LIVE: 4th of July mattress sales 2025 — today's best deals on beds, bedding, and sleep tech
We've also been extensively researching past 4th of July mattress sales (and mattress sales in general) to help us separate the firecrackers from the duds, telling you if a deal is genuinely amazing or just a regular discount dressed up as a star-spangled saving. Below, our live hub will showcase the newest discounts on mattresses, bed toppers, bedding, and sleep tech — while also offering expert sleep advice, shopping tips, and hands-on reviews.
1. Top sales at a glance2. Best deals — editor's choice3. Latest news live
1. Saatva Classic Mattress: twin was $1,399 now $999 at SaatvaOur number one rated mattress, after seven months of testing our Sleep Editor found the Saatva Classic had "revolutionized" her sleep. Earning full marks in our Saatva Classic mattress review, this luxury hybrid innerspring has a breathable, neutral feel that's ideal for sleeping in a heatwave. It's also customizable and with three feels and two heights available, it suits most sleep styles. With our semi-exclusive links you can enjoy $400 off all sizes of the Classic, reducing a queen to $1,699 — the same price we saw for Memorial Day. That's the best Saatva mattress sale you're likely to see on the Classic and it comes with a 365-night trial, lifetime warranty and free white glove delivery.
Our review: ★★★★★User score: ★★★★★ (4,000+ reviews)
2. DreamCloud Classic Hybrid Mattress: twin was $1,014 now $399 at DreamCloudDreamCloud's 4th of July discount is pretty much business as usual, but the fact is that you'll rarely pay over the odds for this bed, which we rank as the best mattress in a box. At $699 for a queen size it's $50 more than you'd have paid on Memorial Day, and we wouldn't be entirely surprised to see the DreamCloud drop to that in a flash sale on the 4th of July, but even at its current price it represents impressive value, particularly when you factor in all the extras that come with it: free mattress protector, sheets and pillows, as well a 365-night trial, lifetime warranty and free shipping and returns. Our DreamCloud mattress review can tell you more about why we rate this one so highly.
Our review: ★★★★½User score: ★★★★½ (based on 9,200+ reviews)
3. Siena Memory Foam Mattress: twin was $199 now $149 at AmazonThe Siena is simply the best cheap mattress we've tested, going above and beyond its low price tag to deliver full-body support. It avoids the usual pitfalls of cheap memory foam beds, earning praise from our Siena Memory Foam Mattress review team for its breathable feel and sturdy edge support, although we found the firm feel too hard for side sleepers. The Siena mattress sale runs year-round with a queen regularly only $359, but this Amazon deal goes above and beyond and brings you a queen for just $278 — without a doubt the cheapest, better-than-Black-Friday deal we've ever seen on this Siena bed. At either retailer, you'll get a 180-night trial and a 10-year warranty (excellent benefits from a budget bed.)
Our review: ★★★★User score: ★★★★½ (3,000+ reviews)
4. Nectar Classic Mattress: twin was $998 now $349 at NectarLike its sister company DreamCloud, Nectar isn't one to mix up its deal prices when it doesn't have to. And so its 4th of July deal is what you'll pay pretty much every other day of the year; fortunately at $649 for a queen it's an excellent price for the best memory foam mattress on the market. In our Nectar Classic Mattress review we were impressed by its mix of pressure relief and full-body support, and found that its medium-firm feel would be suitable for just about everyone except perhaps lighter side sleepers, who might need just a little more cushioning. As well as a great night's sleep you'll get a 365-night trial, forever warranty and free shipping and returns.
Our review: ★★★★½User score: ★★★★½ ( based on 51,000+ reviews)
5. Helix Midnight Luxe Mattress: twin was $1,436 now $1,048 at Helix with code TOM27Its plush top and joint-soothing comfort earned it the best mattress for side sleepers title. Our Helix Midnight Luxe mattress review team also found it to have good lumbar (lower back) support to prevent aches and has strong edges for sitting. You can now grab this at 27% off using the code TOM27, which drops the MSRP of a queen Helix Midnight Luxe from $2,398.66 to $1,751.03, which is the same price drop we saw for Memorial Day (though the Memorial Day sale did throw in some bedding freebies, too). This also includes the 100-night sleep trial, lifetime warranty and free shipping. Our review: ★★★★ User score: ★★★★½ ( based on 7,500+ reviews)
6. Leesa Original Mattress: twin was $879 now $609 at LeesaThis all-foam medium-firm mattress is another great choice for side sleepers thanks to the pressure relief and contouring support it offers. Our Leesa Original mattress review team was impressed by its excellent motion isolation, making it an ideal option for couples. Stomach sleepers, however, might require something with firmer support. While the standard discount at Leesa is around 20% to 25%, you can now find the Leesa Original at up to 30% off. This drops the MSRP of a twin from $879 to $609 while a queen is currently $929 (was $1,332). It also comes with a 100-night sleep trial, lifetime warranty and free shipping.
