He highlighted the involvement of major companies, including TCS, IBM, and L&D, in the initiative, asserting that the Quantum Valley will be a significant milestone in India's technological revolution.
Additionally, Lokesh noted the growing status of Visakhapatnam as an emerging IT hub. Emphasising the state's investor-friendly policies under the guidance of visionary leader Chandrababu Naidu, he mentioned that Andhra Pradesh is offering subsidies unparalleled by any other state in the country. "Andhra Pradesh is becoming a home for advanced technologies, and we invite investments accordingly," he appealed.

Parking within Corporation limits to be free temporarily
The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) has announced that all parking spaces under its jurisdiction would remain free of charge until a new contract is finalised. New Delhi: Amid ongoing Hindi imposition row in Maharashtra and southern states, the Telugu-speaking states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have waded into the debate and sent out a message of inclusivity. Andhra Pradesh, under N Chandrababu Naidu's TDP, has struck an inclusive chord by assuring investors that it is offering a safe and investment-friendly environment. IT and electronics minister Nara Lokesh has given a call to the industry to "come, and build in Andhra Pradesh" irrespective of any language you speak. This comes close on the heels of Telangana government's 'Telangana Rising 2047' campaign poster which has a map of Hyderabad with 'welcome' written in at least 34 languages, including in Urdu, English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, French, Hebrew, Spanish and Japanese. Gig workers' lounges disabled-friendly now as GCC installs ramps
Chennai: Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) has installed ramps at entrances of gig workers' lounges in Anna Nagar and T Nagar. These lounges for delivery partners are air conditioned and have toilets as well as power outlets to recharge mobile phones between orders. With the addition of the ramps, these resting facilities are now accessible to persons with disabilities (PwDs) too. The installation by GCC comes days after a report in The Times of India highlighted that the lounges were inaccessible to disabled delivery partners, particularly those who use wheelchairs. Several delivery partners, spending hours on their battery-powered wheelchairs delivering food and braving the terrible roads, were unable to use the facility to take a break owing to the lack of ramps. "Before the ramps were added, I had to wait outside even when I was exhausted. It's a relief to finally have a space where I can rest like everyone else," he said. GCC plans to build similar lounges in Thiruvanmiyur, Villivakkam, Royapettah, Mylapore, and Nungambakkam.
