Lindsey Vonn's Underwear Was Too Chic To Keep Hidden At The ESPYs

Yahoo17-07-2025
Lindsey Vonn is a daredevil on the slopes and on the red carpet.
The Olympian decided to embrace peekaboo chic while donning a dark Elisabetta Franchi dress to Wednesday night's ESPY Awards in Hollywood.
Her gown's daring leg slit reached up past the hips, giving Vonn the perfect opportunity to show off color-coordinated underwear that featured glitzy chain-link sides.
Matching the metallic detail of her lingerie, the star athlete rocked a bold gold watch, drop earrings and a spiral ring.
To top things off, she wore her hair in a textured wet look that mirrored the sheen of her burgundy frock, while playing up her eyes with rose-tinted smoky makeup.
Vonn, who was nominated for Best Comeback Athlete at the event, has long combined her love of sports and fashion.
Back in the day, she earned both compliments and criticism as one of the only female skiers to sport makeup during competitions.
Talking about her trailblazing race day beauty choices in her 2022 memoir 'Rise,' the Olympic gold medalist said, 'Everyone, athletes included, should wear whatever makes them feel good. I never set out to make a statement with it, but I do think that my racing in makeup helped change the public's perspective on how an athlete can look.'

Guardians' lineup was sponsored by a betting company on same day as Emmanuel Clase news

You can't make this stuff up. Truly, there's no way. Sports betting has become tied hand in hand with the major sports leagues, including Major League Baseball. The Cleveland Guardians are currently missing two players on leave, Luis Ortiz and Emmanuel Clase, while they are part of a sports-betting investigation. So you won't believe the sponsor for the Guardians' social media lineup post on Monday. It was Bet365. Have a look for yourself, down there below the lineup, from the official team account: MORE: New York Mets on insane win streak thanks to Backyard Baseball legend Pablo Sanchez Leagues want integrity, which is a fair desire. They also want sponsorship money, which is a fair desire. But in the case of sports betting, those can fly in the face of one another. This is a prime example. Maybe the Guardians had no way to escape such a sponsorship deal on short notice, but for this night in particular, it ends up being a brutal look. But that's how intertwined sports betting companies are with these leagues. It's right there to see in all its irony.