Our review: ★★★★ User score: ★★★★★
7. Sleep Innovations 10' Gel Memory Foam Cooling Mattress: twin was $249.99 now $178 at WalmartHere's a medium-firm mattress suitable for all sleeping styles with both supportive innersprings and a gel memory foam layer for added breathability. This affordable mattress is ideal for anyone looking for an adaptive bed, complete with a cooling antimicrobial top cover made with recycled fibers. You can now save up to $81.99 which drops the MSRP of a queen Sleep Innovations 10' from $299.99 to $228 on Walmart.
User score: ★★★★★
8. Bear Elite Hybrid Mattress: twin was $1,998 now $1,299 at BearLet's get to the point: the Bear Elite Hybrid mattress is our #1 best cooling mattress of the year, making it THE mattress for hot sleepers looking for a cooling sleep solution. During testing, it kept our lead reviewer comfortably cool through a warm July in Texas, likely thanks to its Celliant infused cover (for which you must pay an extra fee), which converts body heat into infrared energy to aid thermoregulation and muscle recovery — yes, it's the brainbox of mattresses. The current Bear mattress sale takes 35% off, reducing a queen size to $1,578 (was $2.427) as standard or $1,773 (was $2,727) with the Celliant cover. You can pick your firmness level and a lifetime warranty and free shipping is included.
Our review: ★★★★½ User score: ★★★★½ (based on 3,900+ reviews)
9. Brooklyn Bedding CopperFlex Pro Hybrid Mattress: twin was $932 now $652.40 at Brooklyn BeddingThe CopperFlex Pro Hybrid is a recent addition to the Brooklyn Bedding range and it's a strong option if you're in search of a luxurious feel and cooler sleep at a price that won't break the bank. We think it's the best cooling mattress you can get for under $1,000: our testers found that it delivered reliable temperature regulation as well as providing zoned lumbar support and plenty of cushioning thanks to its plush pillow top. Combination sleepers should get on well with this one, although heavier back and stomach sleepers might find it a little too soft to provide adequate support. Brooklyn Bedding is offering a 30% discount for the 4th of July (it's usually 25% off), bringing a queen size down from $1,332 to $932.40; it comes with a 120-night trial, which isn't the longest, but you'll also get a lifetime warranty and free shipping.
Our review: ★★★★½User score: ★★★★½ (based on 550+ reviews)
10. Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Breeze Mattress: twin long was $4,099 now $3,599 at Tempur-PedicThe 4th of July event at Tempur-Pedic takes $500 off its cooling Tempur-Breeze mattress in all sizes, which sounds like an outstanding deal until you realize that you're still going to have to fork out a lot of money for this bed. Tempur-Breeze is one of the best luxury mattress brands and isn't even its most expensive bed - that would be its Tempur-ActiveBreeze smart bed with prices starting at $9,298 - but with a queen size coming in at $4,099 (reduced from $4.599) the Tempur-Breeze is still a serious investment. It's cheaper than it was on Black Friday, though, when it had just $300 off, and satisfied customers have plenty of good things to say about this luxury mattress' cooling powers and uniquely contouring feel.

