Safe to say the team-building aspect of having minicamp in Maui was a success
Sean McVay mentioned this week in Maui that the Los Angeles Rams have the makings of a 'really special group' with the work ethic and camaraderie they've shown this offseason. This video of players singing karaoke at a bar perfectly encapsulates what the head coach is talking about.
After wrapping up minicamp, several players stayed in Hawaii a bit longer to take in the culture on the beautiful island of Maui. A video was shared on TikTok of the Rams singing 'Unwritten' by Natasha Bedingfield at a local bar and they were having the time of their lives.
Braden Fiske, Jordan Whittington and Larrell Murchison were among those in the video, all belting out the words to the hit song.
NFL on FOX shared the video on Instagram, as well.
McVay said he didn't know how much actual work the Rams would get done in Maui, indicating it was more about experiencing the culture and community as a team, and he was probably right. The team-building aspect of the trip certainly seems to have been a success.

The skies were clear but lightning figuratively struck twice Saturday at Detroit Golf Club as a second golfer in the 2025 Rocket Classic made three eagles in one round. Atlanta native Davis Thompson, 26, became the second golfer in two days to drop three eagles in a single round at the PGA Tour's Rocket Classic in Detroit during Saturday's action. Before Philip Knowles did it Friday in the second round, the feat had never been accomplished during the previous six years of the Rocket. It had only happened once on the PGA Tour in 2025: Chandler Phillips did it in Round 1 at the Players Championship. Thompson's three eagles were even more rare because all three came on the front nine — in his first eight holes. Thompson, who started the day at 8-under, six shots back of the leaders, had his first eagle on the first hole, where he hit a 303-yard drive. His 80-yard wedge fell in for a deuce on the short par-4. He sank a birdie on the par-5 fourth, bogeyed Nos. 5 and 6, and then made back-to-back eagles on the par-5 seventh and short par-4 eighth. No. 7 has been a popular eagle this week, and Thompson took advantage. A 316-yard drive and 234-yard approach shot gave him a 37-foot putt, which he drained to recover from the bogeys. The 352-yard par-4 eighth hole is guarded by sand traps on each side, and though many players have birdied it, Thompson defeated the hole by simply driving the ball 344 yards to 7 feet. He capitalized with his third eagle of the day to climb to 5 under par on the round and 13-under total. He bogeyed the par-3 ninth to shoot a 4-under 32 on the front. Thompson then bounced back with a birdie on the par-4 No. 10. Thompson moved up 32 spots with his performance on the front nine and inside the top 10 as the leaders teed off. Now as Wimbledon is about to start, Gauff is hoping everyone else can also forget what the top-ranked Sabalenka said in the wake of her loss to the American at Roland-Garros. A day after dancing together on Wimbledon's Centre Court in a TikTok video, the two tennis players faced more questions on Saturday about the aftermath of Sabalenka's comments right after the final, when she said her loss had more to do with her own mistakes than Gauff's performance. The Belarusian later wrote to apologize to Gauff and said her comments were 'unprofessional,' but not before she faced some major backlash from fans and pundits — especially in the United States. Gauff is trying to make sure the criticism stops. 'I'm not the person that will fuel hate in the world,' said Gauff, who opens her Wimbledon campaign against Dayana Yastremska on Tuesday. 'I think people were taking it too far. … It was just really targeting and saying a lot of things that I felt were not nice. I didn't want to fuel that more.' Sabalenka, who faces Carson Branstine on No. 1 Court on Monday, said she hopes the TikTok video shows that all is well between the two. 'We are good, we are friends,' the three-time major winner said. 'I hope the U.S. media can be easy on me right now.' Sabalenka reiterated that she never meant to offend Gauff.
