CBS News17-07-2025
The Chicago Michelin Guide has added five new restaurants in 2025, making them eligible for stars or Bib Gourmand recognition.
In Bucktown, Indian/Mexican fusion restaurant Mirra and Mediterranean casual modern bistro Tama are now in the guide. So is popular – and newly resurrected in the West Loop – Mexican street food spot Taqueria Chingon
They are joined by regional Indian specialist Nadu in Lincoln Park is also now in the Michelin Guide, as is New American South Loop hotspot Oliver's.
Now that they're included, each restaurant is eligible to earn Bib Gourmand status or, more importantly, Michelin stars later this year. The most stars a restaurant can earn is three. There are only 157 restaurants in the world right now that have three Michelin stars.

Cboe Files for New Generic Listing Standards for Crypto ETPs

The Chicago Board Options Exchange filed for Generic Listing Standards for crypto exchange-traded products on Wednesday—a move that could make a big difference for fund issuers. If the filing is approved, any coin that has futures tracking it for at least six months on Coinbase's derivatives exchange would be approved, Bloomberg Senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas said via X. The filing is still subject to comment and review, but could be on a path to finality in less than 60 days, Greg Xethalis, general counsel at crypto investing firm Multicoin Capital, said in a post on X. He added that the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq exchange will likely follow in the footsteps of Cboe shortly. What the Generic Listing Standards Could Mean 'The new rule allows an issuer's shares to be listed on an exchange if the underlying commodity to which exposure is given has a contract on a Designated Contract Market for at least 6 months,' Xethalis said. It would also make the possibility of staking—a process in which crypto investors can earn rewards for their transactions—easier via a rule that would require a liquidity risk management program if less than 85% of the assets are available for immediate redemption, per the filing. Solana ETPs, which must be approved by Oct. 10, would qualify this fall under the Generic Listing Standards if they're approved by the agency, Xethalis said. The SEC Is Sitting on Crypto ETP Applications The crypto industry is eagerly awaiting approvals on crypto-related exchange-traded products. 'People have to be patient,' SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce recently said in an interview with Bloomberg's Trillions podcast. 'The SEC could choose to act directly on those ETP 19b-4s before the Oct. 10 Solana deadline and the slightly later XRP deadline, or could run these out under GLS,' Xethalis said. Balchunas said that the process of launching ETFs related to newer alt coins that don't have futures or meme coins would need to come from a different | © Copyright 2025 All rights reserved Error in retrieving data Sign in to access your portfolio Error in retrieving data Error in retrieving data Error in retrieving data Error in retrieving data

Union Pacific Corporation (UNP): Jim Cramer Believes The Norfolk Deal Won't See Competition

We recently published . Union Pacific Corporation (NYSE:UNP) is one of the stocks Jim Cramer recently discussed. Union Pacific Corporation (NYSE:UNP)'s shares, like those of Norfolk Southern, dipped by a little over 2% after it announced that it would take over the latter. Investors were worried about the deal's financing affecting the firm's income statement and balance sheet. Here's what Cramer said about the deal: 'Well what's incredible if you look at the actual rails, it makes so much sense. There's so little overlap. You wanted East-West. It's [inaudible] be great thing. There is tremendous congestion, where the two in the Midwest, in Chicago area, it's so, I don't see a lot of the overlap that would make you not like it. I think that, if you were a regulator in the previous regime, you might say, you know what, these two will never compete if we let them merge. So we can't let them merge because now they won't go against each other. But the fact is, they were never going to go against each other. That's not, the rails, stop doing that years ago. 'This is a deal where you just would never have seen it. . .I think that they have a feeling that this one's gonna go. Don't matter what [inaudible] get it. And, I would argue that if you think there's going to be big reindustrialization, Carl, you do want it. It makes sense to have this type of seamless rhythm. The rails are, look I think we all wish that we didn't, that we had more rails in the country, they're much cleaner, 400 miles to the diesel gallon. You could argue that other countries have them in a much more you, in a superb way, and we're a little disjointed, This makes a lot of sense.'
