The short clip filmed outside the Principality Stadium features the unmistakable chords of Cigarettes and Alcohol, a firm fan favourite, prompting immediate excitement and a flurry of reactions online.
The Oasis Live '25 tour gets underway in Cardiff on Friday and will see brothers Noel and Liam perform live together for the first time since the band's split in 2009. Cardiff was buzzing with nostalgia and speculation this week after a fan-captured video of what appears to be an Oasis soundcheck sent social media into overdrive. Wales Online reporter Conor Gogarty captured a video from Fitzhamond Embankment opposite the venue, in which you can hear the duo blasting out their cult classic tracks.
'Oasis soundcheck in Cardiff just now. @liamgallagher sounding biblical,' he quipped.
Unsurprisingly, Liam chimed in, writing: 'Mmm I'm not sure about the vocals there too aggressive he really needs to take a chill pill man he's just so angry all the time,' he wrote.

'I don't know who he thinks he is as far as I'm concerned he's just a bigmouth from up north. (sic)'
The monumental moment has reignited excitement among fans, with a number taking to social media in awe.
'I've been chilled about not getting tickets but that is cool as f*ck. Shivers,' one fan shared. Pic:'It's all starting to feel real,' another shared.
The band split up in 2009 but announced their reunion tour last year, sending fans wild as they battled it out on Ticketmaster for some of the coveted tickets.
While Irish fans still have to wait almost two months before the brothers take to the stage at Croke Park, details of what to expect have been released ahead of the first gig of the tour.
Details released via social media confirmed that gates would be open from 5pm on Friday and Saturday with two acts set to warm-up the crowd before the brothers take to the stage later in the evening.
Indie rock band Cast and singer-songwriter Richard Ashcroft, known as the frontman of The Verve, support Oasis over the weekend — and are set to be on supporting duties throughout the tour.
Both acts have close ties to the Gallagher brothers over the years with Cast opening up for Liam earlier in 2024 as part of his Definitely Maybe 30th anniversary tour.

See photos as return of Craic in the Granite festival rocks Aughrim crowds
Kicking off on Friday with the debut of a new art exhibition at the Kunstverein, and music from The Rebel Souls and Bruiser on a marquee stage next to Aughrim's iconic monument, children danced and played chase on Main Street, while parents (and grandparents) came out in droves to soak up the summer heat and festivities, which were set to a soundtrack of reggae, rock and trad by talent from across the Garden County. The festival reached fever pitch on Saturday, with a full day of events being held at the Aughrim Pavilion, where gold panning, a sensory tent, and some explosive science experiments were part of the children's entertainment. Musicians such as Settle the Scór and Dogpond played to much fanfare from the audience, while a dramatic Irish mythology performance from CandleLit Tales had Aughrim enraptured. Following two days of good weather and great attendance, with some visitors coming from as far as Drogheda, festival director Barry Reid and musical director Tristan McCall brought this years festival – which seems set to become a mainstay of the Wicklow summer calendar – to a close, thanking attendees and reminding them: 'Same time, same place next year!'.
