Ugarte goes public with British influencer & Mbappe's ex after months of rumours

Ugarte, 24, confirmed months of public speculation when he posted a snap of the holidaying duo to his social media.

He tagged May Heath alongside a heart emoji in the caption of an image of the pair enjoying their time on a yacht while holidaying in Spain.
May Heath is a fashion and beauty influencer, boasting almost 230,000 Instagram followers and over 50,000 followers on TikTok.
The 27-year-old was previously involved with French superstar Kylian Mbappe.
The pair were seen having dinner together in Greece in 2021, and she was reported to be holidaying with the now-Real Madrid man as recently as January 2024.
But rumours began swirling in April that the influencer - who splits her time between the UK and Australia - had moved on to the Frenchman's ex-PSG team-mate Ugarte.
Eagle-eyed fans had previously noticed that the background to some of May Heath's photos resembled those seen in Ugarte's snaps from home.
Those Instagram sleuths seem to have been proven right with Ugarte's announcement.
There appears to be no bad blood between Ugarte and his ex-team-mate, with Mbappe's account liking the couple's post on Instagram.

Manchester United fans will hope the relationship will help the Uruguayan move on from a lacklustre season.
Ugarte arrived from PSG last summer for a fee of around £43m.
His arrival did not provide the impact that fans had hoped for, however, with Ruben Amorim's men slumping to a 15th place finish in the Premier League.
Manchester United might be poised to raid PSG once again for a midfield partner for Ugarte in Spanish all-rounder Fabian Ruiz.

Love Island: Everything To Know About Casa Amor's Cach

As Love Island's go, season 12 has already been pretty explosive. We've seen backstabbing, fights, new twists, and of course, plenty of romance - and we're only halfway through the series. With the infamous Casa Amor just around the corner, the tension is only set to rise even higher. In case you need reminding, the twist sees existing couples forced apart, with each partner being tested by new arrivals in Casa Amor and the main villa. One fresh face ready to shake things up in Casa Amor is Cach, who has already got everyone talking despite having only just stepped foot in the villa. You might even recognise him from a previous dating show... Cach, whose real name is Cacherel Mirjah Mercer, is one of the boys joining Love Island for Casa Amor alongside Boris, Ty, Jamie, Martin and Chris. Cach lives in East London, and works as a professional dancer. When it comes to dynamics in the villa, Cach has admitted he isn't afraid to rock the boat - making him a perfect contestant for the ultimate Casa Amor test. 'None of them were together to begin with. No one is boyfriend and girlfriend, they're all saying they're open,' he said, adding he has his eye on Shakira, Billykiss and Emily. And as for his type, he's admitted it's 'Someone who's emotionally intelligent, beautiful, charismatic, caring, affectionate, and I'd say an intro extrovert.' From what he's said, it sounds like Cach has his eyes on the prize - but is adamant he will maintain his values throughout the process. In a pre-show chat with ITV, he confessed: 'I think I'm gonna get into trouble, I feel like I'll be the joker of the group!' adding I'll also be the person people come to for advice... and a bit of eye candy at the same time. People expect me to be a bit of a menace when it comes to dating, but if you get to know me and my values I'm the complete opposite, I'm a modern day Romeo!' You might recognise Cach from his appearance an another dating show called Are You The One? UK which aired back in 2022 on MTV. He was 20 at the time he appeared on the show, and went by his real name, Cacharel. The show followed a group of singletons as they are put together in a house to find a match which has been chosen for by science. And there's a £200,000 prize fund up for grabs if they are correctly paired up when the series comes to an end. Yes! You can keep up to date with all things Cach, including some videos of his dancing, at his handle @cacherel_. Yes, he does. On TikTok, Cach has even more followers and he also showcases his impressive dance moves.

