NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A music festival from hometown musician Darius Rucker is set to return for its fourth straight year this fall.
Riverfront Revival boasts two days of live music, entertainment, and local cuisine in North Charleston's beautiful Riverfront Park in October.
Rucker is set to return as the festival's headliner, but the line-up, released Wednesday, includes another local icon, actor Bill Murray and his Blood Brothers (featuring Mike Zito and Albert Castiglia).
The festival will take place Oct. 10 and 11. Ticket presale begins Thursday, April 10, at 10 a.m. (you'll want to sign up for a presale access code online), and ticket sales open to the public the next morning.
Attendees can purchase two-day weekend passes, one-day passes, VIP, or General Admission Plus, which includes access to a private bar, seating, and upscale air-conditioned restrooms. VIP tickets are limited and have sold out the past three years.
FRIDAY, OCT. 10
Riley Green, The Red Clay Strays, Lukas Nelson, Dylan Marlowe, Clay Street Unit, Neon Union, Warrick McZeke, and Faith Schueler
SATURDAY, OCT. 11
Darius Rucker, Bill Murray & His Blood Brothers, Whiskey Myers, Flatland Cavalry, Kashus Culpepper, Brittney Spencer, Austin Williams, Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country, Whiskey Run, and Elizabeth Covington.
'My love for Charleston has influenced so much of my career. Riverfront Revival, which made my longtime dream of bringing a music festival to this community a reality, is a celebration of the Lowcountry that gets better every year,' said Rucker in a news release Wednesday.
A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold will benefit the Arts in Healing program at the Medical University of South Carolina and Just Be You, which is a local nonprofit 'dedicated to empowering teens with confidence, self-love, and self-compassion.'