Walmart's 4th of July sale rivals Prime Day with deals from $9— here's everything I'd shop now
With 4th of July sales already here and Prime Day just a few days away, there's double the reason to start shopping this holiday weekend. And while Amazon has been stealing the spotlight when it comes to flashy discounts, it's worth noting that Walmart is stepping up to the plate with its own set of impressive savings. One of the best Walmart 4th of July sales right now is Walmart Plus at 50% off. That means you'll pay just $49/year for all of the benefits of Walmart Plus like early access to Switch 2 restocks, free delivery, and fuel discounts. Additionally, Walmart's sale section is packed to the brim with sizzling 4th of July savings on pretty much everything you could want. For example, you can currently shop patio and garden deals from $9 at Walmart to refresh your outdoor space, or get grills and outdoor cooking accessories on sale from $12. As Walmart's 4th of July sale goes head to head with Amazon Prime Day, keep scrolling to check out my favorite deals from the sale. I also recommend checking out our Walmart promo codes coverage. Plus, check out the early Prime Day deals that are at least 50% off. Walmart Plus: was $98/year now $49/year @ WalmartFor returning/expired Walmart Plus members only, Walmart is taking 50% off its annual Walmart Plus membership. The sale comes right in time for 4th of July sales and ahead of Prime Day. 4th of July sale: deals from $9 @ WalmartIndependence Day is almost here — and if you're gearing up for celebration or barbecues to celebrate the holiday, Walmart has plenty of festive deals to help prepare you. From decor and fashion to coolers and grilling essentials, shop Walmart's 4th of July shop for everything you need. Patio and garden event: up to 50% off @ WalmartWalmart has launched a major savings event to help you refresh your garden. If you're looking to upgrade your garden, deck or patio for less, consider Walmart's outdoor living section your one-stop shop. The retail giant is currently offering unbeatable discounts of up to 50% on stylish and functional outdoor items, including string lights, fire pits, lounge chairs, garden beds and more. Grills and accessories: deals from $12 @ WalmartFrom Weber to Blackstone (and many notable brands in between), Walmart is having a huge sale on grills and outdoor cooking accessories with many deals under $100 mark. With barbecue season officially here, Walmart has tons of grill options to choose from — without breaking the bank! Shark and Ninja appliances: up to 40% off @ WalmartWalmart is offering up to 40% off select Shark and Ninja appliances. The sale includes air fryers, robot vacs, blow dryers, blenders and more. Prices start as low as $49 for Shark devices or $29 for Ninja appliances. Smart TVs: deals from $88 @ WalmartWalmart has a massive sale on smart TVs. The sale includes TVs from brands like TCL, Hisense, JVC, and Walmart's own Onn brand. After discount, prices start as low as $88. Keep in mind that there are a few 1080p sets included in the sale. I recommend sticking with 4K resolution as the price difference isn't all that great. It's since been replaced by another model, but the Iniu 10000mAh Portable Charger is a previous winner on our list of the best power banks. Combining its compact size, 10,000 mAh battery capacity, and two USB-A ports, it's the affordable portable charger for anyone that needs on-the-go power. Wireless earbuds have come a long way, and now, you can get a solid-sounding pair of buds for under $25. While not all budget earbuds are up to par, the JLab Go Air Pop True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds are an ace pick. They got a 4-star rating in our Jlab Go Air Pop review for their satisfying sound, 7-hour battery life and IPX4 water resistance rating. This Walmart-exclusive streaming device won't get you streaming TV shows and movies in 4K resolution but it won't break the bank either. Whether you need a stocking stuffer or a cheap way to upgrade a Full HD TV, this Roku device is a solid option. Arlo's Essential Outdoor HD camera is a wireless, Wi-Fi connected weather-resistant outdoor camera designed to be positioned wherever is convenient for you. It can withstand all manner of weather conditions to display 1080p full high definition and live streaming video. Although a paid plan is required for features like cloud storage, 24/7 support and people, package and vehicle detection, the camera itself features an integrated spotlight and siren, motion detection and notifications. Light up your outdoor space at night with this set of string lights that are 100 feet long and include 50 bulbs. You'll want to spend all night under the stars with these lights that emit a soft white glow and will make a stylish statement hanging in your backyard or over your patio. Our JBL Go 4 review determined that this is the perfect portable Bluetooth speaker for those on a budget. Small enough to take traveling, it still packs enough performance to soundtrack small gatherings while bringing useful features like IP67 water and dust protection, and multi-point connectivity. It also comes in a variety of fun colors. This umbrella is the perfect addition to your backyard or patio. It provides optimal shade while adding some elegant style. The umbrella surface is UV-proof, waterproof and fade resistant so you can use it on both sunny and rainy days. This super-cute mini digital camera is a nice find with this discount. Our Fujifilm Instax Pal review said this device is extremely easy to use, and we had plenty of praise for its portable design. While you'll need to tether it to the companion app on your phone, it's perfect for taking fun, retro-style pictures. I've got to recommend a TV when it's under $100, especially when it's 32-inch and comes from Walmart's very own Onn. range. It's a sturdy set with Roku Smart TV running the show, meaning you'll get access to a lot of streaming. So, if you're looking for a simple TV that'll let you watch your movies and shows in HD-quality, this one's at the breathtakingly cheap price of $88. The Hisense R6 series includes HDR support, 4K resolution, and Roku's excellent operating system. At its current sale price, it's a total steal. It features Dolby Vision/HDR 10 support, a low-lag gaming mode, and DTS Studio Sound. The TCL QM6K