It is a sight which many thought they'd never see again. Hand in hand, the Gallagher's acknowledging their adoring crowd.
But tonight, for a 70,000 strong Cardiff audience, it was real. After bust ups and public slanging matches, Noel and Liam were back together for the first night of a huge tour, which is set to take them All Around the World by the end of the year.

After a video and the band's regular intro tape, the 2000 album track Fu**in in the Bushes, Oasis strode on stage, before storming into opening track Hello. Not only was it Noel and Liam's first time on stage together since 2009, it marked the first time that guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs had been on stage with both siblings for 25 years.
They were joined by long-time Oasis members Andy Bell, previously of shoegaze icons Ride, and guitarist Gem Archer, who replaced Bonehead back in 1999. Completing the line up is new drummer Joey Waronker, who recently drummed on Liam Gallagher and John Squire's recent album.
Touring members also include Christian Madden on keyboards, Jessica Greenfield on backing vocals, Alastair White on trombone, Steve Hamilton on saxophone and Joe Auckland on trumpet.

Pippa Middleton's Wimbledon Barbie dress just became the style of summer 2025

Wimbledon 2025 is well underway, and we have loved every minute so far - from the nail-biting action to, of course, the elegant outfits the spectators have been rocking. Although we haven't seen Wimbledon regular, Pippa Middleton, just yet, we are on the lookout, as the sister of the Princess of Wales never fails to turn up at the world's most famous tennis tournament. In the meantime, though, we are still musing over this amazing fashion throwback the mother-of-three donned last year. The brunette beauty famously teamed up with her sister Kate in 2024 to watch the Men's final. Pippa, who is married to James Matthews, totally coordinated with her big sis, rocking a stunning frilled blush pink creation by Beulah London, which went magnificently with Kate's purple Safiyaa dress. Pippa's dress featured three summer essentials - florals, ruffles, and a waist-defining bow. A simply glorious choice. It ensured she stood out on Centre Court and we have been thinking of it ever since. It was great to see Pippa sit alongside her sister last year, as it was Kate's second public appearance in 2024 since the royal revealed she had been receiving treatment for cancer. Pippa was right by Kate's side as the spectators movingly gave the princess a standing ovation as she entered the atrium, alongside her niece, Princess Charlotte. Pippa's dress was designed in a dazzling rosy pink that had a subtle 'Barbiecore' vibe to it. Although everyone has been wearing butter yellow this summer, pale pink is slowly taking over from the sunshine shade, having been seen all over the catwalks this season. What's more, Pippa's dress had a very special meaning attached to it - it was the same frock she wore to her little brother, James' wedding to Alizée Thevenet in 2021. We have no doubt that the style brings back wonderful memories to Pippa each time she wears it. Beulah London was founded by Natasha Rufus Isaacs and Lavinia Brennan in 2010. The famously sustainable fashion brand is loved not only by the Middleton sisters but also by Princess Beatrice, too.

'90s Rock Legends Honor Soccer Pro At Reunion Concert After Tragic Death

'90s Rock Legends Honor Soccer Pro At Reunion Concert After Tragic Death originally appeared on Parade. It was an emotional night in Cardiff on July 4, 2025, when legendary English rock band Oasis reunited for the first time in 16 years and paid tribute to Liverpool and Portugal soccer star Diogo Jota, 28, in the process. The '90s rock band, lead by formerly estranged brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, honored the fallen athlete during their song "Live Forever" at the first night of their Oasis Live '25 Tour by showing his bright red #20 jersey on the screen during the touching song, which includes lyrics like "Now is not the time to cry/Now's the time to find out why/I think you're the same as me/We see things they'll never see/You and I are gonna live forever." The intense moment came after an unbearable tragedy one day prior, when Jota and his 25-year-old brother, André Silva, died in a car accident in Spain. Jota is a father of three who married his longtime love Rute Cardoso just two weeks before the crash. At Oasis' first concert for 16 years, Live Forever is dedicated to Diogo Jota ❤️ — Men in Blazers (@MenInBlazers) July 4, 2025 Jota's team, Liverpool Football Club, took to Instagram with a heartfelt message after news of his passing. "This tragic situation and the reality of it is truly shocking, devastating and has left us numb with grief," they wrote. "Beyond the player that we all knew, was a wonderfully humble human being, he was sincere, intelligent, funny, tough and created connections with people everywhere he went. He had a zest for life that was utterly contagious. Diogo was a loving father, son, husband and brother, and we, and everyone who knew him, will miss him deeply as we all try and process the enormity of today." The Gallaghers are notorious Manchester City fans, so fans were especially touched to see them pay tribute to a member of their rival team. "Touch of class from Oasis at Cardiff tonight for Liverpool's Diogo Jota. Fly high lad, 💔" said one fan, while another added, "Oasis dedicating live forever to Diogo. Fair play to the Gallagher brothers. Unbelievable gesture 👏❤️." The evening was already set to be emotional for the brothers, who have been estranged for years. The July 4 show marked their first concert together in 16 years and first time seen in public together since the band split. They walked out on stage holding hands, and hugged during the performance. Noel even appeared to get emotional during the show. The setlist from the first tour stop was full of fan-favorite hits, including "Wonderwall," "Champagne Supernova," 'Don't Look Back in Anger," and many more.
