Alexis Warr is ready to impress the Strictly Come Dancing fans and judges after her surprise link with a Celebrity Big Brother star came to light
Strictly Come Dancing fans are looking forward to a new professional dancer gracing their screens - and it can now be revealed she has a surprise link to a Celebrity Big Brother star. Alexis Warr was announced as one of the two new dancers for this year's edition of the BBC contest.

And viewers may have seen her on screen before after she took part in a video with JoJo Siwa. The dancer took to Instagram last year to upload images of herself alongside the former Dance Moms star.

She filmed the scenes while dancing in water dressed in devil-type attire. She then followed it up with a post showcasing: "Fav bts moments from 'Karma'".

In the upload, Alexis is seen alongside JoJo as the pair laugh hysterically while wearing all-white costumes. The reel also showed the pair hugging before another showed the fun side of recording.
The last upload from April last year showed the duo filming a scene while the rest of the cast watched on in front of a green screen.

Since her Strictly announcement, Alexis has taken o her Instagram Stories to share the experience so far. Sharing her own images, she has also re-shared bits from other members of the cast, including Nadiya Bychkova, who labelled her a "joy" as she welcomed her to the team.
Alexis joins the BBC show from the US. She made history in 2022 after becoming the first female ballroom and Latin dancer to win So You Think You Can Dance. The accolade earned the title of America's favourite dancer.
After joining Strictly, Alexis said: "I've admired Strictly for years, so joining this incredible family is such an honour. I can't wait to step into the ballroom, pour my heart into every moment, and share my love of dance with the UK.'

Alexis and fellow newcomer Julian Caillon have joined the current cast of professional dancers, which includes Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, and Katya Jones.
The new series, which will once again be hosted by recent MBE recipients, Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly, will also welcome back Johannes Radebe, Aljaz Skorjanec, Kai Widdrington, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley, Michelle Tsiakkas and Vito Coppola.

After announcing their arrivals, Sarah James, executive producer at BBC Studios, said: 'We've been big fans of Alexis and Julian for some time, so it's with great excitement that we now welcome them both to the Strictly family.
'They're two incredible dancers with bright futures ahead of them, and we know viewers are going to love getting to know them both.'
Kalpna Patel-Knight, head of entertainment at the BBC, added: 'Alexis and Julian are the perfect additions to Strictly, and we can't wait for you to see them light up the ballroom this autumn.
'With our fantastic professional dancers, plus everything else we love about Strictly, the new series promises to be bigger, better and even more glitter-packed than ever before.'

Roman Kemp reveals he's BANNED from interviewing A-lister as their 'awkward and cringe' chat resurfaces - and it's not the first time the nepo baby has left a celeb squirming!

