Lenovo launches AI-powered PCs & monitors for modern offices

Lenovo has introduced a new range of business-focused, AI-powered desktop PCs and monitors designed to adapt to changing workplace requirements.
The new offering includes the ThinkCentre M Series Gen 6 desktops and ThinkVision T Series Gen 40 monitors, which are intended to support organisations of varying scales. The ThinkCentre desktop lineup spans tower, compact, and all-in-one form factors, while the ThinkVision monitors are designed for flexibility and centralised management.
Johnson Jia, Senior Vice President of Intelligent Devices Group's Global Innovation Center at Lenovo, highlighted recent findings from a global survey and outlined the company's vision. "Nearly half of businesses believe that AI-powered devices boost employee productivity, and 90 percent of those are already piloting, planning or exploring AI-powered PC rollouts, according to a recent Lenovo and IDC global survey of IT decision-makers. AI has and will continue to reshape the future of work, and Lenovo is proud to lead the way with a new generation of AI desktop PCs and monitors that meet the changing needs of businesses in this new era," Jia said.
"Our latest ThinkCentre M Series Gen 6 desktops and ThinkVision T Series Gen 40 monitors power businesses of all sizes with scalable performance to unlock next-gen AI productivity and creativity." he added.
The ThinkCentre M Series Gen 6 desktops are engineered to deliver power for demanding scenarios such as AI model training, three-dimensional design, and data analysis. The tower models, including the ThinkCentre M90t Gen 6, feature up to Intel vPro Enterprise with AI-capable Intel Core Ultra 9 Processors (Series 2), DDR5 memory support, and eight expansion slots for future upgrades. Connectivity is enhanced through a range of ports suitable for various business setups.
For environments with limited space, the ThinkCentre series also offers a 1-litre design that can be placed discreetly behind monitors or within desk drawers. These smaller desktops, such as the ThinkCentre M90q Gen 6, are equipped with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 processors and support up to four displays. Optional discrete NPUs with 30 TOPs are also available for protected, on-device AI processing.
The ThinkCentre M Series Gen 6 all-in-one desktops are intended for businesses requiring tidy workspaces and AI performance, with features appropriate for sectors such as healthcare, creative industries, and education. Select models, such as the ThinkCentre M90a Gen 6, provide a 23.8-inch near-edgeless Full HD anti-glare display, 99% sRGB colour accuracy, a 120Hz refresh rate, and certifications for EyeSafe and IP55 water and dust resistance.
Lenovo's new desktops are supplied with proprietary AI tools. These include Lenovo AI Now, an on-device personal assistant, and the Lenovo AI Turbo Engine, which dynamically adjusts system resources to suit current workloads.
The desktops are also supported by ThinkShield security solutions, comprising both hardware and software elements to protect data. Features include a dTPM 2.0 chip to encrypt passwords, BIOS-based Smart USB protection, and individual USB port disablement to guard against unauthorised access.
The ThinkVision T Series Gen 40 monitors are intended to offer professionals a combination of display quality and practical connectivity. The lineup includes WQHD and UHD IPS displays with a 99% sRGB and BT.709 colour gamut. These monitors feature variable refresh rates (from 48-120Hz), which adjust automatically to match on-screen content, supporting both smooth visuals and energy efficiency.
Connectivity on the new monitors is facilitated by a one-cable USB-C solution for docking models and in-built modular VoIP conferencing technologies with AI features on selected units. Several models can provide up to 100W device charging through proprietary technology.
Lenovo stated that sustainability was a key consideration in the monitor lineup, with the ThinkVision T Series Gen 40 monitors comprising 95% post-consumer recycled plastic and plastic-free packaging. The monitors also hold ENERGY STAR, TCO, and EPEAT Gold certifications, reflecting compliance with rigorous environmental standards. IT departments benefit from centralised remote management capabilities via Lenovo Display Fleet Manager, enabling asset management, firmware updates, and configuration changes to be conducted in batches, which helps reduce end-user disruption.
