Hollywood A-lister Reynolds posted a picture on Instagram of himself and fellow co-owner Rob McElhenney alongside Jones.

'I'm really glad I got to spend time with you,' wrote Reynolds, who completed his takeover of the club with McElhenney in 2021.
'Thanks for the stories. Condolences to his family, friends and Mickey (Thomas, Jones' close friend and former Wrexham team-mate). Rest up, Joey. Big second half coming up.'
Jones, who was capped 72 times by Wales, began his career with Wrexham in 1973 before moving to Liverpool, where he won two European Cups and a league title, two years later.
He returned to play at the Racecourse Ground between 1978 and 1982 and then ended his career with the club – from 1987 to 1992 – following stints with Chelsea and Huddersfield.

Josh Windass is tipped to sign for the Red Dragons on a free transfer this week following his departure from Sheffield Wednesday by mutual consent. The son of Hull City icon Dean, Windass is believed to have completed a medical on Monday having already agreed personal terms with Wrexham. Last season, the 31-year-old made waves in the Championship with Wednesday, bagging 13 goals and setting up five more. His imminent move is set to delight manager Phil Parkinson as he aims to bolster the squad after their promotion to the second tier in April. However, Windass may have amends to make upon meeting his new mates after the reappearance of a video showing him criticising Wrexham striker Ollie Palmer on social media. During a February 2024 episode of the Pitch Side podcast, Windass claimed he was "miles better" than Palmer, who has scored 44 times in 155 games for the club. Windass's brash remarks were in response to Palmer's assertion that he could net 20 goals a season in the Premier League if he played for Manchester City. He didn't hold back his thoughts, saying: "Ollie Palmer said he'd get 20 goals for City, didn't he? It's absolutely delusional at the highest level. No offence to Ollie Palmer." When asked if he could notch a few goals in the top flight himself, Windass responded: "But I'm miles better than Ollie Palmer. If I was getting 20 goals for Man City every year, I'd be playing for Man City. He [Palmer] doesn't even get 15 [for Wrexham]." Palmer has become a fan favourite at Wrexham since his transfer from Wimbledon in January 2022 for a record-breaking £300,000. His 17 goals were pivotal in Wrexham's ascent from the National League in 2023, where they clinched the title with an impressive 111 points. But Palmer's goal-scoring prowess waned last season, managing just three goals in 27 outings. Manager Parkinson left him out of the team in the latter half of the season following new attacking signings in January. The decision to sideline Palmer led to public criticism from his father. Andy Palmer, who previously served as a protection officer for the Royal Family, took to social media to challenge Parkinson to "swallow his pride" and give his son more game time. Tom Aspinall finally reveals opponent for first defence of UFC title
Tom Aspinall will make the first defence of his undisputed UFC heavyweight title against Ciryl Gane on October 25 in Abu Dhabi, the promotion has confirmed Tom Aspinall will defend his UFC heavyweight title against Ciryl Gane. Aspinall hasn't stepped into the ring since he defended his interim heavyweight belt against Curtis Blaydes last July in Manchester. After Jon Jones successfully defended the gold belt against Stipe Miocic last November, many speculated the American would face off against Aspinall in 2025. However, 'Bones' didn't publicly commit to fighting the Brit, leading fans to demand that the American be stripped of his title. Last month, Jones announced his retirement from the sport and Aspinall was officially promoted to undisputed champion. After months of anticipation, the 32 year old now has a fight and will take on Gane in the main event at UFC 321 on October 25 in Abu Dhabi - as confirmed by UFC boss Dana White. It's been a rollercoaster few years for Gane since he suffered his first professional defeat to Francis Ngannou back in 2022. The Frenchman bounced back in his next fight against Tai Tuivasa before falling short in his second title fight against Jones, reports All Out Fighting. The 35 year old then defeated Serghei Spivac in Paris back in September 2023. After taking a year-long break, the Frenchman returned to the cage last December, taking on Alexander