Justin Fields Reveals 'Toughest Thing' About Major Move to New York
New York Jets quarterback Justin Fields is settling into his new surroundings rather well, and as training camp approaches, head coach Aaron Glenn is beginning to get his point across.

For Fields, he has stumbled around the league in his four years, starting with the Chicago Bears, to the Pittsburgh Steelers last year, and is now with the Jets.
Some think Justin might be on his last chance at staking a claim to be a starting-caliber quarterback in football, but to do that, he must play well, and that starts on the practice field.
And as Fields explains, it has been quite a process getting to know everything about the franchise and his new teammates.
"It's been good," Fields said via the team's official website. "Of course this is my third team in the last three years, so last year pretty much was the same thing. But I'm definitely grateful for those experiences and kind of took those two experiences and brought them here. The process has been good so far. When I first got here, just trying to learn everybody's name was the toughest thing for me. But as time goes along, you just start building those relationships with the different people around the building and stuff like that, but the process has been great."

Fields will be tasked with leading Tanner Engstrand's offense and has his old Ohio State teammate Garrett Wilson and running back Breece Hall as his go-to weapons, and to get the best out of those two players, chemistry must be built during the offseason.
With training camp on the horizon, we will get to see how Fields is progressing in learning Engstrand's system, as well as how he and his teammates gel on the field.
Not many are expecting big things from Glenn's Jets in 2025, with the cultural foundation Glenn is building being the key focus in Year 1, and it appears Justin is pleased with how things are progressing right now.

Of course, he or the Jets haven't hit true adversity yet; that will come, but so far this offseason, Fields and his new team appear to be a good match - let's see if it produces something substantial on the field.

Should the Boston Celtics keep Anfernee Simons and Georges Niang?
Should the Boston Celtics keep Anfernee Simons and Georges Niang? The Celtics shook up their roster early in the start of the 2025 NBA offseason, electing to deal away veterans Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis to get below the dreaded second apron and the penalties the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) has it threatening Boston with. In return, they picked up Simons, a former Portland Trail Blazers guard, and Niang, a reserve forward who last played for the Atlanta Hawks. Since the Celtics have made those moves, there has been speculation that the team may choose to move one or even both of these two players individually for even further savings and future assets. Is there a case to hold onto either or both of these new acquisitions to the team? Advertisement The folks behind the "NESN" YouTube channel put together a clip from their "Hold my Banner" show that had hosts Adam Pellerin and Ountae Campbell take a closer look at whether retaining either makes sense for Boston. Check it out below! This article originally appeared on Celtics Wire: Should the Celtics keep Anfernee Simons and Georges Niang?

