What do penguins, Steve Bartman and Michael Jordan have in common? Pudgy Penguins' exclusive packs at The National. Pudgy Penguins, the beloved web3 brand, has been making waves in the collectible space — both digitally and physically. Originally launched as an NFT series in 2021, the brand has steadily expanded into the physical world with toys, merchandise, and now trading cards. In 2024, they introduced VIBES — the official Pudgy Penguins trading card game — with its debut set, 'Enter the Huddle.' Now, for the first time ever, Pudgy Penguins and VIBES are releasing exclusive packs at The National Sports Collectors Convention. 'Be a Lil Evil,' Mantel's exclusive, is a nod to the infamous Steve Bartman play during the 2003 NLCS, while 'Lil Who Hoops,' CGC's exclusive, honors one of the most iconic visuals in sports: Michael Jordan's soaring All-Star Weekend dunk. Dolphins to unveil alternate uniform in August
The Miami Dolphins will unveil their alternate "Rivalries" uniform on Aug. 28, the team announced Friday. The NFL announced its "Rivalries" partnership with Nike during the 2025 NFL draft, which will see teams wearing alternate looks "born from local community insights." The program, like Nike's "City Connect" partnership with Major League Baseball, will roll out new uniforms for a handful of teams per year, beginning in 2025 with AFC East and NFC West squads. While Miami fans will have to wait another month to see the new look for the Dolphins, it seems as though the team has dropped hints for much of the offseason. The team's May schedule release video showed plenty of black contrasted with neon aqua, which is a theme that the Dolphins' social media accounts still show months later. The Dolphins are set to wear their "Rivalries" uniform for the first time on Monday, Sept. 29 in a Week 4 game against the New York Jets.

'Wolfenstein' TV series based on games in the works: 'The story of killing Nazis is evergreen'
What a logline! A Wolfenstein TV series based on the popular video games is coming our way, and even more eye-catching is the official logline that accompanies the news. Instead of a lengthy description of what the show will be, it simply states: "The story of killing Nazis is evergreen." (Truly, no notes.) Wolfenstein is a series of shooter games that depict an alternate history. They largely focus on the character of William "B.J." Blazkowicz, a U.S. solider during World War II who goes behind enemy lines and discovers that the Nazis are using bizarre experiments and the occult in an attempt to shift the war in their favor. The first game, Castle Wolfenstein, released in 1981. The most recent installments are 2019's Wolfenstein: Youngblood and the VR release Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot. Variety first reported the news of the TV adaption, which was confirmed by the involved parties on social media. Patrick Somerville of Station Eleven and Maniac is attached as the show's creator, writer, executive producer, and showrunner for Amazon MGM Studios. Also on board as EPs are Jonah Nolan, Lisa Joy, and Athena Wickham from Kilter Films, which produces Amazon's hit Fallout game-to-TV adaptation. On the gaming side, Jerk Gustafsson of Wolfenstein developer MachineGames will executive-produce alongside James Altman of Keyframe Films. A film version of Wolfenstein was previously announced back in 2012, though it never took off. It should also be noted that Amazon is fully leaning into adapting video games as high-profile series. After Fallout, the company also have its sights on Mass Effect, God of War, and Warhammer 40,000, the latter starring Henry Cavill. Read the original article on Entertainment Weekly
