Full confirmed list of Liverpool summer transfers as Reds move for new striker and medicals underway
Liverpool are closing in on two more transfer deals as their busy window continues. Hugo Ekitike became the Reds' seventh signing of the summer after joining the club in a deal worth up to £79m from Eintracht Frankfurt. His arrival took Liverpool's spending so far to £295m, including add-ons. But with the Reds continuing to monitor wantaway Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, they could find themselves smashing even the £400m barrier before the transfer window closes. Despite interest in the Swede, Liverpool are yet to make a former offer for the Magpies frontman. However, they are close to adding one new striker to their ranks. Liverpool have beaten Arsenal in the race to sign the forward, who will initially link up with their Under-21s side after undergoing a medical. Meanwhile, Luis Diaz is closing in on a big-money exit to Bayern Munich after being granted permission to leave the Reds' pre-season training camp in Tokyo to complete the move. The Colombian has been pictured in Munich ahead of undergoing a medical, with the forward set to complete a £65.5m transfer. Liverpool's summer business will not end there. The Reds are still tipped to strengthen their hand at centre-back, while the likes of Darwin Nunez, Federico Chiesa and Harvey Elliott continue to be linked with moves away. With the transfer window now open until 11pm on Monday 1 September, there will still be plenty more twists and turns for the Reds over the summer months as sporting director Richard Hughes continues to work hard behind the scenes. Fabrizio Romano confirms talks in HISTORIC Alexander Isak deal
The British record deal expected to take Alexander Isak from Newcastle to Liverpool is hotting up. Ever since Isak, 25, informed the Magpies that he had no interest in signing a new contract - and instead wished to explore a move away - it has been speculated that a move to Anfield would be imminent. Shop the LFC Store LFC x New Era Shop Now LFC Signed Merch Shop Now LFC x Titleist Shop Now Liverpool are prepared to break ANOTHER transfer record to land Isak - top of their list of striker targets. It would likely take a bid of £130m plus in order to land the Swede, who has failed to travel with his club for their Asian preseason tour. It's been claimed that Isak has already signed off on personal terms and Liverpool are in the process of clearing space in the squad - and the budget - through the sale of Luis Diaz to Bayern and potentially getting rid of Darwin Nunez too. Liverpool's deal for Isak is 60 percent done And now Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that HUGE progress has been made on Isak's record-breaking deal to join Liverpool. The Italian transfer supremo claims that the deal is 60 percent complete - with club-to-club contact now underway. 'For Alexander Isak, in terms of percentage for Liverpool, it's at 60 percent,' he told DAZN Transfer. 'It's quite optimistic, but there is still work to do, 40 percent to go before we can say Isak is going to be a Liverpool player. 'But Liverpool have all the intentions to go strong for this deal. Liverpool already made contact with Newcastle two weeks ago. 'Liverpool are prepared to make a Premier League record-breaking bid for the 25-year-old, but are waiting for Newcastle to give the green light.' Isak REJECTS Saudi deal The Anfield club are clearly frontrunners for Isak - with the player having NO interest in moving to Al-Hilal despite the £600k per week on offer. It's Liverpool or nothing for the Toon's No14 - who looks set to move on to the next stage of his career as Liverpool's centre-forward.

Arne Slot demand set to trigger TRIPLE forward signing
's demand for Liverpool's squad is set to trigger a triple signing. Give the man what he wants. Arne Slot won the Premier League with a squad that wasn't even his. Liverpool tried to give him one player he asked for - Martin Zubimendi - and failed to do so. LFC Kits Shop Now LFC x New Era Shop Now LFC Signed Merch Shop Now LFC x Titleist Shop Now The success was with a group of stars built for Jürgen Klopp's methods. The club are now doing all they can to give him his squad as they expect things to move up yet another level if they do. We've seen that in operation this summer, of course. Florian Wirtz arrived for a club-record fee, while Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez have arrived in record deals for a right-back and left-back respectively. Hugo Ekitike is the new centre-forward, with more signings almost certainly on the way. We can guarantee that if only because the squad has holes in it - and with even more holes to come. Which actually brings about one of Slot's demands at Liverpool. If the Reds really want to give him what he wants, a triple transfer is on the way. Arne Slot's demands Per The Times, Slot wants six forwards in his squad. It's part of a larger request to have two players for every role but six forwards was a necessity last season. It's why Federico Chiesa was signed and why he wasn't let go in January. Slot wants six and was given six. Right now, he also has six: Mo Salah, Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo, Luis Diaz, Chiesa and Ekitike. Three of those forwards are expected to depart, however. Nunez and Chiesa have long been linked with exits. Diaz will join Bayern Munich in the coming days, too.
