, passed away at the age of 71 in Thiruvananthapuram late Monday night. He was suffering from kidney-related ailments at a private hospital and breathed his last a few hours after being admitted. The actor was living in a flat near Akashvani, Vazhuthacaud.
Carving a path of his own
Shanavas debuted in films in 1981 with 'Premageethangal', directed by Balachandra Menon. At the time he was persuing his MA in English Literature at New College, Chennai.
