Union Home Minister Amit Shah gave a glimpse into his retirement plan and said he wants to dedicate the rest of his life to the Vedas, Upanishads, and natural farming
It can't simply be a life of politics for the likes of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who is considered one of the most influential names in his field and is known to work closely with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
And he seems to think so too. Shah gave a glimpse into his retirement plan after politics and said he wants to dedicate the rest of his life to the Vedas, Upanishads, and natural farming.
'I have decided that whenever I retire, I will dedicate the rest of my life to the Vedas, Upanishads, and natural farming," Shah said at the 'Sahkaar Samvaad' event with women from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and other cooperative workers.

Shah has often expressed his love for reading and said he owns 8,000 books that he does not have time to peruse. He also has a fondness for classical music.
At an event with Network18, he had said: 'I have 8,000 books and haven't read any. I am very interested in classical music, so I will read my books and listen to music while I'm at it."
At the event in Ahmedabad, Shah explained what is about natural farming, also called organic farming, and said it is a science-based technique with immense benefits.
'Wheat grown with chemical fertilisers leads to various health issues, including many lifestyle disorders like BP (blood pressure), diabetes, thyroid and life-threatening diseases like cancer," he said. 'Natural farming not only helps in making the body disease-free but also reduces one's dependence on medicines."
He said natural farming enhances agricultural productivity and shared his own experience of recording a 1.5 times jump in agricultural produce at his farmland.
Months ago, the Home Minister had shared his weight-loss journey and spoke about how his health underwent a massive transformation on the back of positive habits, including the right amount of food and water, coupled with exercise and adequate sleep. Speaking on World Liver Day, he said: 'I have achieved a very big change since May 2019 till now. By having the right amount of sleep, pure water, food and exercise, I have achieved much in life. In the last 4.5 years, I have become free from allopathic medicines."

'That's True': Old Video Resurfaces Of Trump Being Called 'Sexual Predator' In Front Of Ivanka

Last Updated: An old video of Trump and Ivanka at The Howard Stern Show in 2006 resurfaced amid the Epstein row, where Trump seemed to say "That's true" after being called a sexual predator. As US President Donald Trump faces pressure due to the Epstein Files controversy, an old video has resurfaced showing the president appearing to say 'that's true" after being called a sexual predator in front of his daughter Ivanka. In an appearance on The Howard Stern Show in 2006, Trump appeared with his daughter Ivanka and Donald Trump Jr to promote the fifth-season premiere of their reality TV series, 'The Apprentice.' Stern at one point asked Ivanka about her dating life and her earlier relationship with film producer James 'Bingo' Gubelmann. Later, Stern asked Trump, 'Well, maybe we need to bring this up. Donald, seriously … you, you, you know about sexual predators and things like that, I mean…?" Trump responded in the affirmative when the show's co-host Robin Quivers said, 'You are one!" Ivanka and Trump himself could be seen laughing as the now-president appeared to say, 'That's true!" Social media users were appalled by Trump's 'admission", although some users questioned the authenticity of the video. 'Sick! There is no other word for this!" a user said. 'Ladies and gentlemen the president of the United States," another person wrote. Several netizens also criticised Ivanka for laughing at the remarks. 'Ivanka thinks this is funny," a user wrote. 'A daughter laughing after someone calls her father a sexual predator?! These people are very damaged," wrote a second netizen. This came as Trump is facing serious backlash from his own supporters since his return to power over allegations that his administration is covering up lurid details of disgraced financier Epstein's crimes to protect rich and powerful figures. The Trump-supporting far-right has long latched on to the scandal, claiming the existence of a still-secret list of Epstein's powerful clients and that the late financier was in fact murdered in his cell as part of a cover-up. After Trump campaigned on releasing the Epstein files, his supporters expected him to answer their questions on his return to the office, but his Justice Department and the FBI have said there is no evidence that Epstein kept a client list or was blackmailing powerful figures. Moreover, Trump himself has attacked his supporters and called the Epstein files a 'hoax" perpetrated by Democrats. He is one of the many currently famous people who were formerly friends with Epstein, but denies having gone to his notorious US Virgin Islands home. Kazipet railway mfg. unit work making fast progress: Rly Min

Kazipet: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy jointly inspected the upcoming Railway Manufacturing Unit in Kazipet and praised its rapid progress and transformative potential. Built with an investment of Rs 500 crore, the factory is poised to start full-scale operations by 2026, fulfilling a decades-old public demand in Warangal. The Railway Minister said the facility, described by officials as a 'mega factory,' will not only manufacture railway coaches and engines but also handle design and production for metro trains. This ushers in cutting-edge technology to the heart of Telangana. Minister Vaishnav expressed satisfaction over the pace of construction and reiterated the central government's focus on modernizing the state's railway infrastructure. Vaishnav reaffirmed his commitment to improving railway infrastructure in Telangana through initiatives such as Vande Bharat trains, station modernisation, and enhanced connectivity. His direct supervision of the construction of Kazipet's RMU demonstrated the central government's dedication to completing the project on time. During the visit, the Union Railway Minister engaged with South Central Railway officials to discuss plans for doubling railway capacity in Telangana. Union Minister Kishan Reddy, speaking to the media on Saturday, during the inspection, said, 'On behalf of Warangal district and the entire Telangana state, we extend heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister Ashwini Vaishnav for realizing the people's long-standing dream.' Reddy recalled that proposals for a coach factory in Warangal date back nearly 40 years, with former PM PV Narasimha Rao initiating early efforts. The vision gained momentum under Prime Minister Modi, who personally laid the foundation stone for the unit. He mentioned that the RMU will create direct jobs for approximately 3,000 individuals and will generate numerous indirect job opportunities through related sectors such as transportation, design, and maintenance. In addition to the RMU, Kishan Reddy highlighted the central government's approval of the textile industry and renovation of historic structures such as the mantapa in Warangal's pillared temple. He also recalled the development of 40 railway stations across Telangana, all of which are being upgraded to reflect local heritage and offer improved passenger amenities. The Center has completed half of the Warangal Ring Road project, and Reddy emphasized the need for an airport in Warangal to complement the region's growing infrastructure. He mentioned that repeated appeals were made to former CM KCR and have continued under the current Congress government to acquire the necessary land for aviation facilities. Responding to critics who question what the BJP government has delivered for Telangana, Reddy stated, 'Those who doubt should come and see the development firsthand. The transformation under Modi's leadership is visible and undeniable.' Kishan Reddy responded to a question by stating that, according to the RR policy implemented by the state government, they can recommend job placement for individuals who have given their land for the project. This will be considered, as has been done in other areas during project implementation.