Pricing for the ThinkCentre desktops and ThinkVision monitors varies across the models. The ThinkCentre M90t Gen 6 has an expected starting price of USD $1,039, the M90q Gen 6 starts at USD $989, and the ThinkCentre M90a Gen 6 starts at USD $1,399. For monitors, the ThinkVision T24-40 begins at USD $268, the T27QD-40 at USD $483, and the T34WD-40 at USD $623. Other models within both lineups offer various configurations and pricing tiers to address different enterprise needs.

Its first released capability, AI Guides, enables teams to design, deploy, and manage autonomous virtual agents across complex customer journeys at scale. According to Genesys, AI Guides distinguishes itself from existing solutions by supporting virtual agents that can adapt in real-time and manage multi-step interactions, rather than being restricted to pre-programmed flows. Governance and transparency are embedded in the design to address concerns over trust, ethics, and explainability—challenges that have hindered the wider adoption of AI among enterprises. Hayley Sutherland, Research Manager for Conversational AI at IDC, commented, "Scalable oversight of AI is critically important as we move into agentic decision-making and operation at lightning speed. For enterprises to leverage agentic AI, they must evolve how they approach AI governance and adoption. Genesys is offering organisations a robust entry point for autonomous AI, and the tools to help ensure every AI-powered customer interaction is secure, ethical and aligned to their strategy and values." Research from the IBM Institute for Business Value indicates that 80% of business leaders see explainability, ethics, bias, or trust as significant challenges to adopting AI, even with conventional deterministic forms such as generative AI. Half of those surveyed admit their organisations do not have the governance structures in place to adequately manage these risks. No-code tools and governance AI Guides is designed for businesses looking to scale semi-autonomous customer interactions with minimal technical resources. Unlike most virtual agents that rely on rigid programming and break down under complex scenarios, Genesys claims its new system allows virtual agents to reason, adapt, and make decisions dynamically within guardrails set by the business. This capacity is intended to enable agents to handle more complex, multi-step customer interactions, trigger enterprise-wide workflows, and act in key moments on behalf of brands, while maintaining compliance and oversight. The features of AI Guides include the ability to build or refine virtual agents using natural language or existing documentation, eliminating the need for coding. Users can design an interaction once and deploy it across different channels, which the company says will promote consistency and reduce duplication of effort. Other capabilities enable seamless integration with front, middle, and back-office systems, automate workflows, and implement testable safety controls to ensure accurate and policy-compliant engagement. Genesys highlights the model-agnostic architecture of AI Guides, which allows continuous A/B testing and iterative improvements as new language models become available. The Genesys Cloud platform supports integration with proprietary, open-source, and third-party models, including those available via Amazon Bedrock, as well as customer-provided models. Extending agentic AI AI Guides is intended to complement existing conversational, generative, and predictive AI functions within Genesys Cloud. Central to the suite is the Genesys Event Data Platform, which transforms raw interaction data into structured insights such as user intent, outcomes, and behaviour to improve customer profiles. Genesys suggests that this enhanced context leads to smarter orchestration and more effective training and operation of AI models. Further development is planned, with the forthcoming Genesys Cloud Custom Conversation Summaries tool touted to allow organisations to generate interaction summaries tailored to their unique brand voice, compliance needs, and formatting standards. Olivier Jouve, Chief Product Officer at Genesys, stated, "Many organisations lack the infrastructure and governance framework for the responsible use of agentic AI with their customers today. We're focused on giving every business an accessible and safe path forward. With AI Guides, Genesys is delivering the foundation for agentic orchestration with guardrails and trust embedded so our customers can accelerate innovation and position themselves to drive ROI and differentiation." Genesys anticipates that AI Studio capabilities, including AI Guides and Custom Conversation Summaries, will be available during the second quarter of its 2026 fiscal year, between 1 May and 31 July 2025.