Roman Kemp has revealed he's banned from interviewing Jennifer Lawrence after the actress had him escorted out of a press junket. The presenter, 32, spoke to the actress while she was promoting her 2015 film Joy, and revealed his bosses at Capital FM had written a list of questions to ask that he had not seen himself yet. It got off to an awkward start, with Jennifer claiming it 'sucked' for her to have to answer the questions and reeling off a list of monosyllabic answers. Yet it was his stunt of pretending to have had a tattoo of Jennifer inked on his chest that proved to be the final straw for the Oscar-winning actress - who is said to have asked security to remove Roman from the room. Roman - who is the son of singers Martin Kemp and Shirlie Holliman - reflected on the exchange on Tuesday as he shared a throwback from the day showing off his fake tattoo. He captioned the Instagram post: 'Found this old picture of when I interviewed Jennifer Lawrence and for fun pretended to be a mega fan complete with a tattoo... 'She did NOT find it funny. I was escorted out by security and told I would never interview her again.' In another post, The One Show presenter added he has not spoken to the Silver Linings Playbook star since In another post, The One Show presenter added he has not spoken to the Silver Linings Playbook star since. He quipped: 'Tbf still haven't had the chance to redeem myself or explain the situation to her... (sic)' During the interview, Jennifer seemed visibly uncomfortable as she sat through Roman's line of questioning, which included asking her what was her favourite type of cheese. At one point, he read out a poem that 'he' had written for her, prompting the actress to reply deadpan: 'wow, that was incredibly touching'. He then announced that he had new tattoo, which was met with a blank stare from Jennifer. As he unbuttoned his shirt to reveal the fake inking of Jennifer's face, she replied deadpan: 'Oh my god. Oh man, wow right over your heart. I would expect nothing less. 'I'm flattered and honoured, it looks so permanent. how did they get it so glossy?' Roman then revealed that his father is Martin Kemp of Spandeau Ballet fame and that he wanted to take Jennifer on a date to one of his concerts. She responded straight-faced: 'To meet your dad? coolest date ever...' Roman reflected on the exchange during an appearance on The Chris Ramsey Show in 2018, where he described it as his 'trickiest interview' to date. He recalled: 'She's not having the best day clearly. She hasn't said hello to me, she hasn't acknowledged me, she's just sat there on the phone like this... 'I've already sat down and said "hi how are you?" and all this type of stuff, [she] just said nothing. 'I ask the first question she goes, "sorry have you started?" I was like, "yeah I'm already in the questioning here..."' Detailing when he showed off the tattoo, Roman continued: 'She said nothing after that and then the security guard got up and asked me to leave. 'I am now banned from interviewing Jennifer Lawrence.' While Roman seems to have taken the awkward exchange in his stride, it's not the first time he has sat though an uncomfortable interview. The podcast host went viral in 2023 when he grilled Canadian actor Keanu Reeve on British culture in a Capital FM interview - leaving the Hollywood legend baffled. The podcast host went viral in 2023 when he grilled Canadian actor Keanu Reeve on British culture in a Capital FM interview - leaving the Hollywood legend baffled During the chat, Roman asked Keanu if his legendary hitman character John Wick would be able to beat 'the nation's P.E teacher' Joe Wicks in a fight. Although clearly baffled by the question, polite Keanu responded: 'Fantastic! I know it's hard to believe but John Wick doesn't really wanna fight, so let's just talk about life and fitness, John Wick hashtag fitness!' Roman then informed Keanu that John Wick sounded like British hardware chain Wickes, to which a confused Keanu replied: 'For when you just have to get it done, I'm gonna Wickes my bathroom, I'm gonna Wickes my new kitchen!' He concluded the interview by doing an impression of Keanu. Roman explained: 'So, I try to change the face first, and how I do that it, you're about to sneeze, lean back, eyes are gone, and you're now confused about the sneeze, and then it goes, "what?" (impersonating Keanu] "so you see, what I'm tryin' to do here?"' While Keanu was a good sport during the interview it seemed he was baffled by the line of questioning, prompting Capital Radio to share a clip of the exchange captioned: 'Is this the most awkward interview of all time!?' He also clashed with Love Island star Georgia Steel when she appeared on the show in 2018 after he made a sarcastic remark about her forgetting she had gone in for a kiss with Jack Fowler on the show. When asked about the exchange, Georgia insisted: 'I did not remember it the way that I saw it. I 100 percent completely get why people thought I was lying but I went back in that villa and I did not remember it the way that I saw it. 'So when I saw it I was very very shocked and I am sure people that saw my reaction would've noticed that for sure.' Roman dismissively responded with: 'Hmmmm, yes…' to which Georgia hit back: 'Oh yeah whatever!' During last year's BRIT Awards, Roman left viewers cringing when he talked Kylie Minogue into doing a 'shoey' - an Aussie tradition which involves drinking out of a shoe. Kylie seemed baffled by the skit, with one viewer summing up: 'That interview with Kylie and Roman Kemp was so awkward. 'This year's #BRITs makes the Mick Fleetwood/Sam Fox performance worthy of BAFTA Lifetime Achievement award.' Roman also had an awkward exchange with Justin Bieber, revealing he put his foot in it during a private listening session for his 2020 album, Changes. What began as a seemingly friendly invitation soon took an awkward turn when Justin demanded Roman join him on stage to offer live feedback in front of a roomful of music industry executives. 'He singled me out,' Roman said. 'He said I've got to come up on stage. He plays these tunes to all these label execs, looks at me and goes, "What do you think of that one?"' Giving his honest opinion, Roman responded: 'It's alright.' Yet Justin did not appear to appreciate the critique. '"Roman said it's alright? Alright?"', he reportedly shot back. Speaking on his BBC Sounds podcast You About? Roman continued: 'At that point, I was like, I've got to double down. So I said, "Well, yeah. It's not your best, not your worst." And that was it... My words were, "It's decent" - but I don't think he appreciated it.' Co-host Tom Grennan asked: 'You used to be pretty tight with Bieber, didn't you?' To which Roman responded simply: 'Yeah...' While Roman still follows Justin on Instagram, Justin doesn't follow him back. Last year, Roman revealed what he believes to be his most awkward ever exchange. Speaking on the Therapy Crouch podcast with Peter Crouch, he confessed: 'One person nearly made me cry. I was only young and it was for James Bond.' Roman beeped out the name of the Bond star and confirmed it wasn't Daniel Craig, but then said that the actor was as intimidating off-screen as he is on it. He shared: 'He is like that in real life and I sat there and I asked him this question, and it wasn't even a bad question, and then he sat and he thought.' Roman went on to say how the actor took control of the interview in an unexpected way. Putting on a German-Austrian accent as an impression, Roman said: 'He just turned to me and said, 'For the rest of this interview, I'll ask myself the questions I think I should be asked.' The TV star added that he was so shocked by what had happened, he was left in stunned silence. Roman first found fame in 2014 when he joined the Capital FM team as host of the Sunday morning show. Two years later he became the face of The Capital Evening Show, before being promoted to Capital Breakfast the following year. In 2021, Roman became a millionaire at the tender age of 28 after bagging an M&S menswear deal with his dad Martin, on top of their ITV show Martin & Roman's Weekend Best! He started hosting The One Show the following year. During his time on the green sofa, he found himself in the middle of a nepotism row when he interviewed his own parents on the show.