is the perfect deal for a display upgrade. It offers a VRR feature that can push the TV refresh rate to 288Hz and leverages Dolby Vision IQ for sophisticated HDR support. It's a great TV for gamers and comes in a wide range of sizes at incredible prices. We gave it an excellent 4-star rating in our TCL QM6K Mini-LED TV review. The Q70C is a budget Samsung option that sports some awesome features despite a lower price tag. It uses 4K upscaling for impeccable picture quality and a motion Xcelerator feature for 4K 120Hz visuals and buttery smooth gameplay. With both Quantum Dot and HDR, the Q70C comes equipped with lifelike color and contrast ratios, as well, so darker scenes are easier to experience. Walmart is taking $140 off this folding Adirondack Chair, a durable piece of patio furniture that doesn't come cheap. But for just $99, this foldable, weather-proof design (it's constructed from high-density polyethylene lumber) is a steal. Reviewers rave these are easy to put together and are built to last for many summers to come. One buyer even notes it's "a very solid chair for the money!" This small outdoor conversation set is available for $190 off the regular price. Made of woven rattan, high-quality steel frames, and tempered glass table top, this adorable set will be the perfect spot to relax or enjoy a cocktail outdoors this spring. It also comes with seat cushions featuring an ergonomic design for extra comfort. Level up your outdoor events with an all-in-one cooler cart! Perfect for entertaining, its huge capacity can hold up to 50 bottles, 70 cans or all your favorite food and snacks. It also has four sturdy wheels that allow you to easily move the cooler or even take it on the go. Kick back in style and comfort with this outdoor wicker set that will match any theme or decor. Perfect for cozy spring nights by the fire pit, this set of rocking chairs feature a comfortable high-back design and plush cushions. The set also comes with a 2-tier coffee table. It will make a lovely addition to your porch or patio. The 2025 iPad features a larger 11-inch (2360 x 1640) screen, A16 CPU, 12MP rear/front cameras, USB-C connectivity and Magic Keyboard Folio ($249) support. The base model features 128GB of storage, which double the capacity of its predecessor. It's available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB capacities. The Apple Watch 10 boasts a thinner and lighter design, faster charging and a new sleep apnea detection feature. Some other new key features include 30% more screen area, rounded corners and a first-ever wide angle OLED display. The device also features advanced health insights, including the ability to take an ECG anytime. It's no longer Apple's flagship, but the MacBook Air M1 offers good performance and value. The M1 CPU never stuttered in our tests and also helped it reach over 14 hours of battery life. It features a 13.3-inch Retina display, Apple M1 CPU, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. In our MacBook Air M1 review, we said it offers amazing endurance and very good speed. While they're an older model, the Sony WF-C700N are still a great buy. In our Sony WF-C700N review, we praised their excellent sound, strong noise cancellation and great call quality. They're also lightweight and last for 7.5 hours of listening time with ANC on. The SRS-XE200 is an IP67 certified Bluetooth speaker that's waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof. It offers up to 16 hours of battery life and includes a built-in strap that makes it easy to take on the go. There's also a buit-in mic with echo cancelling technology. The Beats Pill is a redesigned version of the company's first (and most popular) Bluetooth speaker, now with improved sound, 24-hour battery life, USB-C charging, access to Apple's Find My network and compatibility with Android and iPhone. Plus, it's IP67-rated for water resistance, so you won't get caught short in the rain. The AirPods Pro 2 pack Apple's new H2 chip to provide 2x more noice cancellation than their predecessors. They also offer Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking for a more immersive audio experience. In our AirPods Pro 2 review, we said they take everything we loved about the original AirPods Pro to the next level. This newer model includes a USB-C charging case. Streaming mics don't come much better than this. We were blown away by the Alias Pro's range of recording features and its sheer audio quality. The SteelSeries Alias Pro XLR is a professional-quality gaming streaming microphone with amazing Sonar companion software designed specifically for gamers. The app launches a virtual mixing desk and unlocks a whole word of intuitive settings and features, which elevate this mic to the next level. This coffee maker is certainly worth the investment, especially if you're a fan of iced coffee. It can brew hot or iced coffee in three cup sizes, including 10, 8 and 6-oz. It includes a 36-oz water reservoir as well as an iced tumbler. Get rid of the tiniest of unwanted particles and air contaminants with the Shark Clean Sense Air Purifier. Its anti-allergen HEPA filter is designed to tackle everything form smog and toxins to dust and dander, giving you healthier, purified indoor air quality. The Ninja Creami has been making waves (scoops?) in the home cook world. We gave it 4 stars in our Ninja Creami review. We loved how easy it was to make delicious homemade ice cream. There's a huge range of recipe styles available, such as milkshake, froyo, and even gelato! And as if it couldn't get any better — the Creami is also easy to clean. Leave your spring cleaning to your digital assistant. The Shark Matrix Robot Vacuum features precision home mapping, powerful suction that makes it great for households with pets, and hands-free cleaning thanks to its Alexa/Google Assistant support. Dyson's V8 is a solid cordless vacuum that offers a good balance of cleaning power and battery life. It sports a lightweight design, up to 40 minutes of battery life on a full charge, and two cleaning modes and accessories to give all the floors in your home the care they deserve. And with a moveable head on the main cleaning tool, it makes cleaning a breeze. The 80V 21" is one of Greenworks' most popular mowers. It features a single lever, 5-position height adjustment and promises low-noise one-touch controls.

