Love Island stars announce engagement one year on from meeting on ITV2 show
Uma Jammeh shared the news on her Instagram account. And in the comments section to the post, partner Wil made a Beyonce pun.
A year after the duo met in the Love Island villa, Uma wrote: We've been sitting on a bad boy piece of information." She also shared a diamond ring emoji as she showed off the new piece of jewellery in holiday snaps.
While Wil wasn't in the images, he took to the comments to say: "I liked it, so I put a ring on it." Uma quickly joked back, saying: "Period."

Starbucks' secret menu is now official, and you could win $25,000 for submitting your own creation
Secret menus—unofficial, creative combinations of standard menu options—have been a thing at many chains over the years, including Starbucks. Most remain secret, but Starbucks just pulled back the curtain by officially adding four "secret" drinks to their menu. Plus, they've launched a contest to find the next big drink and you could win big. Starting today, Starbucks is putting its most talked-about drink hacks front and center in the Starbucks app. The legendary 'secret menu' that's fueled Reddit threads and fan sites with the likes of Butterbeer Frappuccinos and Thin Mint Cold Brews is now officially endorsed. Rewards members can tap the "offers" tab in the app and find the first four creations, each already customized and ready to order with a single click. Here's what's in the inaugural lineup: Cookies on Top: Cold Brew with two pumps of vanilla syrup, Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam and a cookie crumble topping Lemon, Tea & Pearls: Black tea and lemonade with raspberry popping pearls Just Add White Mocha: Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso upgraded with White Chocolate Mocha Sauce and Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam The move is inspired by Starbucks' Not-So-Secret Menu broadcast channel on Instagram, where creative mashups have been shared for months. Now, these viral drinks can finally be ordered easily, without awkwardly reciting the recipe at the counter. But Starbucks isn't stopping there. To celebrate, they're launching a contest to find their next big drink. From now through July 20, submit your dream drink customization via the secret menu contest page. Four finalists will snag $5,000 and see their drink featured in the app from August 18–25. The drink with the most fan votes on Starbucks' Instagram wins an extra $25,000.

John Torode sacked from MasterChef after racist language allegation
It has been announced that John Torode will not be returning to MasterChef. This week, it emerged that Torode had been accused of using racist language in the review regarding his former co-host, Gregg Wallace. The BBC and MasterChef production company Banijay UK have now confirmed that his contract with the cooking series will not be renewed. A Banijay spokesperson said: 'In response to John Torode's statement, it is important to stress that Banijay UK takes this matter incredibly seriously. 'The legal team at Lewis Silkin that investigated the allegations relating to Gregg Wallace also substantiated an accusation of highly offensive racist language against John Torode which occurred in 2018. 'This matter has been formally discussed with John Torode by Banijay UK, and whilst we note that John says he does not recall the incident, Lewis Silkin have upheld the very serious complaint. 'Banijay UK and the BBC are agreed that we will not renew his contract on MasterChef.' A BBC spokesperson added: 'John Torode denies the allegation. He has stated he has no recollection of the alleged incident and does not believe that it happened. 'He also says that any racial language is wholly unacceptable in any environment. 'The BBC takes this upheld finding extremely seriously. We will not tolerate racist language of any kind and, as we have already said, we told Banijay UK, the makers of MasterChef, that action must be taken. John Torode's contract on MasterChef will not be renewed.' It was reported that last week, the BBC and Banijay asked Torode to resign and claim he had mental health problems. The Sun said Torode refused the request and has issued a statement addressing the racist language allegation on his Instagram. Torode has not yet commented on this announcement, but yesterday made a statement following the release of the report. More Trending The TV chef said on social media that he was the individual 'who is alleged to have used racist language on one occasion', telling fans for the 'sake of transparency' after speculation. He continued: 'The allegation is that I did so sometime in 2018 or 2019, in a social situation, and that the person I was speaking with did not believe that it was intended in a malicious way and that I apologised immediately afterwards. 'I have absolutely no recollection of any of this, and I do not believe that it happened. However, I want to be clear that I've always had the view that any racial language is wholly unacceptable in any environment. Shock video shows moment Justin Timberlake screams at stage crew during concert meltdown as fans blast him
Explosive video has surfaced of Justin Timberlake completely losing it on his stage crew in the middle of his set at England's Lytham Festival earlier this month. The viral clip shows the pop star initially trying to keep his cool after sound issues disrupted his performance of Cry Me a River. Timberlake, 44, is seen calmly speaking to a crew member—who checks his watch, seemingly giving a time estimate for the fix. But things take a turn fast. When a second crew member approaches, Timberlake snaps—launching into a furious tirade that lasts several seconds. At one point, the singer even slashes his hand across his neck in a dramatic 'cut it off' gesture before abruptly turning his back on the stunned team and storming away mid-show. When a second crew member approaches, Timberlake snaps—launching into a furious tirade that lasts several seconds Critics didn't hold back. 'Losing it with your support crew is considered highly unprofessional in the world of stage performance,' one commenter blasted. Another chimed in and said, 'He mad about anything and everything.' One commenter argued Timberlake was 'justified' in being irritated with the crew, who had hours to prepare for the event. Others said he was overreacting to a minor technical snafu, with one user saying Timberlake appeared to be 'mad about anything and everything' during his outing at the festival. The most popular comment alluded to Timberlake's remark upon getting arrested for drunken driving in June of 2024 - as he said, ' This is going to ruin the tour.' Fan feedback to the clip on the TikTok post was mixed, as some people said the Memphis, Tennessee native relatively kept his cool. 'He hardly looks like he's losing it,' one user said. 'Just annoyed. I would be too.' The most popular comment alluded to Timberlake's remark upon getting arrested for drunken driving in June of 2024 - as he said, ' This is going to ruin the tour ' Another user defended Timberlake's passion in wanting to put on the best possible show for his fans. 'I don't blame him for being a bit peeved he's trying to entertain his fans that paid money to see him,' said the user said. One user credited Timberlake's attention to detail, saying that he 'probably saved everyone getting an earache.' Another said that the pop veteran was 'an absolute star' as he took the stage at the summer music festival, calling him 'brilliant' and 'so professional.' Said one user: 'He handled it well, for anyone who wasn't there, don't let this distract you.' The SexyBack vocalist took to Instagram last week with a slideshow of images from the concert. The former *NSYNC leading singer captioned the shot, 'Lytham, I LOVE Y'ALL!' Timberlake is father to two sons with wife Jessica Biel, 43: Silas, 10, and Phineas, four.
