Mukul Dev's Sudden Death SHOCKED Arjan Bajwa: 'We Were Working On A Script'

In an emotional tribute, Arjan Bajwa reveals that late actor Mukul Dev was working on a script tailored for him before his untimely death.
Actor Arjan Bajwa is still reeling from the sudden passing of actor-writer Mukul Dev, a loss he says has left a void that words can't quite fill. Speaking just hours after the news broke on Saturday morning, the 45-year-old shares that the two shared far more than just screen space—they shared a bond forged in trust, creativity, and mutual admiration.
'What I'm feeling can't be put into words," Arjan says softly. 'Mukul and I weren't just colleagues from Son of Sardaar. We knew each other much before that and stayed connected long after. In fact, we were recently talking about a project he was writing specifically for me. The script was ready. It was something special."
The duo may have shared limited screen time in their collaborations—including State of Siege: 26/11—but off-camera, their friendship was deeply rooted. 'We would constantly exchange messages, hop on video calls. I have more than 100 minutes of his voice notes—him sharing thoughts, ideas, or just guiding me like an older brother. He always made time," Arjan recalls.
One of the most personal threads that connected them was their love for aviation. 'He was a certified pilot, and I fly as a hobby. Every time I left him a voice note, he'd tease me: 'You sound like a PA announcement on a flight. Talk to me nicely, yaar—thoda mazak mein baat kar!' That laughter… it's still ringing in my ears."
Despite their closeness, Arjan laments how they never took many photos together. 'When you're genuinely close to someone, you don't think of capturing it. At events you click pictures, but in real life—when you're talking often, meeting regularly—you just live in the moment."
It's Mukul's humour that Arjan says he'll miss most. 'He had that unmistakable Punjabi wit. Sometimes the jokes were so crass, you couldn't help but laugh. We'd speak in Punjabi and just crack up. That was our language of friendship."
As he speaks, it's clear that Arjan isn't just mourning a collaborator—he's grieving the loss of a kindred spirit, a brother in both art and life.

Inside Gauahar Khan's Postpartum Diet That Led To A 10 Kilo Loss In 10 Days

After the birth of her son Zehaan in 2023, Gauahar Khan lost 10 kgs in 10 days. Here's how she lost the weight with just conscious eating choices. Actor, model, and now mother of one (soon to be two), Gauahar Khan has never shied away from sharing the real and raw moments of her journey. After welcoming her first child, Zehaan, in 2023, Gauahar has embraced the beautiful chaos of motherhood: stretch marks, sleepless nights, and yes, weight gain included. But what caught everyone's attention wasn't just Gauahar Khan 's return to the spotlight; it was the pace of her transformation. The actor stunned fans by losing 10 kilos in just 10 days, a post-pregnancy weight loss journey that quickly sparked both admiration and online discourse. Here's a deep dive into her real, self-driven comeback – beyond the numbers, diets, and assumptions. Returning to the public eye isn't easy, especially when you're juggling diapers, hormones, and healing. Gauahar, who recently made her hosting comeback on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 11, opened up about feeling a sense of responsibility as a public figure. In a candid appearance on The Debina Bonnerjee Show, she revealed that while she never felt pressured to 'bounce back," she did want to feel like herself again: strong, energetic, and in control of her body.'I zipped my mouth, literally. But not in an unhealthy way," she said, clarifying her journey was one of self-discipline, not deprivation. The Two-Phase Plan: Nourishment First, Fat Loss Later Unlike many snap-back stories, Gauahar's weight loss wasn't rushed. She was deliberately lenient with her meals during the early months of motherhood, especially while breastfeeding. 'My meals were carb-protein-fat balanced. I was feeding another life, that mattered more than fitting into a dress," she shared. It was only once her baby turned six months old and she stopped nursing that Gauahar decided to switch gears. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Gauahar Khan (@gauaharkhan) No Trainers, No Trendy Diets Post-breastfeeding, Gauahar adopted a strict, plant-based meal routine – with three small meals a day limited to salads and soups. She consciously cut out meat, especially calorie-dense favourites like mutton, relying instead on greens, broths, and portion control. Her approach was completely self-guided – no nutritionists, no celebrity trainers, just personal research and an unwavering mindset. 'People assumed I had some fancy fitness expert behind me. I didn't. It was just me. No shortcuts," she clarified on the show. Facing the Backlash: 'You're Making Other Women Feel Bad" With visibility comes critique. Gauahar's swift transformation sparked mixed reactions – some lauding her dedication, others accusing her of setting unrealistic standards. 'I got comments like, 'You're making other women feel bad.' But I never said this is what everyone should do. I only shared my story," she explained. top videos View all The actor emphasised that her goal was never comparison, only personal empowerment. And ironically, the speed of her results even surprised her. What Gauahar's journey ultimately reflects is not vanity or societal pressure; it's self-reclamation. Her transformation was about reconnecting with her identity, taking back her energy, and showing up as the best version of herself – both for her son and for herself. 'Son of Sardaar 2' Box Office collection day 1: Ajay Devgn-Mrunal Thakur's film mints Rs 6.75 crore; beats Triptii Dimri-Siddhant Chaturvedi's 'Dhadak 2' on opening day

