Joe Exotic says he will die in prison unless Trump pardons him

Would-be killer and ex-'Tiger King' star Joe Exotic claims he is now riddled with cancer and will die in prison unless President Trump pardons him — insisting to The Post, 'I will not make it another five years.' The 62-year-old felon — who is in federal lockup in Fort Worth, Texas, for a murder-for-hire plot against his rival — said he fears he won't even make it to his parole eligibility in 2030 because his cancer tumors just keep growing. 'I'm not gonna make it. I'm gonna die,' the ex-Netflix star said in an exclusive phone interview Monday while serving a 21-year sentence for plotting to kill big-cat arch-rival Carole Baskin and for violating federal wildlife laws. And that's why I plead to President Trump so hard. … With the cancer that I have, let me get out and find some real medical care instead of the taxpayers paying for half-assed medical care. Advertisement 'Try going through that [chemo] for a year, puking your ass off by yourself in a concrete room,' he added. Exotic, whose real name is Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage, announced he'd been diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2021. Getty Images Exotic — who starred in Netflix's 2020 'Tiger King' true-crime series about his life and dark slide while caring for exotic big cats at his zoo in Oklahoma — insisted his health woes have only worsened due partly to the stress of his husband, Jorge Flores Maldonado, being deported to Mexico from the US earlier this year. 'I'm dealing with prostate cancer, lung cancer. I'm waiting for a [positron emission tomography] scan because I think the prostate cancer is in my ribs now,' Exotic said. 'And the stress of [Jorge] being in Mexico with nothing. He's living like a homeless person right now, and there's nothing I can do to help because I'm stuck in here.' The pair met and fell in love while in prison when Maldonado was there on immigration raps. Exotic, betting Trump to step in and spring him early from the pokey, told The Post: 'Let me get up and pay my own bills and work and try and make it the next five years so I can bring Jorge back to America.' But he also suggested he has come to terms with the fact he'll likely die behind bars. 'I've already got my will done. So everything goes to Jorge so he can at least move on,' he said. 'I have nothing, absolutely nothing. So, you know at this point right now, I wish cancer would hurry up and take me before I have to endure five more years of hell in America.'

Lindsey Graham Hit With Embarrassing Epstein Fact-Check on Live TV

Republicans are losing their grip on Donald Trump's latest Epstein cover-up. Speaking with NBC's Meet the Press on Sunday, Senator Lindsey Graham tripped up a supposedly 'new' development in the Russian collusion investigation, suggesting that more evidence had emerged tying former President Barack Obama to the nearly 10-year-old national security scandal. Amid rising intraparty tensions over Trump's apparent ties to pedophilic sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, the president wildly suggested last week that Obama had interfered with the results of the Trump-Russia investigation, claiming that it was actually Hillary Clinton who received aid from the foreign power. But Graham carried the torch over the weekend, reiterating the president's theory on air while claiming that National Security Director Tulsi Gabbard recently found that Obama had forced investigators to 'keep looking' after initial findings had pointed to no collusion. 'I think somebody needs to look at what we found,' Graham said. 'So what we're looking at is what role did Obama play in 2016 that changed the narrative that resulted in 2017? I'm not alleging he committed treason, but I am saying that it bothers me, it's disturbing.' But then host Kristen Welker played back a montage of Graham's previous comments, proving that Graham originally agreed with the findings of the intelligence community—long before Trump tried to opportunistically rewrite history. 'Senator, are you now saying that you don't believe Russia tried to interfere in the 2016 election?' Welker pressed. Apparently getting frustrated, Graham again stressed that new evidence had emerged that changed his opinion. 'Hold on, Senator, as you know, former President Obama has weighed in through a spokesperson,' Welker interrupted. 'He says that's just patently false. I actually spoke to Susan Miller, who's a former senior CIA officer who helped oversee the 2017 intelligence assessment on Russian interference. She says it's completely false that Obama or anyone else asked them to change or sway their investigation. She says, and she's a Republican, that they all would have quit if that happened.' And then Welker asked the million-dollar question: 'Senator, are you trying to rewrite history to distract from the Epstein matter, Senator?' 'I'm trying to let you know, and the media know, that we found something we didn't know before,' Graham insisted, continuing to defend Trump. 'At the end of the day, I'm not calling for a prosecution against President Obama for treason, but I am calling for an investigation. 'The only people colluding with the Russians were the Hillary Clinton campaign,' Graham continued. But Welker wasn't having it. 'Senator, you're saying there's something new,' Welker replied. 'This report goes back to 2020. It's five years old. There's actually nothing new in this report and nothing that changes any conclusion.' 'Whatever,' Graham responded. The Mueller report was published in 2019. The 22-month investigation found that Russia did interfere with the 2016 election, but did not find sufficient evidence to prove that the 2016 Trump campaign had coordinated with Russia to undermine the election results. The report did not take a clear stance on whether Trump had obstructed justice.

Trump reiterates that he has the authority to pardon Ghislaine Maxwell

The president has come under fire for his administration's decision to withhold the release of information related to an investigation into Epstein, who died by suicide while in jail in 2019. The Justice Department in early July released a memo stating that there was no evidence that Epstein was murdered and that there is no incriminating 'client list.' The topic has divided the GOP, with some Congressional members teaming up with Democrats in an effort to compel the White House to release what information it does have. Meanwhile, The Wall Street Journal reported last week that Attorney General Pam Bondi in May briefed Trump that his name appears multiple times in files related to the federal investigation into Epstein. The uproar over Epstein doesn't appear to be dying down. Tech billionaire and one-time close Trump ally Elon Musk on Monday appeared to support claims that Trump would issue Maxwell a pardon if she implicates Democrats in testimony, responding to one social media post suggesting as much with an emoji of a bullseye. Speaker Mike Johnson also appeared to indicate he would not support a pardon for Maxwell. The Louisiana Republican told NBC's Kristen Welker on 'Meet the Press' that though the decision is Trump's, he has 'great pause about that, as any reasonable person would.' 'If you're asking my opinion, I think 20 years was a pittance,' Johnson said of Maxwell's sentence. 'I think she should have a life sentence at least.' But at least one Republican has indicated a pardon for Maxwell could be a bargaining chip. In a separate interview with Welker on Sunday, Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky agreed that it is up to the president to offer Maxwell a pardon but said that 'if she has information that could help us,' then 'whatever they need to do to compel that testimony, as long as it's truthful, I would be in favor of.'
