Most retail and grocery stores will be closed on Monday, the New Brunswick Day holiday, but many summer attractions will be open.
Special events are also planned across the province.
Here's what's open, closed and planned for this New Brunswick Day:
Retail and grocery:
Walmart, Sobeys and Atlantic Superstore locations will be closed.
Some Shoppers Drug Mart locations will be closed, with others operating under reduced hours, depending on location.
N.B. Liquor store locations will be closed.
Regent Mall in Fredericton will be closed.
McAllister Place in Saint John will be closed.
Champlain Place in Dieppe will be closed.
The Saint John City Market will be closed.
Government offices and public services:
Saint John Transit will not run.
Saint John City Hall and offices will be closed.
Codiac Transpo in Moncton will not run.
Moncton City Hall and municipal offices will be closed.
Fredericton Transit will not run.
Fredericton City Hall and offices will be closed.
All public libraries and administrative offices will be closed.
Service New Brunswick will be closed.
Attractions:
Beaverbrook Art Gallery in Fredericton is open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m
The Fredericton Region Museum will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Magnetic Hill Zoo will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Kings Landing will be open with free admission.
The Fundy Discovery Aquarium in Saint Andrews will be open
How some communities will celebrate:
The official New Brunswick Day celebrations on Monday will be held in Doaktown at Doaktown Community Park beginning at noon.
A fireworks display in Saint John over Lower Cove will begin at 9:45 p.m. on Sunday, the day before the holiday. The rain date for the fireworks is on Monday, at the same time.
The City of Bathurst will have live music, inflatables, food trucks and more at Youghall Beach Park from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Shediac plans activities including games, music, and a barbecue from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
