Britney Spears reveals latest mishap months after burning her bathroom and nearly losing eyebrows to fireplace
The 43-year-old singer took to Instagram on Wednesday, sharing a video without sound of her in posing in a black minidress with red hearts.
The caption gave fans pause, however, as she spoke about being confused by a new car she just bought, that seemingly nearly lead to her hitting her own house, which comes months after she casually mentioned burning her bathroom.
'Got a new car but I hate it. The roof doesn't come off, WTF !!! The pedals are not like my old car at all. I almost ran into my house, oh well,' she casually said.
Spears didn't specify what kind of car she just bought, though she added, 'I live in the baby pool now, it is my fountain of youth because the water is cold !!!'
'In my pool I got far too sick because it was 100 degrees... no thank you !!! I need 7 water parks outside my house !!!' she continued.
She concluded the post by promising, 'I will show you guys my new garden soon... It's unbelievable if I must say so myself !!!'
The post has over 50K likes though the singer still has her comments turned off so her 41.7 million followers can't comment on her posts.
Back in March, she sparked concerns from fans when she casually mentioned that she burned her bathroom in the caption of a video of her dancing by a fireplace.
The singer shared a video of her dancing in front of a fireplace wearing a cheetah-print bodysuit with high heel black boots.
The caption, however, gave fans pause, when she said, 'I dropped four sizes putting the cheetah on — Haven't danced in a while !!! I burned my bathroom down today, ran like a maniac back to the house because there was a pie in the oven and I'm honestly tired of making sense of things these days !!!'
Then back in September, she opened up about a scary incident that left her with a facial burn after trying to turn her fireplace on.
'Six months ago something happened that was really, really dangerous. I was in my room and I turned the fire on and all of a sudden it blew up in my face,' she said.
The singer said the issue had happened in the past and she typically had her security ignite the fireplace.
She added with a giggle, 'But this time I just threw the whole thing in there and it literally blew into my face and it took all my eyelashes off, my eyebrows. And see this baby hair? These baby bangs? This is from basically six months ago.'
Britney said she was worried she was going to have to go to the emergency room during the accident.
'It's all my hair. And the person I was with would just not wake up and I thought I was going to have to go to the emergency room and all that 'cause my face was like on fire! I was like wait - third degree, second degree burns, like what can happen? Cause my whole face went in,' she said.
The singer added, 'But then it hurt to even touch my phone. It hurt to put ice on my face. It hurt anything to just touch it. So this lasted for like six or seven hours. It happened at like three o' clock in the morning. The pain never went away. It was so, so, so bad.'

'And then so finally I took three Tylenols, which is like... Tylenol is like a really, really big deal for me. It's like a f**king Vicodin or something. But I took three and finally I went to sleep. But yeah it was really bad. All is good now.'
Back in April 2020, Spears revealed that she nearly burned down her home gym after a mishap involving two candles.
'It was an accident... but yes... I burnt it down. I walked past the door to the gym and flames... BOOM!!!!' she said.
The 38-year-old singer added that 'by the Grace of God the alarm went off' and nobody got hurt during the serious incident.