Mark Clattenburg calls for harsher punishments for divers on new Mail podcast as Premier League icon takes aim at 'cheating' stars

Former referee Mark Clattenburg has called for more players to be sent off for diving, telling the Mail's Whistleblowers podcast that simulation remains a 'huge problem in football'. Speaking to Mail Sport Editor Ian Ladyman, Clattenburg - who officiated nearly 300 Premier League matches during his 13-year career - said a suspension system should be implemented to punish football's worst offenders. With the advent of VAR, the ex-elite referee argued, it should be easier to punish players who routinely 'cheat' to have decisions go in their favour. 'It was a massive problem when I was a referee', Clattenburg told the podcast. 'VAR has certainly cleaned the game up – because players know they can be more easily caught. 'Before, with the speed of the game, it was so difficult to know whether a player had dived or not.' 'But, for me, it's still a huge problem in football.' Clattenburg cited an incident involving former Ireland international James McClean during a Championship play-off semifinal as evidence that harsher penalties for diving are needed. He remembered: 'It was QPR against Wigan and McClean went clean through on goal. Wigan were winning 1-0, and it was the second leg. 'He rounded the goalkeeper and went down. I ran to the situation and had a really good position, so decided to award McClean a yellow card. 'He turned to me afterwards and said: "I don't care if I get a yellow card, I'm not getting sent off. But if you had awarded a penalty, you'd have been destroyed". 'It made me think – players should be sent off. If they clearly cheat to win, they should be off. 'For the worst cases, there should be a panel that can give retrospective punishments – of one, two, three game suspensions.' The former official argued that the current system puts too much burden on individual referees to make split-second judgement calls. 'Players used to laugh with each other when they dived', Clattenburg said. 'The person who always takes the worst consequences from it are the referees. You would be the one who would get the abuse – hated for the decision you made. 'It's not a laughing matter because players are only cheating themselves. I used to say that to them – but they didn't care, they were only interested in winning football matches.' Broadcaster Gordon Smart agreed with his co-host, describing himself as a football 'traditionalist' who despises the precedent set by diving. 'I cannot stand diving', Smart told Clattenburg. 'I hate the example it sets for younger players. Also, it would make refereeing the game much easier, if everyone was honest. 'If somebody went down and it's authentic, the right decision would always be made. But if there's a question mark, it puts all the pressure on the referee.'

Arsenal summer move for star 'completely stalls' in blow to Gunners' hopes of bringing in another signing

Arsenal have suffered a blow in their latest move to bring in another summer signing after talks with a player completely stalled, according to reports. The Gunners have been linked with a host of players in recent weeks as they look to add to their squad over the summer transfer window. Mikel Arteta 's side are seeking to improve on last season after a third consecutive second-placed finish in the Premier League and an impressive run to the Champions League semi-finals that was ended by the competition's eventual winners PSG. They have already been boosted by the signing of Martin Zubimendi - whose £60million transfer from Real Sociedad was confirmed on Sunday. However, Arsenal have now suffered a fresh blow in their bid to add further depth to their squad elsewhere. They have been looking at defensive cover for their first-choice centre-back pairing of William Saliba and Gabriel, who have established themselves as one of the league's strongest partnerships in recent seasons. But their pursuit of Spain U21 international Cristian Mosquera appears to have hit a bump in the road. According to The Mirror, talks between Arsenal and the Valencia defender have 'completely stalled' after the LaLiga side rejected an offer below his release clause - believed to be around £15million. Mosquera, who recently played against England at the U21 European Championships for Spain is in the final year of his contract, meaning Valencia may yet sell him. They appear reluctant to do so, with Spanish media reporting that the club have offered him a contract extension to keep him at the club beyond this season. Something will have to give in the saga, with Mosquera already making clear his desire to move to north London. Mosquera's camp have allegedly already agreed personal terms with Arsenal, which could make it even more difficult for Valencia to convince him to stay. They could yet allow him to leave if Arsenal meet their valuation of the player, which is reportedly in excess of £20million. Elsewhere, Arsenal's sporting director Andrea Berta has reportedly stepped up the club's move for Viktor Gyokeres with face-to-face talks in Portugal. They are closing on Sporting Lisbon striker Gyokeres in a deal worth up to £70million. Now, the move is accelerating, with Berta having jetted out to Portugal to sit down with the prolific forward, according to CNN Portugal. They report that the former Atletico Madrid chief flew there last week for discussions with Sporting and it is unclear if or when he returned. As Mail Sport reported, Gyokeres came back into focus after RB Leipzig refused to budge sufficiently in their valuation of Benjamin Sesko.
