Black Friday isn't just about getting a jump on Christmas shopping and watching the NFL slowly expand its domain over winter holidays, imagined or real. It's also about getting some of the best nationally available barrel-aged beers in the country.
Goose Island's Bourbon County Stouts have been around since 1992, emerging as one of the most visible pioneers of the big, bold and boozy style. Each year, the brewery -- now owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev -- unveils a supporting cast of all-star beers to supplement the original. 2025 will be no different, but with a minor twist. This will be the first year the company offers its stouts in four packs of 10-ounce bottles alongside its standard 16.9-ounce vessels.
The 2025 Goose Island Bourbon County lineup is:
Last year's lineup included similarly indulgent flavors like macaroon and vanilla rye and lived up to expectations. If you want to read about how those turned out, you can check out the 2024 review. Otherwise, you're stuck waiting until November 28 before you can head to your local bottle shop and see what they've got in store.

Minkah Fitzpatrick gets $16.245 million signing bonus in restructured Miami Dolphins deal

Minkah Fitzpatrick and the Miami Dolphins agreed Sunday to a restructured contract that adds a $16.245 million signing bonus to the All-Pro safety's deal. Agent Drew Rosenhaus confirmed the restructured deal, which was first reported by ESPN. The Dolphins acquired Fitzpatrick in a trade with the Steelers last month that sent All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey and Pro Bowl tight end Jonnu Smith to Pittsburgh. Fitzpatrick, who became one of the top safeties in the NFL with the Steelers, returned to the team that drafted him 11th overall in 2018 and traded him away at his request in 2019. There previously was no guaranteed money left on Fitzpatrick's contract that runs through 2026. No years were added, but Rosenhaus said they're seeking a multiyear extension. The Dolphins cleared $11 million in cap space in the restructured deal by converting part of Fitzpatrick's salary to a bonus, according to NFL Network. Fitzpatrick had $2 million of his 2026 salary moved up to this coming season. He is now due $17.5 million in 2025 and $15.6 million in 2026. Fitzpatrick had signed a four-year extension with the Steelers in 2022 that made him the highest-paid safety in the NFL at the time and gave him $36 million in guarantees.

Chargers reportedly signing LT Rashawn Slater to $114M contract, the richest for an offensive lineman in NFL history

The Los Angeles Chargers and left tackle Rashawn Slater have reportedly agreed to a four-year, $114 million contract extension, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. The contract includes $92 million in guaranteed money and makes Slater the highest-paid offensive lineman in NFL history, per the report. The Chargers selected Slater with the No. 13 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He's approaching the final year of his five-year rookie contract that's due to pay him $19 million in 2025 per a fifth-year team option. The Chargers drafted Slater a year after selecting quarterback Justin Herbert in the draft. He's emerged as a strong blindside protector for Herbert and one of the better offensive linemen in the NFL. Slater was named second-team All-Pro and to the Pro Bowl during his rookie season. A biceps injury limited him to three games in his second season, but he returned to play 17 games in 2023 and 15 in 2024. He was named to the Pro Bowl for the second time last season. This story will be updated.