Flaco Jimenez, Texas accordionist who expanded popularity of conjunto and Tejano music, dies at 86
Flaco Jimenez, the legendary accordionist from San Antonio who won multiple Grammys and helped expand the popularity of conjunto, Tejano and Tex-Mex music, died Thursday. He was 86. Jimenez's death was announced Thursday evening by his family on social media. 'It is with great sadness that we share tonight the loss of our father, Flaco Jimenez. He was surrounded by his loved ones and will be missed immensely. Thank you to all of his fans and friends—those who cherished his music. And a big thank you for all of the memories. His legacy will live on through his music and all of his fans,' Jimenez's family said in a statement. His family did not disclose a cause of death. Jimenez's family had announced in January that he had been hospitalized and had been 'facing a medical hurdle.' His family did not provide any other information on his medical condition at the time. Born Leonardo Jimenez in 1939, he was known to his fans by his nickname of Flaco, which means skinny in Spanish. He was the son of conjunto pioneer Santiago Jimenez. Conjunto is a musical genre that originated in South Texas and blends different genres and cultural influences. According to the Butler School of Music at the University of Texas at Austin, the development of conjunto 'began more than a century ago when Texans of Mexican heritage (Tejanos) took an interest in the accordion music of German, Polish, and Czech immigrants. The ensuing Tejano accordion music, accompanied by the bajo sexto (replacing the European tuba) soon came to represent the Tejano way of life, which was closely associated with working in the agricultural fields. The music remains unchanged and serves as a symbol that binds many Tejano communities in South and Central Texas.' Jimenez refined his conjunto musical skills by playing in San Antonio saloons and dance halls. He began performing in the 1960s with fellow San Antonio native Douglas Sahm, the founding member of the Sir Douglas Quintet. Jimenez also played with Bob Dylan, Dr. John and Ry Cooder. Throughout his career, Jimenez added other influences into conjunto music, including from country, rock and jazz. In the 1990s, Jimenez was part of the Tejano supergroup the Texas Tornados, which included Sahm, Augie Meyers and Freddy Fender. The group won a Grammy in 1991 for the song, 'Soy de San Luis.' Jimenez also won another Grammy in 1999 as part of another supergroup, Los Super Seven. Jimenez earned five Grammys and was awarded a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015. He was also inducted into the National Hispanic Hall of Fame and NYC International Latin Music Hall of Fame and was named a Texas State Musician in 2014. When Jimenez was named a 2022 National Medal of Arts recipient, the White House said he was being honored for 'harnessing heritage to enrich American music' and that by 'blending Norteño, Tex Mex, and Tejano music with the Blues, Rock n' Roll, and Pop Music, he sings the soul of America's Southwest.' 'Flaco, your legacy will forever be remembered with fond memories. We appreciate the gift of your musical talent, which brought joy to countless fans. Your passing leaves a void in our hearts,' the Texas Conjunto Music Hall of Fame and Museum said in a post on social media. Kyle Young, the CEO of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee, said Jimenez 'was a paragon of Tejano conjunto music.' I tested best supermarket wine dupes – Whispering Angel copy was delicious and only cost £13
IS it worth paying more for a bottle of well-known wine? Supermarket Aldi is currently selling its own offerings at up to 51 per cent less than popular brands. And it's not the only place you can get all the taste of posher plonks at a bargain price. 17 From celebrity pinks to cellar-worthy reds, here drinks expert Helena Nicklin gives us her pick of the best big-name wine dupes. Seek them out in stores to see if you can tell the difference when you are sipping. Brand: Whispering Angel, £22 Dupe: Screaming Devil Rosé, £12.97, Asda 17 WITH its excellent tongue-in-cheek name and at almost exactly half the price of the very famous and very pricey French pink, you know exactly where the plonk producers were aiming here. And the best bit is that it's not all about the great pun on the label as once it's in the glass this rosé is also very good to glug. Another Cotes de Provence like Whispering Angel, it hails from the south of France and just like the winged bottle, Asda's tribute has a similar elegant salmon-pink colour. With subtle peach and strawberry notes and a delightful salty tang, it's great stuff and slips down easily on a summery day. Rating: 4/5. Brand: Bread & Butter Chardonnay, £16 Dupe: Butter Side Up Chardonnay, £8.98, Asda 17 Blind tasting some of football biggest names to see who is the GOAT on and off the pitch WINE drinkers love the Bread & Butter-branded bottle of Californian white because it does exactly what it says on the tin – which is to offer an unapologetically bold, toasty and buttery chardonnay. But all of that doesn't come in cheap with the Napa Valley tipple retailing at