Oliver Antman to Rangers transfer hampered by Celtic as Jakob Breum stance made clear by agent
Go Ahead Eagles' CEO Jan Willem van Dop had declared that the club will only sell one of Oliver Antman and Jakob Breum this summer. It comes with both Rangers showing interesting in Finnish international Antman - while Celtic have seen bids turned down for Dane Breum already this summer. A fee of around £5million has been reported for Antman after he netted seven goals and an impressive 17 assists to help fire his club to Dutch Cup glory last term. READ MORE: Three emerging Celtic transfer headlines as Ambrosino gets second chance and Hoops 'lead' chasing pack for Man City kid READ MORE: Jamie Vardy to Celtic transfer can't be ruled out amid 'box office' endorsement The Eagles are reported to be expecting an offer from the Scottish Premiership side for the 23-year-old. And when speaking to De Oosttribune, Van Dop insisted the club would not sell both of their key men. Asked about interest from the Glasgow giants in Breum and Antman, he responded: "Those are the guys who are in the spotlight. I think one of them will ultimately leave." The comments come after Breum's agent has told the Dutch club his client wants to join Celtic this summer. But the Scottish champions have been warned they must stump up the cash to sign the 21-year-old. The Hoops are in need of reinforcements on the flanks after Nicolas Kuhn joined Como in a £17.2million deal - while Jota is sidelined until next year. Van Dop insists the club won't sell on the cheap - having already knocked back a more substantial bid from FC Twente: "There was a question (from FC Twente), and that was about Jakob Breum. That's negotiable, but only if the price is right. "And we couldn't reach an agreement on that. What I did find positive was that his thoughts were certainly higher than the official offer Celtic ever made. "I've told Celtic that we won't be accepting their offer. I spoke to Breum's agent on the phone Monday morning, and he hopes he'll go that route. "We're certainly not the most difficult club, but it has to be a good fit. "And if we can't reach a financial agreement, we also have the right to say: well, it's not going to happen." Asked if the club had set an asking price in the region of £5.1million, he cryptically added: "We've set a ceiling." Hamilton Accies fans' chief 'fears administration' over tax and wages issues
Hamilton Accies fans' chief David Equi fears financial mismanagement will lead to the club going into administration, and doubts they will see the season out. The club have been handed a season-long transfer embargo and fined £7,500 after admitting to three counts of failing to notify the SPFL it had been in default of its tax obligations to HMRC. Accies Supporters' Association chairman David Equi is worried that should the club fail to properly pay players on July 31, the club could be placed into administration, and reckons only a mystery investor can rescue them. He said: 'How can they blame turmoil in the last two years for the problems – they've been running it for two years, that's their responsibility. 'These are all recent offences and as far as I'm aware the most serious offence at the SFA and SPFL is not notifying them of tax breaches – doing that three times is serial incompetence. 'The wages are due on July 31, and if they can't pay them, that will be the club gone, they will be straight into administration. 'I think administration is an incredibly serious threat, and I think we're unlikely to last the season. READ MORE: Hamilton Accies admit 'serious weaknesses in our finance and administration' following player ban READ MORE: Accies' fans group lashes out at 'alarming managerial and operational failures' after transfer ban 'I'm very worried about this – we could end up completely out the league forever, in the near future. 'I'm massively concerned, and we as a supporters' group have heard there are other things in the pipeline from the SPFL as well. 'I really fear administration. We're always told there's investment round the corner, new directors coming on, but we've been hearing this for a while. 'The only way round it is if a mystery investor comes in immediately. We're not ruling that out, but if you were an investor, would you touch them?' ASA have organised a peaceful protest outside Broadwood ahead of the club's League One curtain-raiser at home to Montrose on August 2. Mr Equi said: 'I'm Accies through and through, I've been going for 50-odd years, and I know loads of people who have stopped going, because they're sickened of it. 'There are plenty of people who are going to Broadwood on August 2, who are not going in to the game. 'As fans, they treat us with total disdain, and we feel really strongly about it.'

Strategy Stock Price Could Nearly Double as Bitcoin Treasury Aims to Dominate Market: Benchmark
Benchmark analyst Mark Palmer reiterated his buy rating for Bitcoin giant Strategy, raising the firm's price target for MSTR to $705, an 85% increase from its current share price. The new target hinges on a projection that Bitcoin will reach $225,000 by the end of 2026. After reporting $10 billion in net income in Q2—almost entirely unrealized gains on its $71 billion Bitcoin holdings—the company's stock is trading around $379.71, according to Yahoo Finance. That marks a 4% drop since the opening bell. Palmer said MSTR may be remembered less for its "eye-popping" earnings and more for its ambitions "to become not just the dominant Bitcoin treasury company, but the world's largest corporate treasury, full stop." CEO Phong Le said during yesterday's earnings call that the company aims for its treasury to top that of Microsoft, Google, and Amazon in the next three to five years. And he added that eventually he wants to exceed that of the largest corporate treasury: Berkshire Hathaway's $410 billion in cash and cash equivalents. Palmer also noted a big shift in how the company plans to fund its Bitcoin treasury growth, by retiring its convertible debt and replacing it with a preferred-stock-focused funding model. Saylor said during last night's earnings call that convertible notes, which it was using as recently as November 2024, was an appropriate instrument for MSTR's earlier stages of Bitcoin acquisition. But in January, the company redeemed $1 billion in convertible notes in an effort to reduce its leverage. The Benchmark note also called attention to Strategy's new approach to issuing common equity, only selling shares when its stock trades at a premium to the calculated per-share value of its Bitcoin and operating assets. Strategy Reports $10 Billion Q2 Profit, Plans to Raise $4.2 Billion to Buy More Bitcoin "The upshot is that MSTR is not just buying Bitcoin anymore, but instead engineering a corporate treasury machine designed to generate Bitcoin-denominated returns, manage its capital raises with precision, and scale faster," Palmer wrote. At the time of writing, though, Bitcoin has been battered with the rest of the crypto market and equities. BTC is currently changing hands for $114,950 after having dropped 3.1% in the past day. And spot trading volume in the past day has shot up to $57 billion, according to price aggregator CoinGecko. Meanwhile, the broader crypto global market capitalization has sunk 8% since Thursday, sitting now at $3.8 trillion. Sign in to access your portfolio