Ajay Devgn 's much-awaited comedy-drama 'Son of Sardaar 2' finally hit cinemas on 1 August 2025 after facing several delays. A sequel to the 2012 hit 'Son of Sardaar', this instalment sees Devgn reprise his role as Jassi Randhawa in a new, love-fuelled adventure. Despite the star's strong fan following and a wide release across the country, the film had a modest start at the box office. Son Of Sardaar 2 Movie Review Modest start but fails to be 'Raid 2' According to early estimates by Sacnilk, 'Son of Sardaar 2' collected approximately Rs 6.75 crore on its first day. While the numbers aren't bad, they're not record-breaking either, especially when compared to Ajay Devgn's earlier 2025 release, 'Raid 2', which made a much stronger Rs 19.25 crore on its opening day. Occupancy on day 1 The occupancy rate for shows across India on the opening Friday was 22.56%, with night shows witnessing the highest turnout at 40.27%. Morning shows recorded just 10.24%, while the afternoon and evening shows managed 17.88% and 21.84%, respectively. 'Son of Sardaar 2' vs ' Dhadak 2 ' The film faced strong competition on its opening day from another big release—Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi 's 'Dhadak 2'. While the romantic drama collected Rs 3.35 crore on Day 1, Ajay Devgn's comedy came out on top with Rs 6.75 crore. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like They Were So Beautiful Before; Now Look At Them; Number 10 Will Shock You Reportingly Undo 'Son of Sardaar 2' cast In 'Son of Sardaar 2', Ajay Devgn is joined by Mrunal Thakur , who plays Rabia. This marks her first film with Ajay, and fans are already enjoying their on-screen chemistry. The film boasts a large ensemble cast that adds layers of humour and drama to the story. Ravi Kishan plays Raja, Neeru Bajwa appears as Dimple, Deepak Dobriyal takes on the role of Gul, Kubbra Sait features as Mehwish, and Chunky Panday portrays Danish. The supporting cast includes Sharat Saxena, Mukul Dev, Vindu Dara Singh, Roshni Walia , Sanjay Mishra, Ashwini Kalsekar, Sahil Mehta, and Dolly Ahluwalia , who plays Jassi's mother. 'Son of Sardaar 2' movie review 'Son of Sardaar 2' received 3 stars from The Times of India. The review describes the film as a slapstick comedy with a thin plot, but filled with hilarious moments, especially in the first half, 'The slapstick comedy written by Jagdeep Singh Sidhu and Mohit Jain is a standalone sequel to 2012's Son of Sardaar. The storyline maybe thin, but Jassi juggling the dual act of being a war hero and Rabia's husband doubles the chaos. India-Pakistan rivalry jokes and one-liners will keep you in splits, along with Tony and Titu trying to expose Jassi. The first half has some entertaining moments; one of them being Raja, Tony, and Titu visiting the family to finalise the wedding, where Jassi recreates the scene from Border and plays all three parts originally portrayed by Sunny Deol, Suniel Shetty, and Jackie Shroff.' The review also points out that the second half becomes crowded with too many characters and comic tracks, 'However, as the story progresses, the plot becomes tangled and overstuffed with characters and comic tracks, though it does manages to deliver hilarity regularly. Some of the comedy misses the mark, like Jassi watching Raja's aged Russian stepmom pole dance. Routine song-and-dance sequences further drag on without advancing the plot. The climax is convoluted, predictable, and over‑dramatised.'
