Dr Martens fans can get their hands on a pair of versatile sandals for £60 in the brand's epic summer sale, which has just launched. With 40% off a handful of different styles, the brand's Nartilla Tumbled Nubuck Leather Gladiator Sandals are a popular choice thanks to their neutral olive or tan hue and statement chunky sole.
Costing £60 instead of £100 (with 40% off), the shoes have already sold out in sizes six and a half to nine with only three to six available - although as someone who owns a number of Dr Martens sandals, sizing down is often the way to go.
The Nartilla sandal can be styled for each individual as its laces can be fastened in multiple ways. Set on a lightweight Zebrilus sole punched with our classic yellow stitching, the sandals have a gladiator style which has a lace of the same colours that weaves through the upper sections before being wrapped around the ankles.

This style is a popular choice currently with a number of different brands offering a similar design - such as Schuh's Turner Tie in Black which is currently on sale for £20.99 from £35. While it's not quite so chunky as the Dr Martens version, it be lighter to wear and offers added comfort with its cushioned design.
For something that stands out a bit more, New Look has a gold iteration that really pops and offers 'understated glamour' with its Gold Faux Leather Lace Up Sandals. Costing £22.99 they're a more budget friendly option that also comes in a dark brown hue.

The Nartilla shoes are made with soft, medium-weight nubuck leather that is 'silky to touch', something a number of the brand's sandals are made with. The leather is so comfortable that shoppers have shared how they can wear the shoes for 'hours'. One person said: "I love them. They are my second pair. I also have them in brown. They are comfy, work with everything, and can wear them for hours."
Someone else added how they were 'easy to wear' and don't 'rub'. They wrote a five star review that read: "Love love love these DMS ! Easy to wear, didn't rub my feet and I got the size I am. Size 6. I've had to go up half size in a DM boot. But glad I stuck to my original size. The lace up the leg sits well, and you can tie it to the front or back, depending on how much string is left over!"
Another echoed this and said: "In love either these… surprisingly comfortable from day 1- I walked for hours on the first day with no pain! Leather is soft… sole gives all the support needed. Got a ton of compliments… Sized down as advised."

The shoes are 'so good' customers have snapped them up multiple times in different colours, with one Dr Martens fan raving: "So good I bought them twice! I already had these sandals in black and loved and wore them so much last summer that I bought them in the olive as well. Very comfortable and stylish and I feel they go with almost everything!"
It's important to note that the sandals are made from soft leather, so they're likely to loosen up a bit over time the more they're worn. One person discovered this and wasn't pleased, saying the shoes were "stretched and bad fitting."
Aside from this review, the rest of the comments have been four star and above on the Dr Marten website. The Nartilla Tumbled Nubuck Leather Gladiator Sandals are currently on sale at Dr Martens with 40% off.

Elsewhere in the sale, fans of the brand can get the Josef Nubuck Leather Slide Sandals in Powder Pink for £84 instead of £120. A great alternative to the popular Birkenstock Arizona sliders, £90, the Josef sandals have two leather straps and a comfortable suede-covered foam footbed.
For the lovers of mules, the brand's Zebzag Suede Casual Slingback Platform Mules have also been reduced from £110 to £77 in a handful of different colours, from sage green to twilight purple as well as its Slingback Hair-On Jorge Mules in zebra print, which are slightly more at £84 down from £140.

For more sandals, the brand's Gryphon Quad Leather Platform Sandals are now £90 down from £129 in the cream 'parchment beige' hue . With its signature brassware buckles and a chunky high-rise Quad sole, the sandals are made from a soft Pisa leather and finished with the brand's classic yellow welt stitching.