Are 4th Of July Sales Better Than Black Friday? While both sales events offer some of the best deals of the year, there are advantages and disadvantages to each. Black Friday sales tend to feature a broader range of discounted products, with more brands participating in the fall sales event.

00:00 How are you guys preparing for the 4th of July holiday? Well, first of all, the whole family's on deck right now. Okay. This is a busy, busy weekend. It sort of comes down a little bit the rest of July and August. A lot of people go on vacation. Well, you know, it's it's busy. Busy. And we know that the consumers, the customers in here will have 100,000 of them this week in all our stores. They feel pretty good. They're buying, you know, And so we we feel people feel good about going into this holiday right now. Do you worry about the rest of the year? Do you see the numbers, for example, for the broader economy on a day like today, jobs are doing really well. A lot of that is government employment as well. At what point does it change and how do you worry about that from your seat? Well, I think and you're seeing this in the overall stock markets and everything, there's a lot of uncertainty out there. I'm talking to other retailers. I'm talking to our suppliers, and nobody's really sure what's going to happen. I mean, there's a potential on July 9th of 30% they're going back for for Europe. So what's that going to do to all our wine and champagne and scotch and beers that we get from from Europe, olive oil cheeses, you know, what does that mean? So we don't know right now. There's a lot of uncertainty. Right now, it it's sort of just like my finger. And I took a test here in the store. I would say people feel pretty good about the economy right now. What do you see about the choices they're making still? My wife is from Spain. She will never buy olive oil from anywhere else. I, on the other hand, have made the switch from German beer to the cannabis infused beverages that you have there. It's do Leonards. What what kind of choices are people making? Well, you know, what you mentioned is a good one. Those those infused sparkling waters would see right now rocking and rolling really, really hot right now. You know, what else is really trending is also non-alcoholic beer that's been up right now. Now, you know what we say to our customers now there's really six ways to save money or to prepare for this holiday. The first most important thing for everybody that you should remember this know, you said you're coming to the store later. Check your propane tank. Okay. The worst thing is you got your burgers or something ready to go and there's no propane. Second thing, we got a lot of specials going on this week. Mac, you mentioned eggs, Good Burger from Pasteurized, which, by the way, I think are much easier than conventional. But these are only 299. So. So look for specials that are out there right now. The other thing we learned from cold weather, you can freeze stuff. Take advantage of the sales and then freeze it. But do it yourself. You know, we have these you can get this all cut up. We have people that have to do that. Same with guacamole. Cut the watermelon yourself. You'll save the money. And the last step there is to walk away from our camels that we have because we're trying to entice you to taste the product and buy it. It's one extra item in your car. It's going to cost you a little bit more. But those are some tips for saving money. Don't freak out over the prices. They're about the same as last year, as you mentioned earlier. That's only ten bucks a head, basically on average for each person. It's a lot less than a restaurant. It's a good point to do it yourself when you come to things like the watermelon or the guacamole. And maybe part of the problem is, you know, the avocados, it's do Leonards have to sing? So it's not just they don't just have to taste good. They have to be on. You got to say I'm totally guilty for sending my significant other out to get another propane tank every holiday. Still, I want to ask you about something else that's happening here in New York City. As somebody who owns a major grocery store chain, you have a mayoral candidate here, Zoran Mamdani, considering a plan to establish publicly owned grocery stores. Of course, this plan is a pilot plan. And of course, he has to win the election in order for any of this to take place. But what do you think of that plan? Well, first of all, this is a business, a very thin margin. Okay. Our family's been in this for 50 years of retailing. Well, but it's not easy running the supermarket. Look at you. Got to run it all weekend right now. We don't get the weekend off like like you would. So I think for the government to think they can run a grocery store, it's about customer service. It's about keeping everything really fresh on the shelf every day. You've got to keep your prices sharp. I mean, you're you're in a competitive mode. We got here. We got to dodge every single day. It's not easy. You know, I was just saying, I know the Wegmans. You know, they have a store in Manhattan. They know the customers. I know Abbey Morgan Williams, which has a number of stores there. They're struggling in New York, even with the issue. And and a lot of others think it's tough to run supermarkets in New York City. I don't know how the government could do it.
