EXCLUSIVE Khloe Kardashian's perfect celebrity match REVEALED after swearing off NBA players for good

Daily Mail03-05-2025
Khloé Kardashian left fans shocked after recently announcing her decision to retire from dating pro athletes while appearing on Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast.
Following her failed romances with Lamar Odom and Tristan Thompson, celebrity matchmaker, Susan Trombetti, weighed in on who would make the best match for the reality star amid her new 'no NBA ' policy.
In an excusive chat with DailyMail.com, Trombetti, the founder of Exclusive Matchmaking, explained that Kardashian's next partner needs to be someone 'emotionally available and commits to her.'
'He would be someone that loves her, is kind to her and her children, fits in with her lifestyle and family, and is emotionally available and commits to her,' she said. 'They need to be family oriented. It shouldn't be someone that is looking for fame, or wants to compete with her celebrity.'
Trombetti continued: 'Think Zac Efron. He has no scandalous past, appears grounded and very private, he is kind, he's famous and handles it well.'
And, as the expert matchmaker, pointed out, 'he's handsome, loyal and drama free.'
'He's a hottie... as a matchmaker, I say they could make a good match!' she insisted.
While the pair would make an unexpected couple, the High School Musical actor and mother-of-two share several areas of compatibility, including their passion for fitness and maintaining healthy lifestyles as well as their down-to-earth personalities.
In terms of their astrological compatibility, Kardashian is a Cancer, and Zac Efron is a Libra, which makes them both hopeful romantics.
While a Libra's curiosity might clash with a Cancer's sensitivity, with trust and communication, neither obstacle would be too great of an obstacle for them to overcome.
Still, Efron would be a major pivot from Kardashian's past romances as she has almost exclusively dated NBA players like Odom, Thompson, James Harden and Rashad McCants.
The Good American founder did, however, recently declare she was swearing off her type after enduring multiple cheating scandals during her relationships with Thompson, 34, and Odom, 45.
Despite her valid reasoning for wanting to shun ballers, dating experts, Nicole Moore and Amber Lee, cautioned Kardashian from stereotyping against all sports stars.
'Swearing off NBA Players is not going to help Khloe to avoid men who are not right for her without looking at the deeper underlying patterns and attachment issues that impact the type of partner she is attracting,' Lee, the CEO & Co-Founder at Select Date Society told DailyMail.com.
Instead, Lee suggested the mother-of-two should focus on 'swearing off men with commitment issues.'
'Khloe can have a great relationship with a professional athlete if she is able to accurately identify patterns that have not served her well in the past, such as her tendency to fall into the role of caretaker and nurturer,' the matchmaker continued.
As she searches for her next partner, Lee also proposed Kardashian make a list of her non-negotiables and identify her 'must haves' in a partner.
'These should include character traits that truly matter in a partnership (not superficial requirements like he has to be over 6'2).' she noted.
Moore agreed that it would be 'silly for Khloe to not an NBA player who is actually emotionally available, for instance, just because her exes who were NBA players hurt her.'
Still, the celebrity love coach pointed out that 'unfortunately, professional athletes are, in fact, more likely to cheat due to many factors.'
This includes spending a lot of time away from their partners, fans who do anything to be them, and an intense work environment that can sometimes cause them to sweep emotional issues under the rug.
Trombetti did point out, however, that cheating, unfortunately, is 'the norm' with many professional athletes.
'It's an unspoken network where the wives watch out for other player's wives and alert them because cheating goes on regularly,' revealed. 'Women are constantly throwing themselves at them, and most don't resist the temptation.'
As for whether it would be realistic for Khloé to find love outside the celebrity world, Moore acknowledged it would be 'incredibly difficult.'
'Khloe would likely find more success in a relationship with somebody with equal influence and finances as her perhaps someone with visibility in business or an adjacent field,' she explained.
Moore also expressed concern that if she 'were to date non-celebrity, she might always wonder if they were with her or her fame and fortune.'
Trombetti, however, pointed out that other stars, like Lana del Ray, Jennifer Garner, Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon are all happily dating men outside their industries.
'It's happening more often,' she explained. 'I have A-list celebs that come to me asking for someone not in the business. Everyone craves a relationship as much out of the spotlight as possible.'

