This time around, it was a majority verdict back at New York's Madison Square Garden where the rivalry began.
Final punch stats revealed by Netflix showed that both landed 70 punches each throughout the ten rounds.
Serrano threw 382 compared to Taylor's 231 but the Irish icon landed 57 of her power shots while her great rival scored with 49.
In terms of jabs, Taylor threw 94 and landed with 13 compared to Serrano's 217 thrown and 21 connecting.
The scorecards read 95-95 and 97-93 twice with Taylor closing out the rivalry in decisive fashion.
Taylor, 39, said: "I just want to thank Amanda Serrano as well, what an amazing fighter, we've made history here.
'I thought I boxed very smart, very well. She wasn't catching me with much.
'It was obviously very, very close. Just thank God my hand was raised. I planned to come in here and be disciplined and smart.
'I executed the game plan very well. Total respect for Amanda, what a warrior. I love you all, I love my country. Thank you so much.'
Serrano, 36, said: 'We tried something different, it was all about working smarter, not harder.
'I tried to keep my distance because apparently it didn't worth the first two fights. So we tried to stick with the long punches and it just wasn't enough.
'I don't know, I have to go back and watch it. My team told me they think I won, I'm going to believe what they tell me.
'I was really trying to apply what they were telling me. I really want to support every single one of you for coming out and supporting me and women's boxing.
'What an amazing night for all of us women. I'm crying at the support, thanks to all of you.
'Thank you Jake Paul, you've changed my life. Thank you Netflix for showcasing us warriors.
'Thank you Katie Taylor for an incredible 30 rounds, it's been a true honour.'

Reds head into All-Star break with 50 wins after rallying past Rockies
July 13 - TJ Friedl homered, singled and scored three times as the Cincinnati Reds beat the visiting Colorado Rockies 4-2 to give Terry Francona the 2,000th win of his managerial career. Francona is the 13th manager in major league history with 2,000 victories. Matt McLain and Austin Hays also had two hits and Emilio Pagan picked up his 20th save for Cincinnati, which won its 50th game heading into the All-Star break. Ryan Ritter had two hits for Colorado, which stayed on pace to break the modern-era record for losses, set by the 2024 Chicago White Sox. The Rockies have 22 victories at the end of the first half of the season, five less than Chicago did at the same point a year ago. The Reds took the lead when Friedl led off the bottom of the first with his ninth home run of the season, but Colorado responded in the third. Kyle Farmer and Austin Nola led off with singles and moved up a base on Ritter's sacrifice bunt. Mickey Moniak then drove them both in with a two-out single to left to give the Rockies a 2-1 lead. Cincinnati tied it in the bottom of the frame when Elly De La Cruz beat a relay to first to stay out of an inning-ending double play. That allowed Hays to single up the middle to score Friedl. The Reds took the lead again in the fifth when they loaded the bases on singles by Friedl, McLain and Hays, chasing starter Austin Gomber. Reliever Jimmy Herget got Spencer Steer on a pop-out, but Ritter misplayed Noelvi Marte's grounder to short, allowing Friedl to score from third. Gomber (0-3) remained winless in seven starts this season. He allowed three runs -- two earned -- on six hits over 4 1/3 innings. Cincinnati tacked on a run in the seventh when Cruz led off with a double, advanced to third on an error and scored on Steer's single to right. That was enough for starter Nick Martinez (7-9) to earn the victory. He allowed two runs on five hits in 5 1/3 innings of work. --Field Level Media

