As OnePlus 13s goes on sale, here are 13 reasons why this is a phone worth buying
1. Ultimate compact flagship phone: The 13s delivers a high-end phone experience with all the bells and whistles you'd normally associate with a flagship phone in 2025 without being too big or cumbersome for daily use.2. Ultra-phone without the ultra-size: It packs flagship capabilities into a form factor that challenges the conventional wisdom that only large phones can have big features. It measures just 8.2 mm and weighs only 185 grams. What's more impressive – and a rare feat of engineering, might we add – is that OnePlus put a 6.32-inch display in a chassis which is roughly equivalent to a 6.1-inch phone.3. Large battery in a compact body: The 13s boasts a large 5,850mAh battery within this chassis, breaking the stereotype that small phones must compromise on battery capacity. There is a version of this phone in China which has an even more insane 6,260mAh battery thanks to Silicon-Carbon technology.4. Exceptional battery longevity: But that is okay. The 13s still has phenomenal battery life, consistently lasting more than a day, even under heavy use.5. Fast charging: The phone also supports 80W quick top-ups, with a full charge taking just under one hour and fifteen minutes.6. Very fast performance: Equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, the 13s maintains sustained performance consistently, even outperforming competitors (like the Samsung Galaxy S25, another compact flagship phone) in benchmarks.advertisement7. Efficient heat management: It can do that because of some clever under-the-hood engineering that has allowed OnePlus to put a large 3D Cryo-Velocity vapour chamber inside it so it cools down quickly even after extended periods of peak load.8. Bypass charging technology: OnePlus also allows you to directly charge the phone (bypassing the battery) during gaming, enhancing usability.9. OnePlus AI suite: The OnePlus 13s is the first phone to launch with OnePlus AI, a suite of AI applications with notable real-world use cases from search, call/meeting/video summarisation, to quick translations within third-party apps.10. The Plus Key: OnePlus has replaced the alert slider with a customisable button for shortcuts, including the 'Plus Mind' sandbox which lets you store screenshots and find information you're looking for through prompts and text.11. Stunning display: The 13s has a flat-out 6.32-inch LTPO OLED screen with super-slim bezels, offering an immersive visual experience.12. Thoughtful design and ergonomics: Finally – and most importantly – OnePlus has nailed the ergonomics on this phone. There is meticulous attention to detail, from the choice of colours, texture, to how the frame aligns with the front and the back, ensuring everything works together in perfect harmony with no loose ends or jagged edges. The OnePlus 13s is a 'feel good' phone, one that is hard to overlook and put down.13. Competitive pricing with strong software support: Despite the flagship specs, the phone is priced like a flagship killer. The base variant has 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is priced at Rs 54,999. For Rs 5,000 more, you can also double the storage to 512GB. OnePlus is committing to four years of major Android OS updates and six years of security patches. The software at large on this phone is clean and free of any dubious third-party bloatware.

OnePlus Bullets Z3 review: Practical operation, solid performance
Rating: 3.5/5 There was a time when neckband-style wireless earphones were all the rage in India. But as TWS (True Wireless Stereo) earbuds took over, offering convenience in all shapes and sizes, neckbands seemed to take a backseat. The trend gradually faded but OnePlus 's Bullets range held the ground, providing top-notch quality in a relatively low price point. The company recently launched Bullets Wireless Z3 (priced at Rs 1,699) as a successor to the Bullets Z2. Fundamentally, the Bullets Z3 looks and feels quite similar to its predecessor but it does pack some notable upgrades. If you're one of those who still prefer the comfort and reliability of a neckband over TWS earbuds, read on this full review to know what has changed in the latest generation of the OnePlus Bullets Z series. OnePlus Bullets Z3 design If we are to summarise the design of the OnePlus Bullets Z3, it is nothing but familiarity with a fresh hue. There isn't much groundbreaking news here as the latest neckband largely retains the familiar aesthetic of the Bullets Z2. It carries forward the signature magnetic on-and-off function, which is handy for pausing music when you're not listening, the skin-friendly silicone material build, and its ergonomically curved shape that ensures a snug fit. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like When Knee Pain Hits, Start Eating These Foods, and Feel Your Pain Go Away (It's Genius) Read More Undo So, whether you're heading to the office or hitting the gym, you can comfortably wear these around your neck without worrying about them falling off, thanks to that magnetic lock. The OnePlus Bulltes Z3 is available in two colour options: Mambo Midnight and Samba Sunset. All the physical controls – volume rockers and buttons – are located on the left side of the neckband, are tactile and provide satisfying feedback. There's a USB Type-C charging port and an LED indicator that lights up in red and white. OnePlus has also added an IP55 water and sweat resistance rating, making the Bullets Wireless Z3 suitable for outdoor use and capable of withstanding splashes of rain. OnePlus Bullets Z3 performance OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3 neckband earphones can be used with both Android phones and iPhones. If you are using a OnePlus phone, you can access some basic functions directly through their Bluetooth settings to personalise the audio output. The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3 features 12.4mm dynamic bass drivers, which are the same as those found in the Bullets Z2 model from 2022. Out of the box, the Z3 offers a decent sound profile with a balanced approach. Vocals come through clear and natural to a good extent. The treble is clear and extended but don't expect it to deliver a top-notch, high-quality audio with nuanced musical details. Coming to the bass, the earphones provide a punchy thump, which sometimes may prove overwhelming to some users. If you love bass, then you'll appreciate the punch and complemented clarity. Lows are a bit tight and controlled, allowing other instruments to flourish. Mids and highs are well pronounced, which means guitar solos like Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird and Jimi Hendrix's Purple Haze sounded great. While there may be some music tracks that sound 'unclear' due to lack of separation in musical instruments but vocals are clearly pronounced. For example, when listening to tracks like Eminem's "Animals" and Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us," we found the vocals were exceptionally clear, making it easy to recognise every word. The neckband handles volume changes smoothly, from quiet passages to loud music, without any harshness and they are loud. Pop Rap songs like On To The Next One by Jay-Z and Swizz Beatz were a treat for the ears. You also get the OnePlus 3D Audio function, which aims to create an immersive sound environment. The earphones have a wide soundstage that's decent at best. All in all, we found the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3 resonate more with House Music, Dance Music and EDM and perform well for various other genres. OnePlus has included AI-powered Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) that essentially enhances call clarity by reducing background noise during conversations. Like the Bullets Z2, these earphones lack Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), however, we may see an ANC version like the Bullets Z2 ANC model. Battery and features Battery life is also robust. The neckband packs a 220mAh battery and is claimed to deliver 36 hours of audio playback. During our review, we got a week's battery on one charge, often using the earphones for up to 5 hours a day. The fast-charging feature is a bonus as OnePlus claims that just 10 minutes of charging can provide up to 27 hours of playback. The Bullets Wireless Z3 earphones support Google Fast Pair and Bluetooth v5.4. In terms of audio codecs, the neckband supports AAC and SBC, which is expected given its price point. Verdict At Rs 1,699, the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3 is a pretty good deal, especially for those who still prefer the comfort and convenience of neckbands over TWS earbuds. The audio output is balanced and its fantastic call clarity is appreciable. The robust battery backup and fast-charging support are the added benefits. The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3 offers a compelling value proposition, combining balanced performance credentials with a solid battery life. OnePlus Nord CE 5 review: Upgrade that Matters
Rating- 3.5/5 OnePlus recently expanded its Nord lineup in India with the launch of the Nord 5 and the more affordable Nord CE 5. The Nord CE 4 proved to be a popular choice among users looking for a balance between price and performance, and with the CE 5, OnePlus seems keen on building on that momentum. Priced from Rs 24,999, the Nord CE 5 arrives with a fresh design, updated internals, and a splash of AI enhancements — all of which raise an important question: can it once again set the benchmark in the mid-range segment? Let's find out Design and display Minimalist — that's the one word that best captures the design of the OnePlus Nord CE 5 . We received the Nexus Blue colour variant for the review and we liked it. The vertical pill-shaped camera module from last year's Nord CE 4 has been carried forward with the Nord CE 5. However, the design feels more refined, with a matching colour scheme along the edges and around the camera module. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like When Knee Pain Hits, Start Eating These Foods, and Feel Your Pain Go Away (It's Genius) Click Here Undo Carrying forward the minimalist design aesthetics, edges have become flat. Power and volume buttons are on the right side. On the top is the IR blaster that is used to control other electronic devices. The bottom of the phone houses the SIM card tray, USB Type-C charger and single-firing speaker, along with a microphone. Now, the rear of the smartphone is made up of plastic glass having a matte finish. It is resistant to both smudges and fingerprint marks, which helps keep the phone tidy and clean. Weighing 199 grams, the phone is comparatively lightweight. But the 160mm height makes it difficult to use the phone single-handedly. OnePlus Nord CE 5 comes with an IP65 rating which means it can withstand minor splashes and drizzle. Coming to the display, OnePlus Nord CE 5 is equipped with a 6.77-inch Super Fluid AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution of 2400x1080 pixels. Other display features include HDR 10+ support, 10-bit colour depth, 1430 peak brightness, and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate among others. The screen holds well under different usage and conditions. Whether you are scrolling through social media or streaming on OTT apps, colours are vibrant, bright and almost life-like. Using the device indoors will pose no issues, but brightness levels could have been better for outdoors. Display performance is decent. The adaptive refresh rate adjusts smoothly based on usage, helping conserve battery while maintaining a fluid viewing experience. Performance OnePlus Nord CE 5 comes powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex chipset. It boasts of up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM paired with up to 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. In daily use, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 handles most tasks with ease. Whether it's switching between apps, browsing the web, or streaming high-quality video, the phone stays smooth and responsive. Multitasking is smooth with LPDDR5X RAM, and storage is not a concern either, with support for microSD cards up to 1TB. We did not face any lag or stutter when jumping from one app to another, despite having around 10-12 apps running in the background. Gaming on the OnePlus Nord CE 5 feels smooth and consistent, even during long play sessions. The phone runs games like BGMI and Call of Duty Mobile at up to 120 FPS without major stutters or heating issues. The device temperature remains under control thanks to the new CyroVelocity VC cooling system. Whether you're in the middle of intense action or exploring detailed game worlds, the performance remains steady and reliable. It's a decent pick for casual and serious mobile gamers alike. Overall, the performance feels dependable for everyday use. On the software front, OnePlus Nord CE 5 runs on Android 15-based OxygenOS 15. . It offers a clean, clutter-free interface with fast app loading and smooth animations. The Nord CE 5 also benefits from the latest Google Gemini integration. Features like Circle to Search, AI-powered summaries, and contextual help across apps make it easier to find, understand, and act on information right from your screen. OnePlus has brought its in-house AI suite to the Nord CE5, marking its debut in the Nord CE lineup. Users get tools like AI Toolbox 2.0, AI VoiceScribe, and AI Creativity features — all designed to assist with productivity, communication, and photo editing in day-to-day use. For a deeper look at how OnePlus AI performs, check out our reviews of the OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus 13s. Camera On paper, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 boasts dual cameras on the back – a 50MP Sony LYT600 primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is a 16MP camera with the ability to record FHD videos at 60fps. During our testing, the primary sensor on OnePlus Nord CE 5 did a satisfactory job in daylight photography. Images clicked using the phone turned out to be detailed with vibrant contrast and punch. Having said that, colours appear slightly exaggerated from the real world. The ultra-wide sensor manages to click decent shots with more accurate colour reproduction. For portraits, the Nord CE 5 does a good job in edge detection and adding depth to images. Although we found portrait photos clicked using the phone to be slightly brighter and over saturated. Low-light photography was again up to the mark, but there surely is a scope of improvement. Selfies look decent, with a slight smoothening of skin tones and a bit of colour enhancement. However, the effect isn't too strong, so the final image still feels close to reality. Battery OnePlus Nord CE 5 comes with the largest ever battery in a OnePlus phone. The smartphone houses a 7,100mAh battery with an 80-watt SuperVOOC charger in the box. During our usage, the Nord CE 5 easily lasted a day and a half on regular usage. This included web browsing, scrolling through social media, listening to music, streaming content, and other activities that smartphone users commonly engage in these days. OnePlus Nord CE 5 comes with an ultra-fast charging feature which speeds up the charging process. The phone goes from 0% to 20% in nearly 10 minutes and 20% to 100% in another 35-40 minutes. Having said that, we did notice the phone heating up during the process. Though it is noticeable, but not too high to cause concern or impact day-to-day performance of the device. OnePlus has now added a bypass charging feature to Nord CE 5 which comes in handy during long gaming sessions. Gamers will surely like the new add-on. Verdict OnePlus Nord CE 5 carries forward the value-for-money legacy of its predecessor with a refined design, dependable performance, and a more AI-centric user experience. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex, it handles daily tasks, multitasking, and even casual gaming with ease. The inclusion of Google Gemini and OnePlus AI tools gives it a modern edge, while features like Open Canvas and AI VoiceScribe genuinely add utility for everyday use. Overall, the Nord CE 5 feels like a thoughtfully refined upgrade rather than a radical one. For anyone seeking a reliable mid-range phone with a touch of flagship-inspired AI features, the Nord CE 5 at Rs 24,999 (base price) stands out as a strong contender.