Rams' 25 most important players for 2025 – No. 17: S Kamren Curl
Curl was one of the best safeties in the NFL toward the end of last season Kamren Curl was viewed as one of the most underrated safeties in the league during his time in Washington but the Rams recognized his talent and brought him to Los Angeles as one of their starting safeties. He had an immediate impact on defense, becoming a leader in the secondary and an every-down player. His value to the Rams remains high in 2025 as he enters Year 2 with the team, returning as a key piece of a secondary with good upside. On our list of the 25 most important players for 2025, Curl checks in at No. 17. How he got here After four years in Washington, Curl signed with the Rams last offseason. He inked a two-year deal for a modest $9 million, a terrific value for the team. He's entering the final year of his contract and is set to become a free agent in 2026. 2024 stats 16 games (16 starts): 79 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 forced fumble, 9 passes defensed, 38 targets, 26 receptions, 354 yards allowed Projected role Curl played almost every snap when he was healthy last season, staying on the field for 100% of the plays in 11 of his 16 regular-season games played. He should continue to play almost every snap in 2025 as the Rams' top safety, lining up deep and near the box. He and Kamren Kinchens are almost interchangeable in terms of being free and strong safeties, so Chris Shula has options on the back end. Curl seemed to be at his best when playing in the box and around the line of scrimmage, so that's where the Rams should line him up most often. Don't expect many turnovers or interceptions from the sixth-year safety but he's a sure tackler and has an impact in run defense. Why he's important Curl may not be a ball hawk or a turnover machine, but he has a great understanding of the Rams' defense, as well as what opposing offenses are trying to do. That allows him to make smart reads at the snap, whether he's dropping back into zone coverage or setting the edge as a run defender. The Rams are extremely inexperienced at safety outside of Curl, so they need him to continue playing at a high level and remain available. 6 most explosive Cowboys heading into the 2025 season includes two defenders
THERE GOES CEEDEE FOR THE 65-YARD SCORE 🔥💿(via @NFL) The Fourth of July is known for fireworks, and with the Dallas Cowboys known as America's Team, it feels like an appropriate weekend to identify their most explosive players. The Cowboys weren't a team that excelled in lighting up the scoreboard in 2024, but this offseason has changed the outlook for 2025. With a healthy Dak Prescott back at quarterback, the offense could return to grilling up 40-burgers once again. The Cowboys added speed and explosive pieces to a team that already had some playmakers, which should make them fun to watch; and it's not just on offense where the team has exciting players. Here's a look at the six most explosive players on the Cowboys. He might not be known as a speedster, but when the All-Pro wide receiver has the ball in his hands, he makes big plays. Lamb gets open with ease and if he makes a defender miss, he's off to the races and rarely caught. Lamb has eight touchdowns of at least 40 yards in career, a number that swells to 11 if including scores of at least 35 yards. He's a premiere WR and a threat to score anytime he touches the ball. One of the biggest pieces the offense added in the offseason was trading for the vertical threat who thrives on big plays. Pickens dominates as a deep-ball WR who makes contested catches without needing a ton of separation. Vertical route % in '23…(Minimum 50 receptions)1. George Pickens (44.9%)2. Darius Slayton (43.8%)3. DK Metcalf (42.4%)4. DeAndre Hopkins (41.5%)5. Mike Evans (41.4%) The Cowboys needed a WR who could win down the field and Pickens was the perfect player for their offense. Pickens led the NFL in yards per catch at 18.1 in 2023, and he did that without a top-tier quarterback. Finally pairing Pickens with a top caliber QB like Prescott means fans should expect fireworks. One of the more overlooked playmakers in Dallas is their kick return specialist, who also contributes on offense. Turpin is an All-Pro kick returner who scored on both punt and kick returns last season. KaVontae Turpin goes 99 yards for the TD 🔥📺: #DALvsWAS on FOX📱: Turpin has grown as a WR in each of his three years with the Cowboys and can also be used out of the backfield. The speedy, twitchy Turpin has found the end zone as a receiver five times, as well as a runner once, making him one of the most versatile and explosive players on the roster. The rookie RB hasn't made a play in the NFL yet, but his speed and explosion will make defenses sweat. Blue had the second-fastest 40-yard time at the combine, running a 4.38 and he plays to his elite timed speed. JAYDON BLUE, HOW DO YOU DO?!?! 🔥A 77-YARD TOUCHDOWN TO MAKE IT A TWO-SCORE GAME VS. CLEMSON 😱 Blue not only excels as a runner, but also creates big plays in the passing game, making him a significant threat out of the backfield. The Cowboys desperately needed speed at RB, and Blue is a great fit as he will scare defenses, and the rookie RB can score anytime he touches it, from anywhere on the field. It's not just on offense where the Cowboys have playmakers. On the defensive side of the ball, Parsons brings elite speed and athleticism. There aren't many pass rushers who can turn the corner and pursue the QB like Parsons, who has begun his career with four consecutive double-digit sack seasons. #Cowboys DE Micah Parsons has his 30th career sack. Parsons is a game-wrecker on defense who needs to be accounted for on each snap. The perennial All-Pro also has a touchdown on a fumble return that showcased his special athletic ability. Many may not think of Bland as an explosive player, but one doesn't luck into the record holder for pick-sixes in a season without being a playmaker. Bland had 14 interceptions in his first two years, before not securing a pick last season when he missed the first 10 games due to injury. Being a ballhawk is great for the defense, but being able to turn those turnovers into points is a special trait. INT No. 6️⃣Pick-six No. 4️⃣ @DaRon_Bland 😱 He didn't have an impact last year, but that should change in 2025; Bland is one of the real big play options on the Cowboys' defense.