Volkov. Gane emerged victorious, but the bout was overshadowed by controversy after many felt the Russian had done enough to win. Gane will be seeking to become world champion in his third attempt at the undisputed title. Whilst there were doubts surrounding the French heavyweight's previous outing, the same certainly cannot be said for Aspinall - who has been on a remarkable run in the UFC. Following a crushing injury in his initial bout with Blaydes, the Brit made his comeback after a year-long absence in 2023 and stopped Marcin Tybura. He subsequently captured the interim championship just months afterwards, defeating the formidable Sergei Pavlovich in barely over a minute. It has been more than a year since supporters have witnessed the Brit compete and he will be eager to compensate for the time lost. Despite declaring his retirement, Jones disclosed merely weeks afterwards that he has rejoined the testing programme and may be eyeing the victor ahead of his possible comeback next year. 'Bones' voiced his ambition to fight on the White House card next July, but White has dismissed the notion. During Saturday evening's UFC 318 post-fight press conference, White appeared to dash Jones' ambitions to feature on the historic fight card. "I can't risk putting him (Jones) in big positions, in a big spot and have something go wrong," said White. Especially the White House card." With Jones sidelined temporarily and Miocic having hung up his gloves, many are wondering if the UFC's heavyweight division has lost its spark, but Aspinall reckons the weight class remains as thrilling as ever. Speaking to All Out Fighting last month, he declared: "Every fight is different, so even if I have beaten somebody before, it is still exciting for me to fight in. It's heavyweight MMA, so, even though it might seem a bit stagnant, as soon as the guys get active again, it will be good!". White's Tuesday evening revelation about Aspinall wasn't the only bombshell the UFC chief dropped. The American also confirmed that Merab Dvalishvili will square off against Cory Sandhagen at UFC 320 on 4 October in Las Vegas. Additionally on the card, Alex Pereira will attempt to reclaim his light-heavyweight crown from Magomed Ankalaev, whilst a tantalising bout at 205lbs pits Khalil Rountree against Jiri Prochazka at the same event. When is Tom Aspinall vs Ciryl Gane? Aspinall's encounter with Gane is scheduled for October 25 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. The duo's battle will top the UFC 321 pay-per-view bill. Alexander Volkov and Jailton Almeida will also feature at the event - apparently vying for the top heavyweight challenger position. A light-heavyweight clash between Aleksandar Rakic and Azamat Murzakanov has been confirmed, with Mitch Raposo set to face off against Azat Maksum. The remainder of the card will be revealed soon, with whispers suggesting that Islam Makhachev's super-fight with Jack Della Maddalena might be on the cards. Official start times for the fights will be announced nearer the time, but it's expected that the main event will kick off around 10pm BST.

Alice Cooper dedicated his Cardiff show to 'legend' Ozzy Osbourne as shared an emotional tribute to one of rock n roll's 'giants'. The Black Sabbath musician passed away 'surrounded by love' on Tuesday morning at the age of 76, a statement from his family confirmed tonight. Fellow rocker Vincent Damon Furnier, known by his stage name Alice Cooper, dedicated his show to Ozzy as he took to the stage with his band in Wales on Tuesday. 'Well, we all know that time is going to take us rockers, but when the giants fall, it's really hard to accept,' he said on stage. 'Even though everybody saw it coming with Ozzy, it just took our breath away when it happened. 'So Ozzy and family - your records and your music and your legend and all that you brought - the humour to the rock business - will live on forever and we're gonna miss you man.' Elsewhere Alice and his band said: 'The whole world is mourning Ozzy tonight. Over his long career, he earned immense respect among his peers and from fans around the world as an unmatched showman and cultural icon. 'I always saw Ozzy as a cross between the prince of darkness, which is the persona his fans saw, and the court jester. That was the side that his family and friends saw. 