Red Sox complete four-game sweep of Rays, win streak at 10
July 13 - Ceddanne Rafaela hit a two-run home run to help the Boston Red Sox stretch their winning streak to 10 games by beating the visiting Tampa Bay Rays 4-1 on Sunday. Rafaela's home run came against Tampa Bay starting pitcher Ryan Pepiot and gave the Red Sox a 4-1 lead in the sixth inning. It was his 14th home run of the season and his fifth in his last eight games. Boston's Brayan Bello (6-3) held the Rays to one run on five hits in 6 1/3 innings. He struck out five. Aroldis Chapman struck out each of the three batters he faced in the ninth to earn his 17th save. Pepiot (6-7) was pulled after six innings. He gave up four runs (three earned) and seven hits, struck out three and walked one. The victory gave Boston a four-game sweep of Tampa Bay. It's the first time the Red Sox have won 10 games in a row since July 2018. Boston took a 1-0 lead in the third. Marcelo Mayer doubled and moved to third on Connor Wong's groundout. It appeared that Tampa Bay catcher Matt Thaiss picked Mayer off third, but third baseman Junior Caminero was called for obstruction and Mayer was awarded home. Tampa Bay tied the game in the fourth. Jake Mangum doubled, advanced to third on a Bello wild pitch and scored on Josh Lowe's sacrifice fly. The Red Sox took a 2-1 lead on Trevor Story's two-out single in the sixth. The hit scored Roman Anthony, who doubled and moved to third on Masataka Yoshida's groundout. Rafaela's two-run homer came next and gave the Red Sox a three-run cushion. Story had two of Boston's eight hits. Mangum and Yandy Diaz each collected two hits for Tampa Bay, which also had eight hits. The Rays enter the All-Star break on a four-game losing streak. --Field Level Media

DONALD Trump is in attendance at the blockbuster Club World Cup final between Chelsea and PSG. The President's grand arrival has prompted a major security operation at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey with snipers surrounding the packed out ground. 9 9 9 President Trump was joined by first lady Melania Trump and FIFA President Gianni Infantino in the stands looking down at the pitch. Pictures show the trio standing side-by-side as the US national anthem was performed pre match. When they were first shown on the big screen, a rapturous applause could be heard across the huge stadium. Trump - standing in his traditional navy suit and long red tie - held a proud salute during the Star Spangled Banner performance His wife Melania also held her hand up across her chest honouring America's brave troops. She stunned in a luxury white dress, thick Christian Dior sunglasses and a black coat which sat over her shoulders. Infantino hosted the couple in the executive suit just weeks after he spoke with Trump in the White House about the 2026 World Cup. The global tournament is set to take place across the United States, Mexico and Canada and will include a new expanded 48-team format. MetLife Stadium is poised to host the FIFA World Cup final - marking the first time the US will hold the feted event since 1994. Today's game between two European cup winners has already been labelled as a dress rehearsal for soccer's biggest game in less than 12 months time. As the game kicked off between the French champions and Champions League holders PSG and Conference League winners Chelsea, Trump and Melania took to their seats. They were seen eagerly watching on as Trump beamed with joy as Chelsea took an early lead through two Cole Palmer goals. Melania and Don landed in New Jersey earlier in the day on Marine One. They touched down at Teterboro Airport before getting a motorcade to the stadium. Donald Trump Jr, his partner, and Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff were all also in attendance at the match. Trump's appearance came on the one-year anniversary of the assassination attempt on his life in Butler, Pennsylvania. Lone gunman Thomas Crooks, 20, unleashed a volley of shots at Trump in an attack that pierced the top of his ear and left him with blood smeared on his cheek. The shocking events sparked the biggest security crisis the US had faced since the shooting of Ronald Reagan in 1981. 9 9 Ever since, presidential security ops in the US have taken a step up with Trump always closely guarded wherever he goes. At the Club World Cup, dozens of highly trained Secret Service snipers surrounded the MetLife Stadium. They stood in the rafters of the mammoth ground with binoculars firmly scouting the supporters as they entered the stands. Trump has taken a liking to global sports events since he regained the presidency earlier this year. Back in February, he became the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl. He has also been at multiple UFC events across the past seven months alongside pal Dana White. The President even revealed plans to host a UFC title fight at the White House next year to celebrate America's 250th birthday. The historic championship punch up could take place on the presidential lawn and draw in over 20,000 guests. 9 9 9
