The rain was seen to interrupt Carlos Alcaraz's practice before his match against Russian Andrey Rublev who has won one of their previous three meetings – on the clay in Madrid last year – and has powered his way through to the fourth round at Wimbledon for the third time.
Meanwhile, on Court One spectators can expect to see Aryna Sabalenka who will face Elise Mertens later today.

TV star Claire Sweeney speaks out as ex Ricky Hatton makes major announcement
Coronation Street's Claire Sweeney has thrown her support behind her ex-partner Ricky Hatton following his bombshell announcement about a return to boxing. The British boxing icon, who had a romance with the actor over several months last year, is set to make a sensational comeback to the ring after a 13-year hiatus. Hatton, aged 46 and originally from Hyde, is poised to take on Eisa Al Dah in a middleweight clash scheduled for December 2 in Dubai, marking his first professional fight since 2012. READ MORE - Rosie O'Donnell supported by fans after sad admission ahead of Edinburgh shows READ MORE - Nicolas Jarry's telling response when quizzed on spat with Cameron Norrie at Wimbledon Although he did step into the ring for an exhibition match against Marco Antonio Barrera in 2022, this upcoming event marks a significant return to formal competition. Al Dah, also 46, holds the accolade of being the United Arab Emirates' inaugural professional boxer, having started his career back in March 2007 against Larry Foster, reports the Manchester Evening News. Plans for Hatton to jet off to Dubai for the press conference announcing the fight were thwarted after he reportedly suffered an eye injury at the Oasis reunion concert last week in Cardiff; he was advised not to travel until it had fully healed. Despite not attending in person, Hatton joined in via video link, expressing his enthusiasm: "I'm very much looking forward to it myself, to be honest with you. What you're trying to do there for boxing in Dubai is fantastic." Sweeney shared her enthusiasm on her Instagram Story, posting a video of the announcement with the caption: "This is brilliant @rickyhitmahatton." The duo's relationship sparked while both participating in Dancing on Ice earlier in 2024, although their paths had crossed intermittently over the past two decades. Claire, famed for her stint on Channel 4's Brookside, has experienced marriage twice. Her first was with Tony Hibbard, lasting from 2001 until their split in 2007, followed by a union with Daniel Reilly from 2013 to 2015. Ricky, on the other hand, has never tied the knot but was involved in a lengthy 11-year relationship with Jennifer Dooley, spanning from 2005 to 2016. The pair, Claire and Ricky, have been spotted basking in each other's company, having jetted off on multiple breaks together. However, it was confirmed that their relationship drew to a close in December. Addressing the split with MailOnline, Claire shared: "I'm great - we're still friends, we were friends, we dated and now we're friends again. It's all good!". This revelation aligns with what an insider informed the publication, making it clear that they "remain good friends" and that there was no "fallout between them".

Superstar Scottie Scheffler heads into Scottish Open as golf's $15m man and counting
World No.1 enjoying a sensational year as he plots Renaissance triumph Superstar Scottie Scheffler arrives into Scotland as golf's $15 million man. The World No.1 is at The Renaissance Club aiming to maintain his magnificent 2025 form and add another title to his CV ahead of the Open Championship at Royal Portrush. Scheffler's numbers for the first half of the year have cemented his spot at the game's leading player with a third Major added to his collection at The PGA Championship. On top of the big win at Quail Hollow, he also bagged Top 10 finishes in the other two Majors at The Masters and The US Open as the potential-epic at Portrush awaits. Scheffler has also won at the CJ CUP Byron Nelson and Memorial tournaments and posted six more Top 10s outside of the Majors with last start seeing him end the week at tied-sixth in the Travelers Championship. The American icon's win at Muirfield Village made him the first man to successfully defend that title since Tiger Woods in 2001. As well as the titles and the ranking points which also made him the first player to automatically qualify to the United States team for September's Ryder Cup at Bethpage, the 29-year-old has amassed a staggering bank of prize money through the season so far. Figures posted by Golf Digest state the Texas-based superstar has collected a whopping $15.8 million from tournaments this term, a figure which converts to just under £12 million. Scheffler can add to that significantly this week with, as well as the prestigious Rolex Series title on offer at The Renaissance Club, the impressive purse for the co-sanctioned PGA Tour and DP World Tour spectacular stands at a juicy $9 million. Of course, it is not about money for the American hero as he continues to rack up the titles and carve his name into the folklore of the sport. Scheffler has yet to win the Scottish Open title, but his last effort at the Renaissance was highly-impressive as he ended the event two years ago in a tie for third behind top two Rory McIlroy and Bob MacIntyre. Due to a heavy schedule and the extra week added at The Olympic Games, Scheffler opted to leave the Renaissance off his 2024 schedule prior to the Open at Royal Troon and his decision was vindicated as he stormed to the gold medal in Paris. Scheffler will go from East Lothian to Northern Ireland for the Open also aiming to land a first Claret Jug. His four previous appearances at The Open have seen make the Top 10 twice with a tied-seventh 12 months at Royal Troon the best effort so far.
