The emergency responders of the Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council received a donation from students late Tuesday afternoon.
There were Grade 2 students from the Claret School in Quezon City brought several boxes of freshly baked bread.
In one of the posted photos, a student was dressed in a costume of Squid Game, a popular show on Netflix, carrying a note that says "Freshly baked breads, Claret QC, Grade 2 boys."
Earlier, the Quezon City government declared a state of calamity following the incidents of flooding with families leaving their homes to seek temporary shelter in evacuation centers and churches. — BAP, GMA Integrated News

'Avatar: Seven Havens': First look at the Earthbender destined to become the next Avatar

The newest Avatar is here! Avatar Studios has unveiled the first official artwork of "Avatar: Seven Havens," the upcoming sequel series to the classic "Avatar: The Last Airbender." The artwork shows a young Earthbender, who is destined to become the next Avatar after Korra. She is accompanied by a man and an animal in a desert kingdom. According to previous reports, the Earthbender is hunted by both human and spirit enemies in an era where her title marks her as humanity's destroyer, not its savior. Original creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko have returned to create the new series, and described it as "full of fantasy, mystery, and a whole new cast of amazing characters." "Avatar: Seven Havens" is the second sequel to "Avatar: The Last Airbender" after "Avatar: The Legend of Korra." Meanwhile, Netflix recently adapted "Avatar: The Last Airbender" into a live-action series. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