EXCLUSIVE Why DID Julian McMahon flee his secret Californian paradise, vanish from public life, only to die at the 'Mecca of Scientology'? Unanswered questions about actor's final years

The mystery surrounding Julian McMahon's death in the United States grows murkier by the day. The Australian actor died aged 56 in Clearwater, Florida, on July 2 of an undisclosed cancer. Last week, the Pinellas County Medical Examiner's office reported the Nip/Tuck star died from lung metastasis as a result of head and neck metastatic cancer. His death was ruled natural, and the office confirmed his remains have since been cremated. Questions remain over just how and why Julian - the son of former Australian prime minister Billy McMahon - ended up in Clearwater. The beachside city, on Florida's west coast, is infamous for being the Mecca of the Church of Scientology. Cremation is favoured by Scientologists, who believe the human body is of no use to followers after death. The church's founder L. Ron Hubbard was cremated. A cache of public documents about Julian's life in the United States since the 1990s reviewed by Daily Mail Australia says little about why he ultimately ended up in Clearwater. Records show he gained his social security identification in New York, but by 1997 he began living in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles. His home, directly beneath the Hollywood Sign, was sold in 2015 for AUD$3.3 million. He also owned a home in Malibu, which he shared with third wife, model Kelly Paniagua, and sold in 2017 for AUD $5.41 million. Our investigation exclusively revealed the couple also owned a stunning ranch in Ventura County, California, pictured here in never-before-seen photos. The hacienda-style home in the farming community of Somis featured 1.8 hectares of Hass avocado trees and 4.4 acres of lemons. The 2700-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bathroom residence was listed for sale by the couple in 2016 before being removed from the market in 2017. It was relisted on July 19, 2023 - curiously, the advertisement suggested it could be purchased fully furnished - and sold October 5, 2023. Since 2023, the McMahons had no further listed residences, save for a business address linked to an accountant specialising in celebrity finances in Encino, California. The couple then seemingly headed to Florida. Julian's daughter Madison - from his previous marriage to American actress Brooke Burns - is listed at an address in Charleston, South Carolina, where it is thought she attended university. However, Madison, 25, teaches yoga classes in Miami. Offering a further clue, of the 20 accounts Julian followed on Instagram, one was Mari's Kitchen Italian Market - a restaurant in Hollywood, Florida, just north of Miami. A spokesperson for the restaurant revealed: 'Yes, he is very missed here. One of our good friends'. They would not confirm if Julian had lived in the area. When Mrs McMahon, 47, revealed her husband had died in Clearwater after 'a valiant effort to overcome cancer', it immediately prompted speculation online as to whether he was a Scientologist. 'I live in Clearwater... close to a house [Scientologist] John Travolta owns, because we're about a mile from the Scientology center in downtown Clearwater,' one local wrote on Instagram. 'I was wondering if Julian McMahon was a Scientologist since [Kelly's statement] said he died in Clearwater, because why else would he live the last few months of his life there? The only celebrities that do are usually Scientologists. Surprised, that's for certain!' Another person posted on Twitter, 'Why was Julian McMahon in Clearwater when he died? Like, that's Scientology city.' Clearwater, which has a population of 116,000, is notorious for being overrun by the Church of Scientology. The religion's global headquarters, Flag, is in the heart of the town, and its followers own most of the commercial real estate. Julian's place of death also sparked a thread on