Kannappa OTT release: Kannappa, one of the most eagerly awaited pan-India films of the year, hit the screens on June 27 and opened to a good response at the Indian box office. According to Sacnilk, it earned Rs 9 crore (nett) on the first day. The action drama will premiere on an OTT after its run in theatres. Here's an update on when you can expect the biggie on a streaming platform. Kannappa may arrive on OTT in September Vishnu Manchu is in the limelight because of Kannappa, the biggest film of his career. He recently revealed that the film's OTT rights are yet to be sold as he wants it to get an extended run in theatres. 'I have a very large freedom; my movie will not come to OTT before 10 weeks. That is the deal I have, and by God's grace, I don't have any release pressure. My only intention is to showcase the best to the audience,' he was quoted as saying by India Today. He further confirmed that Kannappa will be available on a streaming platform around 10 weeks after its theatrical release, As such, one can expect it to be available on an OTT platform around September 11.
