businessman who was named as one of the prime accused in a financial fraud case involving the Deccan Club in Secunderabad. The case, registered in 2017 at Tukaramgate police station, revolved around the alleged misappropriation of approximately 40 lakh by former staff members of the club, including the system administrator and the accountant. The accused were alleged to have manipulated the club's accounting software to divert cash payments made by members, effectively siphoning off funds that were never reflected in the club's accounts. The businessman, who had no official or managerial role in the club, was named in the chargesheet solely on the basis of a confession by another accused, who claimed he had received a portion of the embezzled funds. The chargesheet, she noted, contained contradictions, including uncertainty over whether the funds were received by the petitioner himself or his father-in-law. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Abiti in una casa indipendente? Accordingly, the judge quashed all charges against the petitioner and closed the pending miscellaneous applications related to the matter. According to the prosecution, the petitioner allegedly used the diverted money to purchase heavy vehicles. However, the defense argued that the petitioner was wrongfully implicated, and there was no direct link between him and the financial operations of the club. The fraud came to light during an internal audit, which exposed how the accused insiders cancelled original cash payment entries in the system and re-entered them as credit or debit card transactions. This tactic created a false reconciliation of accounts while ensuring that actual cash never reached the club's coffers.

Three dead, ten injured in Philadelphia mass shooting during holiday weekend block party

A mass shooting in Philadelphia 's Grays Ferry neighborhood early Monday(July 7) left three people dead and 10 others injured, including three minors, in one of the city's deadliest acts of gun violence this year. Police say the shooting occurred around 1 am on the 1500 block of South Etting Street during what they described as an impromptu block party involving dozens of people. More than 100 rounds were fired, striking cars, homes, and people on the street. Among those killed was 24-year-old Azir Harris, a wheelchair user who survived a 2019 drive-by shooting and had since become a father. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Eu usei estas meias japonesas e aliviei minha dor nas pernas NeuroFit Undo 'I carried him when he was a baby. I carried him through his first incident, and I couldn't pick him up this time,' his father, Troy Harris, told FOX 29. 'Put these guns down, man. There's a better way to solve it.' The two other fatalities were a 19-year-old man shot in the head and a 23-year-old man shot in the chest. A fourth victim, a 19-year-old man shot twice in the head, remains in critical condition. Police confirmed three minors, two 17-year-old boys and a 15-year-old girl, were among the wounded. Live Events One person has been taken into custody with a weapon. Investigators continue to review surveillance footage and are urging witnesses to come forward. Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel said officers recovered dozens of shell casings and believe multiple shooters were involved. Surveillance footage captured a barrage of gunfire, and at least one weapon used was modified with an illegal switch that converted it into a fully automatic firearm. 'This is coward stuff,' Bethel said during a press briefing. 'Individuals just shooting randomly into houses, into cars, at children. This is cowardly, wannabe thug stuff.' The shooting is Philadelphia's second mass shooting over the July Fourth weekend. Two days earlier, eight people were wounded in a separate incident outside a nightclub in South Philadelphia. Though Philadelphia has seen an overall 12 percent decrease in homicides this year, Bethel stressed the city will not tolerate a return to past levels of violence. 'We are not going back to the times when we had 500-plus homicides,' he said. 'That is not happening.' Community members say the trauma is rippling through the neighborhood. Tyrique Glasgow, a local youth mentor with the Young Chances Foundation, said he canceled his summer camp Monday because children were too afraid to leave their homes. 'I feel frustration,' Glasgow said. 'But it's really about understanding what we did yesterday and what we can do tomorrow.' Police continue to investigate and say they are following 'significant leads.'

Trump says US to send more weapons to Ukraine, days after ordering pause in deliveries

Washington: President Donald Trump says the US will have to send more weapons to Ukraine , just days after ordering pause in critical weapons deliveries to Kyiv. The comments by Trump on Monday appeared to be an abrupt change in posture after the Pentagon announced last week that it would hold back delivering to Ukraine some air defense missiles, precision-guided artillery and other weapons as part of its announced pause to some arms shipments amid US concerns that its own stockpiles have declined too much. "We have to," Trump told reporters about additional weapons deliveries for Ukraine. "They have to be able to defend themselves." by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Mundfalten "bügeln" mit TV-Tipp (Löwen) | bedrop Undo Russian attacks on Ukraine killed at least 11 civilians and injured more than 80 others, including seven children, officials said Monday. Meanwhile, Russian's transport minister was found dead in what authorities said was an apparent suicide - news that broke hours after the Kremlin announced he had been dismissed by President Vladimir Putin. The firing of Roman Starovoit followed a weekend of travel chaos when airports grounded hundreds of flights due to the threat of drone attacks from Ukraine, although Russian officials did not give a reason for his dismissal. Live Events Hundreds of flights were cancelled or delayed at airports in Moscow and St. Petersburg, but Russian commentators said the air traffic disruptions have become customary amid frequent Ukrainian drone raids and were unlikely to have triggered his dismissal. Starovoit, 53, served as Russia 's transport minister since May 2024. Russian media have reported that his dismissal could have been linked to an investigation into the embezzlement of state funds allocated for building fortifications in the Kursk region, where he served as governor before being appointed transportation minister. The alleged embezzlement has been cited as one of the reasons for deficiencies in Russia's defensive lines that failed to stem a surprise Ukrainian incursion in the region launched in August 2024. Russia fired more than 100 drones at civilian areas of Ukraine overnight, authorities said. Russia recently has intensified its airstrikes on civilian areas after more than three years of war . In the past week, Russia launched some 1,270 drones, 39 missiles and almost 1,000 powerful glide bombs at Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Monday. Russia's bigger army is also trying hard to break through at some points along the roughly 1,000-kilometer (620 miles) front line, where Ukrainian forces are severely stretched. The strain of keeping Russia's invasion at bay, the lack of progress in direct peace talks, and last week's halt of some promised US weapons shipments has compelled Ukraine to seek more military help from the U.S. and Europe. Zelenskyy said Saturday that Ukraine had signed deals with European allies and a leading US defense company to step up drone production, ensuring Kyiv receives "hundreds of thousands" more this year. "Air defense is the main thing for protecting life," Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram on Monday. That includes developing and manufacturing interceptor drones that can stop Russia's long-range Shahed drones, he said. Extensive use of drones has also helped Ukraine compensate for its troop shortages on the front line. One person was killed in the southern city of Odesa, another person was killed and 71 were injured in northeastern Kharkiv and falling drone debris caused damage in two districts of Kyiv, the capital, during nighttime drone attacks, Ukrainian authorities said. Russian short-range drones also killed two people and injured two others in the northern Sumy region, officials said. Sumy is one of the places where Russia has concentrated large numbers of troops. Also, nine people were injured and seven killed in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine, regional head Vadym Filashkin said. He didn't specify the weapons used. More Russian long-range drone strikes Monday targeted military mobilisation centers for the third time in five days, in an apparent attempt to disrupt recruitment, Ukraine's Army Ground Forces command said. Regional officials in Kharkiv and southern Zaporizhzhia said at least 17 people were injured. Meanwhile, Russia's Defense Ministry said Monday that its troops shot down 91 Ukrainian drones in 13 Russian regions overnight, as well as over the Black Sea and the Crimean Peninsula, which was illegally annexed by Russia in 2014.