Reddit, where one person dismissed speculation by saying, 'He was an Australian who loved the beach. I don't see him being involved with Scientology.' There is no mention of Julian, former model Kelly, his daughter Madison or ex-wife Brooke Burns on any Scientology databases, nor is Daily Mail Australia suggesting he was a Scientologist. Attempts were made to reach a representative for Julian. So notorious is the town's connection to the religion that former celebrity follower Leah Remini dedicated an entire episode of her docuseries Scientology and the Aftermath to how the church took it over. A Tampa Bay Times investigation revealed the church, its members, and affiliated companies now own 185 properties in the city's downtown enclave. Church figurehead Tom Cruise lives in a penthouse apartment with his son Connor. Famous follower Kirstie Alley, who died in 2022 from colon cancer, owned a waterfront mansion there - which she bought from late Scientologist Lisa Marie Presley in 2000. Devotee John Travolta's wife, Kelly Preston, died after a battle with breast cancer in Clearwater in 2020. Julian's widow Kelly, a California born and raised former model, now describes herself as a 'spiritual concierge', operating a business called Super Spiritual Girl. According to her website, she is a shamanic healer, reiki master, certified meditation instructor and intuitive reader. She has hosted spiritual workshops in Miami. In announcing Julian's shock passing, Kelly said in a statement to Deadline: 'With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully...' 'Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible.' The talented actor, who began his career on Home and Away, was best known for his role as Dr Christian Troy on the FX series Nip/Tuck. He then won the hearts of many as he portrayed Cole Turner in Charmed (seasons 3 through 5 from 2000 to 2003), before returning as a guest for season 7 in 2005. Julian later starred as Jess LaCroix on the CBS series FBI: Most Wanted, beginning in 2020 but made a surprise exit in March 2022 after three seasons. On the big screen, he starred as iconic supervillain Dr. Doom in two Marvel movies: Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer (2007). He also appeared alongside Sandra Bullock in 2007 supernatural psychological thriller Premonition. Most recently, he teamed up with Nicolas Cage for the Australian-made film The Surfer. In a statement to Deadline, Nicolas said, 'I spent six weeks working with Julian, and he was the most talented of actors. 'Our scenes together on The Surfer were amongst my favorites I have ever participated in, and Julian is one of my favorite people. He was a kind and intelligent man. My love to his family.' Julian and Kelly had been together for 11 years before marrying in a romantic ceremony in Lake Tahoe, on the border of California and Nevada, in 2014. He was previously married to model and Baywatch actress Brooke Burns - mother to Madison - from 1999 to 2001. Brooke shared a touching old image of Julian and Madison to Instagram, accompanied with the words, 'Rest in peace' and a heart emoji. Julian's first marriage was to Australian actress and pop star Dannii Minogue, after meeting on the Home and Away set in 1991. Their union was doomed, seemingly in part due to Julian's mother - the late Lady Sonia McMahon, a Sydney socialite - not approving of Dannii. 'His family did not like me,' Dannii said. 'There's a certain social pecking order and I was definitely not in that scene. She [Sonia] only spoke to me a couple of times.' Dannii alleged her former mother-in-law 'caused issues' at the couple's 1994 wedding. 'On the actual day of the wedding there was drama,' she said. 'She said she wasn't going to show up, so that's quite stressful. Julian and I were going ahead with the marriage regardless. 'So she did end up coming and was causing a scene. It wasn't the greatest... it was hard. I tried to stay away from it. I just wanted to enjoy the day.'