not far off £20 a bottle. This Asda tribute aims to do the same and the clue is in the name as to where the influence for its flavours come from. It also hails from America's most famous wine region. But it's a shame this Californian copycat slightly misses the mark when it comes to balance, as the vanilla here feels a bit fake. My advice would be to drink it very cold or it can feel a tad sickly. Old fashioned but still great for those who love that creamy, comfort pudding- style of white wine. Rating: 2/5. Brand: Villa Antinori Toscana Rosso, £20 Dupe: Toscana Rosso, £7.25, Aldi ALDI knows a thing or two about creating decent dupes, and for this wine tribute it has gone properly classy with a more subtle version of a famous, posh Italian tipple that would set you back more than double the money. Luckily their version retails at a far more affordable price. It's made with a blend of international grapes including Tuscany's own sangiovese, which is the grape used to make chianti. This tribute tipple gives spiced, sour cherry and cocoa powder vibes like the original expensive Toscano Rosso, but with a tad more fruitiness and not quite as much going on. Still, it's a great red, ideal for sipping with spag bol and pizza – and the money you'll have saved will pay for a whole basket of goodies. Rating: 4/5. Brand: Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc, £26.50 Dupe: Deluxe New Zealand Sauv Blanc, £8.49, Lidl THE famous Cloudy Bay white was the first to cause ripples with its fantastic branded Marlborough Sauvignon and I would say that it changed the wine world as a result. It became famous for a reason and certainly isn't a premium plonk you'd say no to. But it is very expensive even on a supermarket shelf and unfortunately for them, other producers are now catching up. That's good news for sippers on a budget though. This Lidl tribute tipple is exceptional for the price, giving you all the zesty citrus, cut grass and tropical notes you'd expect from high-end Cloudy Bay without being too much. In a taste test, this would give Cloudy Bay a real run for its money. Rating: 4/5. Brand: Louis Latour Bourgogne Pinot Noir, £21 Dupe: Tradition Pinot Noir, £7.99, Lidl FRANCE'S Burgundy region – which translates to Bourgogne in French – is the spiritual home of pinot noir, and Louis Latour is a big name in this field. A premium heritage with proper credibility and wine buff appeal, this name produces fine plonks and that means sipping one of these famous tipples will start from a high price base. At £21 a bottle it's seriously spendy even if it is one of their cheapest. This Lidl Burgundy is clearly a blend of lesser grapes from around the region but in my opinion that actually gives it a more accessible – if a bit rustic – juicy profile, with ripe, cherry spice. It looks the part, too. A top tribute for a fraction of the price. Rating: 3/5. Brand: Miraval Rosé, £20 Dupe: Monalie Rosé, £9.99, Lidl YOU have to hand it to Lidl for going all out with this Stars In Their Eyes-style blatant dupe of Brad Pitt's marvellous, Miraval pink wine. The bottle shape, label and capsule are all very familiar, bearing an uncanny resemblance to the A-lister vineyard's tipples. And to be fair it's not just a pretty packaging copycat, as the wine in the bottle is decent too. Another Cotes de Provence, just like Miraval, but for half the price of its more famous friend. This is equally dry and elegant, though perhaps a little less charming and less fruity. It might not be made by a star, but it's decidedly drinkable and looks posh. And for half the price, too. Rating: 3/5. Dupe: Coonawarra Barossa Cabernet, £6.69, Aldi THE uncanny likeness of this label from Aldi to the posh sip makes even wine experts like me look twice. The resemblance is certainly remarkable on the shelf. Australian brand Penfolds really sets the benchmark for premium shiraz from Down Under and its Max's cab sauv is something special. It's well worth treating yourself too, but at £22 a time it's hardly a budget bottle. This brilliantly blatant copy from Aldi does a great job with a fudgy, blackcurrant and eucalyptus-scented cabernet for an incredible £6.69. Okay, it hasn't quite got the same class and is a touch sweeter, but it's still cracking in its own right for the super-low price tag. And you can tell it's really from Barossa too, rather than being a generic, sugary blend. Rating: 5/5. Brand: Kylie Signature Rosé, £10 Dupe: Rosalie Rosé, £4.99, Aldi IF you squint, the squiggle on the label could be Kylie's autograph and Aldi's Rosalie also has a very similar-shaped bottle so you'd be forgiven for grabbing the copycat without realising. Kylie's vino is from the Languedoc region of France, however, and is a bit juicier and more generous than the prim and proper pinks of Provence, which is probably why it sells so well. The Rosalie is Provencal, but sadly that's not an upside as it proves why wine from here should never be this cheap-tasting, boggy and unfresh. A great dupe when it comes to doing a double take on the shelf, but when it comes to sipping I'd suggest you try other budget Languedoc pinks that give more Kylie-style flavours for less. Rating: 2/5.