'He was and will continue to be a rock n roll legend. Rock n Roll is a family and a fraternity. When we lose one of our own it bleeds. I wish I would have gotten to know my brother Ozzy better. 'Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and the rest of the Ozzy brood - our prayers are with you tonight. A titanic boulder has crashed, but rock will roll on.' Alice signed off an Instagram post with: 'Rest easy Ozzy and we'll see you on the other side! - Alice, Sheryl, Chuck, Ryan, Tommy, Nita, Glen and our entire crew.' Elsewhere Chris Martin also dedicated Coldplay's show at Nissan Stadium, Nashville, on Tuesday to Ozzy. He said: 'We'd like to dedicate this whole show to the incredible genius, talent, and character-full gift to the world who was Ozzy Osbourne. We send our love to his family.' Chris then sang a stripped down version of Black Sabbath's 1972 hit Changes, before saying: 'Ozzy, we love you, wherever you're going.' On Wednesday morning, keyboardist Rick Wakeman appeared on Radio 4 talking about his friendship with Ozzy, and admitted he didn't think The Osbournes star would have survived as long with Sharon. Talking about the rocker, he said: 'Ozzy hadn't been well. I met Sharon and Ozzy together when they got together in 1980, I went to a concert in upstate New York, one of Ozzy's very first solo shows. And that was when he was there with Sharon, who is lovely. At that time, everybody just thought Sharon was sort of acting on behalf of her father as the management. 'But Ozzy said to me, he said, "Things are going to change. Sharon and I are an item and will be forever. And she's going to take over my management." I remember saying to him, "Does her dad know? Because he's got quite a strong reputation", and he went "Not yet". I went right, "I don't want to be around when he does." 'He was very generous to Sharon and actually they fell out a lot- but Sharon was, I don't think Ozzy was… this might sound a bit awful, but I don't think Ozzy would have survived as long as he did had it not been for Sharon. Sharon in many ways saved Ozzy's life. For that she should be incredibly proud. 'Ozzy was cleverer than people think. When I did the Osmosis album with him in New York, I realised there was so much more to him musically than just being the front man in a heavy metal band. He knew what he wanted, he was very clever and he was also clever enough as far as the media were concerned to become a caricature of himself.' The Osbourne family announced Ozzy's death in a statement which read: 'It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. 'He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.' Tributes flooded in last night, with musical legend Sir Elton saying Ozzy was a 'huge trailblazer' who 'secured his place in the pantheon of rock gods'. He posted on Instagram: 'So sad to hear the news of Ozzy Osbourne passing away. He was a dear friend and a huge trailblazer who secured his place in the pantheon of rock gods - a true legend. 'He was also one of the funniest people I've ever met. I will miss him dearly. To Sharon and the family, I send my condolences and love. Elton xx.' After sharing the stage at Villa Park in Birmingham, Ronnie Wood said he is 'very sad' to learn of Ozzy's death. The Rolling Stone posted on X: 'I am so very sad to hear of the death of Ozzy Osbourne. What a lovely goodbye concert he had at Back To The Beginning in Birmingham.' Ozzy's Black Sabbath bandmates declared 'Ozzy forever!' in a powerful tribute to the icon on X. American actor Jason Momoa, 45, who joined the the Black Sabbath frontman on stage at Villa Park in Birmingham less than three weeks ago, also paid tribute. Sharing an emotional message to his 'family', Jason shared a photo on Instagram with Sharon and Ozzy back stage at the concert. He wrote: 'Love you @ozzyosbourne All my aloha @sharonosbourne and ohana. So grateful. RIP'. The rocker was able to bid an emotional farewell to his fans on stage this month as he reunited with his original Black Sabbath bandmates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward for the first time since 2005. 'You've no idea how I feel - thank you from the bottom of my heart,' Osbourne told the crowd in his final speech. With 42,000 fans packed into Birmingham's Villa Park, heavy metal pioneers Black Sabbath returned to the stage for Ozzy's farewell show - the band's first live performance since 2005. They were joined onstage by a host of celebrity friends, among them Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler.