The newly announced updates encompass Lenovo AI Services designed to support businesses in building and scaling AI capabilities, refreshed edge and infrastructure offerings targeted at enterprise customers, and the introduction of the Lenovo AI Centre of Excellence. These measures form part of a broader strategy to deliver a complete framework for enterprises to create, scale, and operate AI factories, utilising high-performance servers, enhanced computing, and collaboration with technology partners. Responding to adoption challenges Lenovo cited findings from its Global CIO Playbook which indicate that two-thirds of organisations have yet to see a return on investment from AI deployments, with challenges in scaling often tied to training, adoption, and technical gaps. The company referenced industry forecasts that anticipate AI budgets will triple to account for nearly 20% of total IT expenditures in 2025. Lenovo said it is positioning its infrastructure and services to address these challenges. Ashley Gorakhpurwalla, President, Infrastructure Solutions Group, Lenovo, said: "Lenovo is leading hybrid AI with groundbreaking advancements in integrated solutions that are driving industry-wide innovation and making enterprise-level AI attainable for every business. Services for scalable AI integration New Lenovo AI Adoption and Change Management Services have been introduced in response to ongoing challenges around AI training and employee engagement. These services include assessments of workforce readiness, persona-based training programmes, integration support for generative AI applications such as Copilot, and frameworks for AI governance and culture change within organisations. Key features for enterprises include the Lenovo AI People Readiness Assessment, tailored training and engagement based on staff roles, targeted change planning for generative AI tools, and strategies to help align leadership with responsible AI usage. These initiatives aim to accelerate adoption, reduce resistance, and track productivity outcomes. Ken Wong, Executive Vice President and President, Solutions and Services Group, Lenovo, commented: "AI adoption demands a clear strategy, trusted expertise, and the right technology mix that can accelerate time to value. With the Lenovo Hybrid AI Advantage, we are helping customers turn AI potential into real performance gains, enabling every part of the organisation to work smarter, faster, and with greater confidence." Lenovo reported measurable impacts from these services across various industries, including a recent project that saw the company assist a leading airline with digital workplace transformation through a three-month advisory, planning, and design programme. Other deployments referenced improvements in medical diagnosis, scientific research, and manufacturing outcomes. Validated solutions for enterprise deployment Lenovo is also delivering new hybrid AI platforms built in collaboration with companies such as Cisco, IBM, and NVIDIA. These platforms focus on providing performance-tuned, tested solutions across sectors including manufacturing, hospitality, retail, and public safety. Highlighted solutions include hospitality platforms leveraging data and real-time personalisation with Centific AI Data Foundry and NVIDIA, workplace safety monitoring systems using Avathon Visual AI and NVIDIA for hazard detection, and retail analytics utilising WaitTime and Intel technologies. In manufacturing, the partnership with Trifork and NVIDIA supports defect detection and sensor data analysis on the factory floor. New infrastructure and ecosystem partners An updated portfolio was also announced. The new Lenovo ThinkSystem SR680a V4 aims to meet the computational needs for large model development and simulation workloads and is specified with Intel Xeon 6 CPUs and eight NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, offering significant improvements in inferencing and computational power over previous systems. Additional enhancements include support for NVIDIA SuperNICs and the BlueField-3 DPU, aimed at accelerating network operations and securing AI deployments. In partnership with IBM, Lenovo is offering a validated hybrid AI platform based on IBM watsonx, Red Hat OpenShift, and NVIDIA, supporting generative AI model development and governance. The enhanced collaboration with Cisco adds support for Nexus switches with NVIDIA Spectrum-X, aiming at improved network performance and data centre efficiency for AI factories, notably in environments using the Lenovo ThinkSystem SR675 V3 server and NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 GPUs. The combined approach is designed to provide enterprises with integrated, trusted infrastructure adaptable to their stage in the AI deployment journey, whether at the outset, in scale-up mode, or seeking to optimise operations. Lenovo states that the latest extensions to the Hybrid AI Advantage portfolio offer businesses the opportunity to integrate AI across devices, at the edge, and in the cloud, reflecting a shift towards more accessible and personalised AI deployment.
