Liverpool are closing in on two more transfer deals as their busy window continues. Hugo Ekitike became the Reds' seventh signing of the summer after joining the club in a deal worth up to £79m from Eintracht Frankfurt. Liverpool have beaten Arsenal in the race to sign the forward, who will initially link up with their Under-21s side after undergoing a medical. Meanwhile, Luis Diaz is closing in on a big-money exit to Bayern Munich after being granted permission to leave the Reds' pre-season training camp in Tokyo to complete the move. The Colombian has been pictured in Munich ahead of undergoing a medical, with the forward set to complete a £65.5m transfer. Liverpool's summer business will not end there. The Reds are still tipped to strengthen their hand at centre-back, while the likes of Darwin Nunez, Federico Chiesa and Harvey Elliott continue to be linked with moves away. It would likely take a bid of £130m plus in order to land the Swede, who has failed to travel with his club for their Asian preseason tour. It's been claimed that Isak has already signed off on personal terms and Liverpool are in the process of clearing space in the squad - and the budget - through the sale of Luis Diaz to Bayern and potentially getting rid of Darwin Nunez too. Liverpool's deal for Isak is 60 percent done And now Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that HUGE progress has been made on Isak's record-breaking deal to join Liverpool. The Italian transfer supremo claims that the deal is 60 percent complete - with club-to-club contact now underway. 'For Alexander Isak, in terms of percentage for Liverpool, it's at 60 percent,' he told DAZN Transfer. 'It's quite optimistic, but there is still work to do, 40 percent to go before we can say Isak is going to be a Liverpool player. 'But Liverpool have all the intentions to go strong for this deal. It's why Federico Chiesa was signed and why he wasn't let go in January. Slot wants six and was given six. Right now, he also has six: Mo Salah, Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo, Luis Diaz, Chiesa and Ekitike. Three of those forwards are expected to depart, however. Nunez and Chiesa have long been linked with exits. Diaz will join Bayern Munich in the coming days, too.