Football star reveals heartbreaking reason behind neck tattoo as she prepares to play in the Euros quarter-finals

An ex Chelsea goalkeeper who's a major star of the Women's Euros - and dating an England player - has revealed the heartbreaking inspiration behind three tattoos on her neck and arm. German keeper Ann-Katrin Berger, who will be in goal when her squad faces France in the quarter finals of the competition on Saturday, has a series of symbols inked just under her right ear, and a tree and a compass on her arm. Speaking to German newspaper Bild, the 34-year-old, who's engaged to England defender Jess Carter, after the pair fell in love while both playing for the Blues, revealed that one of the tattoos hides a cancer scar, while the other two are also linked to the illness that has threatened her career twice. The shot-stopper, who plays her club football at Gotham FC in New York, was first diagnosed with the disease in 2017. She revealed that she had thyroid cancer while playing for Birmingham City and told fans at the time she she would 'fight every day' to beat the disease. In 2022, she was re-diagnosed with the same type of cancer after four years in remission. Berger told Bild that she deliberately chose a neck tattoo because people would then talk about that rather than the marks left by her surgery. She said: 'I had problems with the scars I had from the cancer surgery. They bothered me. I had them tattooed over so no one would see them. Now everyone asks me about the tattoo and not about the scars.' Berger - who won three Women's Super League titles, two FA Cups and two League Cups with Chelsea - returned to action just over a month after being diagnosed with cancer. The German national star now has other tattoos related to her two diagnoses. She explained: 'I have a tree on my arm now, that's the newest thing. I got it done when I was ill for the second time. 'The roots of a tree are more important than the beauty around them. I got a compass with a folder tattooed when I was ill for the first time.' The goalie is once again in remission and has regular check-ups every six months. Germany are currently in the other side of the Euros draw but Berger and her fiancee could meet on the pitch if they can defeat France. The couple were on opposing sides in the 2022 Euros final, where the Lionesses crushed Germany to win the title. The two became friends while playing for Birmingham in 2016, with the now couple eventually sharing a flat together. English defender Carter had only previously been in relationships with men and has said that, despite the pair sharing undeniable chemistry, she wasn't sure what was going on at first. She told The Guardian previously: 'I had broken up with my boyfriend when I moved in, but as far as I knew I was straight.' However, after a 'date' (which Carter initially thought was just as friends) the pair kissed while watching a movie at home, and Berger had well and truly convinced her Chelsea teammate that the spark was real. And the tables have certainly turned since Carter had to be subtly coaxed into understanding her feelings for Berger. Now it's the English international who is loud and proud for the world to see. 'I think I was – and probably still am – more comfortable than Ann is with publicising our relationship, but that is just because Ann is a very private person whereas I am more of a "the whole world could know and I wouldn't really care" kind of person,' Carter said in 2021. 'Over time and because I will say whatever, she has kind of got used to it and goes with it. By seeing that it is normal and you can be whoever you want to be ... (it) shows younger people that it is okay to be you.' Announcing their engagement on X, the couple posed alongside one another for a selfie, with the caption reading: '7 years down, forever to go'. Reflecting on her her cancer battle with BBC Sport in 2023, Berger insisted the challenges she has faced has made her a stronger person. 'To be at a Euros [when] nobody knew then, the emotion of the Euros took the negative part away from my brain,' she recalled. 'It was a good year. I didn't let my illness come across and say "hey, you shouldn't have a good year because I'm back again".' Berger also revealed she is keen to discuss her cancer diagnosis, despite it often being a taboo subject for many people. She added: 'I actually quite like to talk about it. It's a topic nobody likes to talk about but in my position I think I can help people. 'I'm not sitting here saying everything was easy, because it's not, but whatever your main focus is - and mine was football - you can achieve everything you want to. 'That's why I think it's really important for me to be open. I did it, so why can't everyone else?'

Kylie Jenner brazenly copies her idol Jennifer Lopez while on vacation in Greece

Kylie Jenner brazenly copied her Hollywood idol Jennifer Lopez while on a luxury vacation on a yacht in Greece last week. The reality TV star, 27, added an unusual detail to her look as she wore a gold anklet on her one of her legs, which J-Lo, 55 has been doing for years. Kylie also wore large gold hoop earrings, which is another of the singer's signature looks. Jennifer is a longtime friend of the Kardashian family. She is pals with Kim and Khloe, and has also attended Kris Jenner's Christmas Eve party in Hidden Hills, California. The girlfriend of Timothee Chalamet had on a sleeveless ivory gown with a slit up the front and added strappy black heels. She was heading out to dinner on shore with her pal Stassie Karanikolaou, and captioned the pics simply: 'Greeeece.'
