A Clark County deputy prosecutor is facing charges after being arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated.
David Carroll, 52, of New Albany, is facing two charges including operating a vehicle while intoxicated and endangerment after being arrested Sunday.

Clark County Prosecutor Jeremy Mull said Tuesday afternoon that Carroll began working with his office in December 2022 and was immediately placed on a suspension following his arrest.
"I am reviewing the evidence surrounding his arrest, and will make a decision on his employment after I conclude that review," Mull said.
Carroll's next court appearance is scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday.

(WFRV) – A Green Bay man is now being held in custody on multiple charges following a police pursuit early Thursday morning that ended in the driver being arrested for his 9th OWI offense. According to a release from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office, deputies were made aware at 4:52 a.m. of a pursuit involving a reckless driver on I-41 South fleeing from Wisconsin State Patrol troopers in Winnebago County. Deputies pursued the vehicle as it exited the interstate onto Military Avenue and headed northbound on Rolling Meadows Drive while continuing to ignore law enforcement's emergency light. A Pursuit Intervention Technique (PIT) maneuver was successfully carried out, allowing squad cars to box in the suspect vehicle, safely ending the pursuit near Pioneer Road and Johnson Street. Following the 2.7-mile-long pursuit, the 59-year-old driver from Green Bay was not compliant with commands when exiting his vehicle, and a stun gun was used on the man, allowing deputies to arrest him without any further incident. MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – A man in Wisconsin was arrested late at night on July 9 after allegedly spitting on police who found him with items that had been found missing from a person's garage. According to the Madison Police Department, officers noticed an injured man walking through a parking lot around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, holding a unicycle, a liquor bottle and a bag of tools.
